[Q] Galaxy S4 S Health Not working - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hi Everyone:
I bought my galaxy s4 last Friday. Whenever I try to use S Health, I always get the error message "Unfortunately, S health has stopped working".
I did a factory reset, still had a problem.
I called up Samsung, they told me to clear the cache and data.
Didn't work. Still had the error message.
They told me to do a soft reset -- Didn't work. Still had the error message.
They told me to take it back to T-mobile for a replacement.
I took it back to T-mobile, switched it and got another (TWICE). Had to leave immediately due to work.
It had the same issue.
I contacted samsung...told me to do a factory reset. Still problem is still there.
Anyone have any ideas of what to do? This is already my third galaxy S4.

i had the same problem

I had Samsung multi window manager app installed. Once I went in that and disabled multi window for s-health it started working. Hope this helps.

Did you update the app? Also did you freeze anything that the app may use?

Thanks mucho! The Multi-Window hack I had installed was the problem. I disabled it and all is right with the world.
Now I have to re-install the update for this app...

[Q] Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped

I keep getting "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped" over and over and over. This happens no matter what I am doing and first thing when I reboot the phone.
I also keep getting Unfortunately Play Store has Stopped.
Every time I start the Play Store I get on of those 2 errors so I can't launch the Play store at all.
Phone has been fine for weeks and then all of sudden this started today. No new app, it just came out of nowhere.
I have 2 HTC One V's both are running CM9. Both were set up weeks ago and both were done exactly the same way. Mine is fine, the wife's is having that issue.
I have tried disabling sync. Removing and re-adding my account. Clearing the cache. Fixing permissions. Removing a few apps. Some other minor things I don't recall. Nothing helps.
Any ideas?
Re install the Rom,or do a factory reset...but its better to reflash the Rom
It'll fix the errors I guess

Thank you for your help , however I was hoping there was a solution short of doing a full wipe. Is there nothing else I can try?
And more importantly what caused this and what is to stop it from coming back after a wipe? I don't want to go through all that just to have to do it again next week.
...Ok, well I have re-installed the OS and then re-installed/set up all my apps and settings.
So far so good. Hopefully the issue won't come back.

[Q] "Unfortunately NFC Service Has Stopped" Sprint Rooted S3

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) on Sprint running Android version 4.3.
Whenever I start many apps that uses Google Services (Camera, Google Play, Gmail) I get this error message: "Unfortunately NFC Service Has Stopped"
Google Wallet works just fine.
I have already tried the JMJellybeanWalletFix.zip from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48107022&postcount=17
and NFCFix.zip:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32029713&postcount=8367
The first ZIP file fixed Google Wallet so that it would work... And it still works after the 2nd ZIP... But I keep getting that blasted error message.
I have also already done a factory wipe twice trying to get this to work. (Including dalvik and cache wiping)
I am out of ideas, and can not seem to find any helpful information. So please help.

[Q] Yet another "Unfortunately, S Note has stopped" thread after 4.3 update!

[Q] Yet another "Unfortunately, S Note has stopped" thread after 4.3 update!
I read all the topics for this issue, tried all the suggestions except factory resetting. However, some people said this even doesn't work. I can bring and open the S Note back somehow, but every time I click to 'productivity tools' S Note crashes. I wonder when Samsung will address this issue?

[Q] Cant get rid of "Phone: HBPCG" popup

So last night I flashed dottat's RUU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...nt/ruu-vzw-kitkat4-4-3-sense-6-s-off-t2867643) to update my phone to 4.4.3 stock. Usually when I run the stock rom, I try to get rid of all the verizon bloat garbage using root app delete and root browser. Maybe this time I got a little overzealous, because I most recently deleted two system apps: verizon location app, and the verizon cloud sync app. Before I did this, everything seemed to run fine. But after getting rid of those two, everything went haywire. Every few seconds my phone app would crash and it would give me the message that "unfortunately, com.android.phone has crashed"and the display kept flickering on and off. Also, I keep getting a poppup for an app called Phone: HBPCG Current Country" telling me I have not input my country, and asks me to select one from a blank list. After trying a few things, I went into TWRP to wipe the cache and dalvik. Fortunately, that seems to have cleared up the com.phone process from crashing every 10 seconds or so. But I still keep getting asked to select a country from "HBPCG Current Country". Has anybody experienced this or does anybody know how to stop it, maybe by deleting another service? I can't remember ever seeing a "verizon location reporting" app in 4.4.2 so I figured it was more garbage that verizon added to the ROM as needless bloat, and didn't think it would affect other phone services.
Thanks for any help on this, it's really irritating me. If I can't get it resolved I figure I might have the run the RUU again.
I should probably also mention that after wiping the caches, I got the "android is upgrading" bit when I rebooted and it said it was optimizing 67 apps. I'm not sure what that was for since I didn't flash any updates or anything, but I figure maybe recaching some system info since I ripped out so much system bloatware?
Now that santod released stock 4.4.3 debloated you should just flash that ROM instead. Sounds like less of a headache to just completely wipe and go from there.

Verizon Location WAS in fact in 4.4.2, and many services of the phone depend on it and won't function without it…
