Change the custom Backlight settings in display to have 2 settings one on all 0 and one at 100 and then put it into auto bright and lock phone till deep sleep and turn on and there you go

oh i was completely confused by your thread. But in aokp i believe you have to create a shortcut to it on your home screen. In CM10 its under advanced in the settings menu.
Sorry i cant remember, i dont use aokp.
In AOKP JB, the easiest option is to go to settings, device options, sensors, and uncheck "enable keys backlight."

[Q] Disable USB charging

I was wondering how I can disable USB charging since I use my E4GT to tether wifi to my computer.
I know there is an option, but what is the dialer code?

Dial in ##3282#. edit, and enter MSL. After that just click on "USB charging". It should have an enable or disable option. Being on a different ROM might be located else where though.
Thank you. I just couldn't remember the dialer code, now I can disable it.
I was getting tired of being asked to tether my phone... I didn't want to get the battery bulge.

Stop screen when charging

Some AOSP roms and the Tweaked rom give you the option to disable the screen from coming on when the phone is put on and taken off the charger. Is there a way to stop the screen from coming on with a simple edit to something with the Jedix19 rom?

[Q] WiFi Power Saving opt out

I have searched and not found the changes needed so I'm posing the question here:
Is there any way we can have the WiFi power saving feature turned off as a default when using the stock rooted galaxy s4 rom?
What needs to be changed/done to achieve this? Simple?
Thanks!
Go into your settings, Wifi, press the menu button, advanced, then set Keep Wifi on During Sleep to Always.

Not sure about the USSD code since I'm on a modified kernel but I am assuming you can turn it off from the menu as well. Set it to off if you can and then reboot and open the menu and see if that setting sticks. Just curious, how is the power savings mode affecting you? If there is something specific, let me know.
