So I have a slight problem. I have the SGH-T889 version of the Galaxy Note 2 and have rooted my phone with the latest update. In rooting my phone I found an app called "Nobloat" that could delete some of those system apps that I never wanted. However my brother got ahold of my phone and went straight for Touch wiz and deleted that. After that the phone wouldn't go to home and I tried to do everything to undo that deletion. I pulled out the battery for a hard reset and hoped that this Nobloat app wasn't as good as it was in deleting any app (it was). The phone booted up and was stuck at the T- Mobile load screen. I did a factory reset and it gave me some mobility but Touch wiz was gone and I was luckily able to go to the Google Store and attach a launcher so that my phone would have some mobility. However some system functions are acting weird still
How do I get Touchwiz Back to my Galaxy Note 2.

Did not work for me either. On all previous phones and roms I used the market would automatically start downloading and reinstalling my apps the first time I opened it. This neither happened at first use nor after the complete wipe after I rooted my nexus. Don't know what's up with that. All relevant options are set and checked. That being said the same thing happened when I flashed ics onto my htc sensation. No restore.

I ran across an inquiry somewhere that said it only works the first time you use the phone-apparently once you've registered a new device to your google account it doesn't offer to restore a second time even if you've wiped the phone. I wonder if you change the phones name in build.prop if you could trick it that way.
I have the verizon galaxy nexus and i somehow accidentally uninstalled nfc.. Last month i tried installing one of the hacked google wallet ports for the nexus. I installed it through the clockwork recovery, and made sure to make a backup before doing this. That version of google wallet didnt work right, so i just deleted it with root explorer. When i found out that google wallet can now be installed from the market, i immediately downloaded it to try it out, but every time i tried to open it, it would get an error. So i went to my backup and attempted to copy the old nfc files back to the system folder (i/e: NfcGoogle.apk and com.android.nfc_extras.jar), but that failed to work.
So any ideas on how to fix this and get nfc working again?
Im kinda new to android as a whole, this phone is my first smartphone. Im hoping this is a simple fix and i dont have to to a factory restore or anything. My phone is rooted too if that helps, and I still have the google wallet files i intalled too.
The attachment is a screenshot of what my wireless and networks menu looks like.
Any help is appreciated
"Secure Element Not Responding" ?
If that's the case, sorry, you need a new phone.
You shouldn't have installed any hacked Google Wallet in CWM.
It said that when I had the nfc files from the hacked google wallet..but with the old files it just says "unfortunately, wallet has stopped" ..and I know that now, at the time I just found the easiest guide to follow for installing it though.

Damn
Sorry man, you borked NFC.
You might be able to use it again by flashing back to stock images, but you won't be able to use Google Wallet again, that's for sure.
If you can, try to get an exchange
Huh oh well , I guess ill just give up on using nfc..its not too important to me. Its just too bad I won't be able to use a feature of the phone.
@samsuck Maybe I will flash the stock images sometime this weekend and see if that fixes anything..hopefully it will bring back at least some nfc functionality. Oh and I'm pretty sure its too late for me to exchange phones 0.o

He clearly stated what he did, and that he used an old method that caused harm to a lot of phones. That's not it.

Try flashing back to stock using the google image.
Has anybody tried uninstalling some of the stock apps with either TB or root explorer? Wondering how much of the junk apps is okay to remove.
I removed everything that started with Samsung minus the keyboard. And everyrhing that started with at&t. Along with apps I knew I wouldnt use ever

There's an option in setting / applications / running to effectively freeze apps without rooting. I did it to nearly all the bloatware. I don't see them in the nebu now.

You need some of the samsung stuff because of the heavy customizations to the phone and s-pen support. I froze, using titanium backup pro, most of the at&t stuff, I think I only left the smart wifi thing, automatically connecting to at&t and well known popular hot spots sounded ok to me. I think i froze the kies stuff. But left most of the Samsung stuff.
I would love to see a list of what's safe to freeze and why.

Noob here and I too froze all the ATT stuff like ekerbuddyeker said using the aplication mngr., Now my question is does this help with them running in the backround i.e. battery life?? This is my first Android device came from ios.
When you disable them and delete their cache, it makes them not a running process whatsoever. Unfortunately, none of the stock apps run in the background, so you will see no noticable difference by disabling them (minus the fact everything looks cleaner)
I removed all the AT&T apps. Don't notice any difference in performance, but I do like not having those apps around. Didn't mess with the Samsung apps yet as this is my first Samsung phone and wasn't sure what all the S pen uses.
So, set up my new tab pro 12.2 last night. This morning it seems like it is still downloading stuff.
When I look at data usage it looks like it has downloaded a total of 3G, about 2.25G just from google play store!
I know I don't have THAT many apps installed, and when I open the play store it doesn't look like it is doing anything.
Any ideas??
I got the 10.1 a few days ago. Today all of a sudden I got the same thing - but it was from the Samsung app store. It was all the Hanson office suite program files. I thought it was odd, myself.

Same here. Got new 10 in. yesterday and got it from both ends. Samsung downloaded a bunch of stuff then Google updated all the gapps crap b4 I got in to turn off auto update. After I play with it awhile, I will factory restore, TWRP recovery, and get rid of a bunch of bloat. I didn't sign up on the Samsung apps yet. Don't know if I want another user I'd to track. I rooted already. Am going to install Xposed framework.

For a new Tab after unboxing and setup is that normal, Google play will update all apps to the newest version.
After this update disable the autoupdate check by all google apps, so Google will ask you for the update.
If you make a factory reset or full wipe it will this do again.
For Samsung apps, this will only update if you create a Samsung account.
Delete your SAM account.
If you don't let it connect to wifi, you can turn off autoupdate, then login.
