[Q] SGS2 and Asphalt6 and Riptide

Hello!
I have installed Chainfire 3D and THD Games like
Fruit Ninja HD
Samurai 2
Backbreaker HD (with pixelfailures but still working)
are running!
Riptide
Is Riptide working with the Patch of Chainfire?
Some People say that the game is running..
When i start the App i see a black screen and then the app is closed!
Asphalt6(Gameloft):
Is there any chance to get the game running on my SGS2?
When i go on gameloft.com (with SGS2) and click on "BUY" Asphalt6, then i get a message from T-Mobile: This service is currently not available!
This message i got 3-4 days ago!
Is it possible to play the game on SGS2 or not? -.-

I've got Asphalt 6 HD and it's running fine on my Galaxy SII. I bought it of my either O2 or Virgin Sim I don't rememnber which though. I got it for a pound aswell which is a bargin.

Asphalt6 works on my gs2 untouched o2 phone.
It doesnt seem to be super responsive though. I found asphalt 5 on my gs worked better than this. Could just be how the game runs on anything.

I have the same problem with riptide, just closes.

Since chainfire app update and installing the shaders Riptide is working perfectly and the graphics are amazing.
The first game, which is very beautiful.
Asphalt6 HD is working, but the graphics aren't very nice ..

yup latest update fixed riptide closing problem for me.... Give it a shot!

Are you trying Reptide demo or full version? Because demo didnt work for me, full version did. This has been confirmed by the creator Chainfire 3D.. Dont know if the demo works now.
Anyway, the full version works! And its worth it... More then just good graphics!

Yes very nice graphics, but a car racing game, like Asphalt6HD with the quality of RiptideGP would be very nice for me.
Because Riptide is only racing aroung maps, nothing else..
In Asphalt6 you are able to tune your car, change cars ect.
Asphalt6 graphics are not much better than "nonHD" games..

The RipTide demo works fine _if_ you install the shaders. Find the shaders for the full version of the game, and rename the 3 files inside the .ZIP replacing "blue" with "bluedemo". Install the resulting file into Chainfire3D and the demo then works.

yep asphalt 6 works fine, try to get the apk from their website

I'm able to start riptide, but the game itself is nearly black with some pixels. I installed chainfire and the shaders. I also tried the tegrad-libs (which a working cause I can play pinball which doesn't work without tegra-libs).
any solution? :-(

Asphalt 6 SD CARD FILES?
Can any one please give me the SD CARD DATA FILES FOR ASPHALT 6 HD FOR SGS2.. AS i am not having a WIFI and no direct internet connection. I am using it in a college with proxy ..
so i will have to manual install it the data files..
PLZ SOME ONE GIVE ME The DATA FILES SD CARD ? ?

Hey guys, do you think we can use chainfire 3D in order to play THD games? They have succeed on motorola defy which is not far away than our beloved galaxy??
I can install and use it but I can't install THD games .apk

only few HD can be played in SGA.
i have tried Asphalt only

r u talking about asphalt 5 hd if yes can u provide me wit the apk and sdcache

I'm talking about THD games, from the Tegra zone.
I saw on youtube that chainfire provide the nvidia plug in and also we can play to tegra games even if we have a qualcomm device.
It works on motorola defy so..

I'm able to install them, but FC when opening..
Fruit ninja THD just work until splash screen only

Great! Did you use chainfire 3D?? If not that's the solution ! Btw how did you install it , I 've always an issue 'application not installed'!

maybe because i'm using GB..?
but will try it using froyo..

I've been able to install backbreaker THD on my samsung galaxy ace and it's working very well with chainfire 3D nvidia plug in !! Very smooth no lag and beautiful graphics!! Dunno why i can't install the other thd games but i think that gingerbread update will fix this!

I installed the driver and the colours for my gallery became weird. Uninstalled the driver and got bricked, screen freeze at Samsung bootanimation and vibrates at intervals.

wtf you must use it only for tegra games but i never had semothing like that, have you tried to reboot in clockwordmod and then do a factory reset?

I am able to play Pin Ball THD on my Ace.. smooth and no lag... any other games can be plated ? tried Samurai II... does not work.......

yeah,.. updated to 2.3.4 may be that is the reason m able to play...

daydreamer have you tried to install guerrilla bob on 2.3.4 because it vibrates two times in game and shut down, give me your reply if you test it

Nopes That do not work... .. testing with more games.. but, Pin Ball work like we are using 1ghz device lol...

I think many game didn't work because of our arm6 processor..
because when I try to look at the THD game's apk, manys of them just contains arm7 lib..

but when I run the game I'm still getting half of the shaders missing...what am I doing wrong??

you need to first install the riptide shaders, then set the plug-in to nvidia. or at least that's what i did, and it's working perfectly for me.

I had this same issue. Had to uninstall chainfire3d then reinstall making sure to install the pro AFTER the free. Then install shaders and plugins and set tegra plugin for specific app riptide

Well i give up...tried everything to get this game to work...i even updated busybox...
Black screen and then back to homescreen ...tried shaders...nothing works

Full game or the demo? For me the demo didn't work, bought the full game to see if it made a difference, plays great with no issues.

Yes it was the demo ....chainfire said the demo doesn't work ...that will teach me for being a cheap skate lol

[Q] Flick Golf! or Flick Games

Hi, as I checked google play "Flick Golf!" is compatible with SGY, however once I loaded the game - the screen just shows a black display with sound, I tried using chainfire 3D with PowerVR still same issue, did anyone able to run this game without any problems? If yes, please guide me on how to set it up. Thanks

Some games in google play are seen on the phone even if it isnt compatible. Take for example Temple Run Brave, Max Payne, and a lot of others.
And as for the link, WCH version has been playable on SGY ages ago (CF3D Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm, and of course phone must be rooted.), even back when 2.3.6 update wasnt even released yet.

thanks for the response, however I did try playing w/ the settings with no avail, I already exhausted chainfire3d and swapper 2, same issue, tried using a glitch by reloading screen via task manager and same result, guess we can't make it work, but its weird as it shows in google play that its compatible with our device lol - im off to send a ticket to the developer instead - MOD kindly close this thread, thanks

[Q] run nova 3 full graphics with out C3D

Can I run nova 3 full graphics without Chainfire 3d?
After I installed Chainfire 3D, stop the black screen
I also use the plug-in but it isn't work
What should I do can fix this problem?
is it has DeviceConfig.xml like asphalt7 ?

It runs by default with high graphical settings. If not, try with a custom rom and custom kernel

All nova series are compatible with adreno 320. Are we talking about original game,bought from market or hacked apps?If it's the second option,it will be ignored.

Even if is a hacked app the game will run with high graphics without chainfire 3d

Yes,but we are not allowed to talk warez.If the game appears as compatible with your device on playstore, it means you can play it without any problems. There could be one issue,if your phone has hardware problems.

No.
Nova 3 is setting the settings automatically depending on the native display resolution and SOC/GPU.
There is no way you can change it, except with Chainfire 3D and this does not work on Jelly Bean.
But Nova 3 already runs on High on the Optimus G. The only effect that is missing is depth of field.
