[Q] Flash To Cricket?

Ok, so I have an Epic 4G phone and I have it flashed on Cricket in San Diego.
from what I understand one I put 2.2 on it, I will have to get it re-flashed. I don't really have the money to reflash it and would REALLY love to put 2.2 on my phone wether it is a mod or retail...
My question is, I'm not really following how to flash it to Cricket. Can somebody that is extremely bored and has time give me a hand and explain it or show me a guide or something please?
Also, is the 2.2 version flashable to Cricket? Should I use a modded version or the sprint version?
And does anybody know how I can get MMS on this phone working? lol even with my original flash to cricket nobody was able to get MMS working...
I don't know if this is the right place to post/ask this, so if not just delete/move the question, but I'd appreciate the help.
Thank you!!
David
Ok, I finally got the search to work and found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780742
Is this still valid and will it work for 2.2?
that shouldnt change when you upgrade to 2.2... as far as MMS should be as simple as mmsc settings..
mms apn settings
Name: Cricket
APN: internet
MMSC: http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms?X-Cricket-MDN=XXX_XXX_XXXX
(the XXX_XXX_XXXX = your phone number (MDN not MIN))
MMS port: 8080
MMC: 310
MNC: 004

I cant believe my post has been completely ignored and I was under the impression that this is where the experts hung out!
Your right it is but this is not a support forum. You gave no real info like rom, radio or kernel info to help you. All these things matter.

Tmobile T889 with Updated LTE firmware on ATT Service

Hello fellow XDA members. I decided to open up a new thread to help my fellow t889 users who have At&t service. I had gotten so much help in the past why not pay it foward?
I was currently on Tweaked ROM and read lots of info on how to flash the new firmware for Tmobile LTE without loosing my current apps and info. Here are the steps that i took to get my LTE working. Thank you deeznutz1977 for providing the download file!
1. Download new firmware file here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByasRfzCE6nRNHg4by1BRlZ3clE/edit?pli=1 (make sure you download and flash this file. I dont know if just flashing the radio will work or not.)
2. Make sure you have Mobile Odin Pro or buy from play store
3. Open up mobile odin pro and open the tar file you just downloaded.
4. Flash and after reboot you should still have your settings and apps. Just make sure that you check about device and that you did indeed install the new baseband version. T889UVBMB4
**note** if you are on a custom touchwiz rom you will lose it but all your settings apps and info will still be there. If you use kies you will have to reroot your phone. Mobile Odin Pro allows you to keep everything intact so i recommend that app.

ill try your apn settings and report back.
---------- Post added at 04:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:55 PM ----------
that apn doesn't work, i get no data at all. im going to try to get a new sim today. i also heard they may need to take off lte and readd it for it to stick.
Leave the apn settings and try *#2263#
There should be a menu for auto, wcdma, gsm, lte..... try going into LTE and pick band 17 and see if you pick up service... it should be on automatic.. if it is, try it and see anyway...

Just want to reply that I flashed just the modem from the new firmware and can confirm connection to LTE Band 17. I've yet to try speedtests but the behavior is definitely different than the previous radio. If it turns out to be true, FINALLY!!!!

Just to confirm, all I need to do is find the AT&T Modem and flash? Is the file on the original post updated with the AT&T Modem or is it stock T-Mobile firmware, if so which modem does it come it?
Thanks!
last couple of days on LTE has been great. I hope everyone is getting the same benefits I'm getting.

Is there anything special about this rom? I Mean I flashed a stock root injected rom with the latest OTA LTE Is enabled. however I cannot get LTE service on ATT.
Account has Dataplan wih LTE
Have a LTE SIM.
Can select different bands with the *#2263#, nothing will not register on ATT LTE network HSPA works.
So what gives? how are you able to get LTE?
And yes my area supports ATT LTE
Update: flashed this rom, nothing still won't connect to ATT LTE.
Im on jdevils rom and just flashed the modem with mobile odin. Put the apn in and getting nice speeds in GA area.
Roughly 10mb in house, 30mb down when out of house.
Posted this in another thread.

I have been trying to achieve att lte on the sgh-t889 for quite some time now. I have the current lte sim card, have tried multiple apn settings as well as being on the current modem. any help to achieve this would help me out greatly. Thanks for your time.
Try this apn.

I have been using this but am only getting hspa+ data speeds. Are you receiving lte speeds? if so do you mind showing a speedtest.net screenshot? Thanks for the help.
I'll post one when i get out of work(not able to carry phone in my job). It shows the lte signal on my phone. when i'm out of an lte area the signal goes away and displays 4g. but dl/ul speed were in the 5d/1up mb range. once i used the apn, it jumped to 20mb down 10 up depending where i am.
