SGS3 Modded TouchWiz3
Hi everybody,
I am presenting to you my Ultra Modded TouchWiz3 Launcher.
If you like S3 Taste, don't hesitate to try it! It looks like 90% like the real SGS3 Launcher.
The Launcher also comes with Extra features as well.
Note : I have used my own guide for making such modifications!

Installation :
Put the ZIP on the root of your SD Card.
Boot on CWM
Install ZIP from SD Card.
Choose desired file.
Wait for installation finish.
Reboot & done

Or you can also take TouchWiz30Launcher.apk from the ZIP and place it on /system/app and give right permissions using root explorer.
Download TouchWiz3 Launcher
CAUTION :
This works only on deodexed systems! Also, make sure you have a secondary launcher in case if anything goes wrong.

Is your system deodexed?
If yes,do this :
1.Copy the apk from the zip.
2.Go to /system/app
3.Delete your TouchWiz30Launcher.apk
4.Paste the new touchwiz30launcher.apk
5.Give right permission.
6.Reboot.

No it's not i'm using XXMC1 firwmare i asked someone to deodexed in the thread "No question is noobish here" nobody wants to deodexed on that firmware. :/

That's the problem. You should have deodexed ROM in order to install it. You can deodex it by yourself. It's easy. Use xUltimate 2.3. There are many guides fpr deodexing

It will work. Follow the instructions for installing.

Steps to change the touchwiz
1.download the files below
2.using root browser backup your systemui.apk and touchwiz30launcher.apk along with their odex files
3.copy the downloaded files to the system app folder(don't forget to remove odex files)
4.set permission to rw-r-r and reboot your phone
5.while replacing systemui.apk error may come just force close it and replace and reboot
6.do keep a nandroid backup.
7.And for the icon pack go to recovery and update it from sdcard.
8.Reboot enjoy

i uninstalled the systemui.apk and installed the original one because when i connect my phone to my computer via usb instead of USB connected it displays ringer volume on the notification bar. so can i install the icstheme without install your systemui.apk?

hi there i'm new to the forums and i really like the system pull down thingy, can i just install this rather than the whole package if u know what i mean, just the pull down menu thingy as it looks like the s2 lol many thanks. btw i have 2.3.6 rooted s5830i with xxld3.

The widget will only work with TW-UX Launcher which you will find here

copy touchwiz.xml and vtmanager_library.xml to system/etc/permissions
copy twframework.jar and twframework-res.apk to system/framework
copy 3 widget files to system/app
(you can also install them as normal app after copying other files and rebooting)

Follow the instructions but im unable to get it working.
The widgets are not showing up in widgets, so im unable to drag and drop it on my desktops. Please give me some help

Dude I know it works on TW ux but it's not working on the newer version of the launcher found in the link in my previous post. I tried installing it and it just gave me "problem loading widget" message.

try with the framework files attached (you know the instructions)
its working for me fluently on the new version of TW

still the same problem
Doh, I made a copy of my clockpackage (well, renamed it), flashed the zip, and the apk is corrupt (can't be passed). I tried copying manually, but it fails. Only happens on this apk file as can copy others in fine. Now I can't get my old one back either....
EDIT: Turns out my system rom was full (only 200k remaining). I removed a couple of frozen system apps and it appeared copied fine

Why did you decide that I will make the keyboard port? I do not see anything useful in the S3 keyboard to deal with it...

It keeps saying reading logs please wait but the screen stays blank

I have already tried a lot of custom mms.apks successfully but I don't know why this one is not working at all
Followed your instructions using system app installer but its not working... in fact after installation I can't see mms icon in my launcher's app section.

Just extract the apk from the zip and copy it to system/app. Fix permissions and reboot. Make sure the permissions match the original accuweather1013.apk. I did this using root Explorer because I'm on Verizon and we have root but can't flash anything.

When I try to flash through twrp it just says failed, tried many times as well. When I also try to unzip it to put the apk in system/app, it says file corrupt.

Edit: I figured out what the problem was, I checked the size of the file and it was 18kb, for some reason whenever I try to download it from my phone it gets corrupted. I downloaded form my pc and everything worked fine

This looks really good. I agree it's done right. I hope you can get it to work on Nova eventually. For now I use Weather Bug Elite on Nova. It has a decent transparent widget
