Flashable version! modem_CWM_Rogers_i747M.zip
Nice I did the same for bell, but the baseband is the same. Weird as I thought this device supports bell dual cell hspa+ which rogers doesn't have.
Anyways its attached.
How about someone putting a version of the at&t version if we need to flash back. Also anyone tested these modems to see if it allows you to goto the network settings and choose wcdma ie 4g 3g it lte etc.

Thank you for this! Any chance you can do a stock flashable Bell rom too?

The rogers and bell versions both allow you to specify the order for GSM, HSPA, and LTE.
Here are the menu from my *#2263#* service mode. The problem is, my phose is not unlocked ans I don't have the sim card to try the other frequencies and see if the antenna can actually connect to these frequencies.
With my i9000m I was able to chose WCDMA 900 which was not supported by the phone.

i have i747m bell Galaxy S3. I want to use my Fido Sim on it. Will it unlock it or is it different procedure ?
Is it safe to do so? I dont want to brick my phone. Thanks
It won't unlock your phone by flashing the radio unfortunately. Shouldn't cause a brick though.

The Telus Version shows I747MVLLE8 as the Baseband Version as well.
Also for SIM unlock you can probably search eBay and get it for about $15. I unlocked my Telus phone to work on Rogers.
would the rogers modem work for att model?
I was told that LTE toggling depends on the ROM, not the modem.

Hi, my phone is originally Rogers but I had flashed over to an AT&T ROM. Would flashing this brick me phone or would it be okay? Thanks in advance!

They unlock the SG3 for $US 7.99. I unlocked mine and it works like a charm :good:

mine is locked to bell and they charge 33$ way to expensive.
did anyone actually try to flash this ZIP? it doesn't seem to actually work from CWM as it is not changing the baseband on my AT&T unit.
Like I said in the full dump thread, I don't think this is a modem dump. This was dumped using instructions for the international model which probably has a different partition layout.

We can get the modem.bin file from the Rogers ODIN package but how do we flash it?
Odin will not allow flashing a different model radio, so DD or a CWM zip will work (or mobile Odin once released for our model).

hey guys just wondering if it is possible to flash at&t GS3 roms on tmobile GS3 roms. i heard you could but just wanted to confirm it.
You can. Just DON'T flash any modems from there.
If I'm not mistaken, you can flash any ROM from any of the US variants. Not everything will work right, but it works.

Yes sir you can flash ATT. Everything works fine.
On the T-Mobile version
No I don't think so. We can flash n7105 roms because ours is the same as that one.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda premium
The n7105 is the internation lte version right? I dont have a note2 but im thinking about trading my s3 that is less than a month old for a note2.
I hear that here in the us all of the note2 have the same hardware which means that you can flash roms from other carriers note2 and your tmobile radio and your good to go? We can do this on the s3 from att only change the names from d2att to d2tmo. but to flash a verizon/sprint rom we need to do some changes. How about on the note2? and as you said you can flash roms from the international note2 lte right?
Can you use a T-Mobile ROM on an ATT Note 2 device using T-Mobile sim?

The Note II on T-Mobile, and AT&T are very similar. I have tried this in the past with a different phone, and had success, I would recommend making a backup if you consider trying it.

I have run att roms on the tmobile variant so it should work the other way. don't flash modems from that phone though
Hello,
Recently my friend gave me a T-mobile S4 which I successfully unlock using this ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283068 )method. I aslo was able to install Chaos (universal) ROM and seems to be working fine, but I have a few questions.
Can I install an ATT ROM/Radio or I need to stick to universal ROMs?
Can I lose unlock status if I upgrade the radio?
TIA!
Anyone?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I've never tried ATT ROMs and haven't seen much mention of them in this forum, but I know i9505 ROMs usually work if the developer hasn't put specific device checks in the updater-script. I would guess ATT ROMs will work as well. You may need to flash a T-Mobile kernel though. Radios that are not specific to your device should not be flashed.

Why would you want an ATT Rom or radio? The Tmobile radio package supports more frequencies than the AT&T version. I am currently using my M919 on an AT&T mvno and my girlfriend has the I337 (AT&T S4) so Ive switched sims around on both and could find no significant difference.
