Hi
I recently purchased a Galaxy Note 2 N1705 on ebay and when I try connecting it to my PC the driver does not successfully install and it says "qualcomm cdma technologies msm" driver not found. I've tried looking for this driver but no luck. I run windows 7 64 bit. Can anyone help me with this please.
Many thanks
You're in the wrong forum first off, secondly this phone has known issues with USB drivers.

Do you have USB debugging checked in development options? If you have, uncheck it and try again.
If you're using a kernel with fast charge make sure it is disabled.

I have a T999 S3, my husband has an AT&T i747 S3 and my friend has a L710 from Sprint. My husband and my friend want their s3's rooted with the Root66/odin method. Do I need separate drivers for each phone or can I use the drivers that are already on my computer for my T999? (running Win7 64 bit)
Same drivers. But don't you dare use the SGH-T999 root66 on those other phones.
Yup, I know! I've seen way too many 'I bricked my phone' threads here. If people would just take a few minutes to read. . .

according to websites I've read it does.
but a while back before I upgraded to the OG, i bought a generic OTG cable for my HOX, it worked there, but when I tried it on my friend's OG it didn't work on the mice ans flash drives we tried.
i guess we'll have to wait for the others here to chip in their experiences.
or you could go try one in a local store and see if it works.

There are about 4 or 5 threads about usb otg. So please use google before opening new threads.
Btw. no its not working. Usb otg is kernel related, so we must wait untill anyone of the devs implement it.
You can use sixaxis app with ps3 controller, that works.
I am considering getting the Note 2, but have never owned a Samsung phone before. I have a Macbook pro as my only computer and just wanted to know if their Samsung software works on a Mac and whether I can flash ROMs using my Mac instead of a Windows PC? I currently have an LG phone and this has been an issue
