SGIII "Real accu weather signed"

Hi Guys , i mod the PaWill' s Touchwiz UX to support S3 Weather widget on our gio , Ace
Work only on ICS Roms!
ok so let's start
Install instructions:
Copy all the files to your sd card
first
take the system.zip unpack it (the system need touchwiz framework ...)
copy all the files to the respective directory and Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot
install like normal apk :
1-seclauncher2_Signed.apk (for some reason i don't understand you must copy launcher to system and this file http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?92oc5y90079bwsb to Lib don't forget to Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot ,i try to resolve this bug)
2-AccuweatherDaemon_Signed.apk
3-AccuweatherWidget_Main_Signed.apk
4-AccuweatherWidget_Signed.apk
for better size download :
LCD Density Modder Free on market
and change the dpi to 145 if you do that you need replace the phone.apk with this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1117511&d=1339249323 Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot

Dude I tryed this but it says problem loading widget n then launcher restarts n can't find the widget anymore .......I read somewhere else that web have to put those 3 accuweather apks in system/app????????

no you just have to put Seclauncher to system
the other can be intall like normal apk try an tell me if it work

yes you must replace the launcher with mine (i change the shared user id )
i port the launcher for mdpi device i adjust it for ace but you can try with gio

Can I use the Phone apk in this post in 2.3.6, just for the sake of modding DPI without Phone App FC afterwards? Is it compatible to 2.3.6 or do I have to change to ICS?

Hmm... I´ve done it the way you told... but now my ace isn´t starting anymore but restarts in recovery everytime. So I have to delete them again... Somebody can make a flashable zip for me? Thank u

The widget will only work with TW-UX Launcher which you will find here

copy touchwiz.xml and vtmanager_library.xml to system/etc/permissions
copy twframework.jar and twframework-res.apk to system/framework
copy 3 widget files to system/app
(you can also install them as normal app after copying other files and rebooting)
set permissions of each file to rw-r-r

Follow the instructions but im unable to get it working.
The widgets are not showing up in widgets, so im unable to drag and drop it on my desktops. Please give me some help

Work well on CM10 (semafore 2.0.6) with touchwiz launcher. Is this from last JB leak for S3?..
Any plans for more portings?..(last night i deodexed the last S3JB if you need something tell me)

i cant make it work...i have x-bean rom and installed this via recovery and the widget doesnt show up...what am i suppose to do?

install it manually and it works with tw ux only

Dude I know it works on TW ux but it's not working on the newer version of the launcher found in the link in my previous post. I tried installing it and it just gave me "problem loading widget" message.

try with the framework files attached (you know the instructions)
its working for me fluently on the new version of TW

im on cm10 with android 4.1.2 and the widget says Problem Loading Widget

I have already tried a lot of custom mms.apks successfully but I don't know why this one is not working at all
Followed your instructions using system app installer but its not working... in fact after installation I can't see mms icon in my launcher's app section.

Thanks it's working fine . Just copy new mms.apk to sd card then open system folder by root explorer system/app delete old mms.apk replace it new mms.apk thats it.

Installation :
Put the ZIP on the root of your SD Card.
Boot on CWM
Install ZIP from SD Card.
Choose desired file.
Wait for installation finish.

Or you can also take TouchWiz30Launcher.apk from the ZIP and place it on /system/app and give right permissions using root explorer.

CAUTION :
This works only on deodexed systems! Also, make sure you have a secondary launcher in case if anything goes wrong.

Is your system deodexed?
If yes,do this :
1.Copy the apk from the zip.
2.Go to /system/app
3.Delete your TouchWiz30Launcher.apk
4.Paste the new touchwiz30launcher.apk
5.Give right permission.
6.Reboot.

No it's not i'm using XXMC1 firwmare i asked someone to deodexed in the thread "No question is noobish here" nobody wants to deodexed on that firmware. :/

That's the problem. You should have deodexed ROM in order to install it. You can deodex it by yourself. It's easy. Use xUltimate 2.3. There are many guides fpr deodexing

Delete APK and its .odex file that gives error ( Email gives error though )

It will work. Follow the instructions for installing.

Download it and copy to system/priv-app using any root explorer app and set RW-R-R permission reboot
Or using adb type
adb remount rw
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/priv-app
adb shell chmod 644 /system/priv-app/SystemUI.apk
adb reboot
Replacing apk is enough just gave .odex file also

You can share the apk.
We can just push it and set correct permissions, and it should work.

yeah dont worry i will flood the moto e with my mods iam new to xda (i use it but dont comment or write posts etc)

I think i need to use a smali in order to get that battery % to the side of battery but can anyone confirm that there will be no chance of brick if i deodex the rom using kitchen and install it ?? ive made a backup of my rom already just to be safer side

You can take a nandroid backup of your current setup to your external sd card, using twrp. After that you can do all you want to do with your rom without worrying about what can screw up. :good:

Ive deodexed apps but cant find smali folder
none of the apktool working they always gives error so iam using virtuous studio but when i decompile it wont show smali what should be done?

Yea.. I am too facing that error.. apk dont decompile fully... it runs of errors...

I am deodexing the system will tell the results soon and even compiling decompiling is also too complex and adb root commands need adb insecure app but we can use adb root apps in power off mode but all other options like adb reboot reboot recovery works fine
