[Q] Help cant get into cwm recovery ????? - HTC One X

why my phone said" this build is for developer purpose only do not distribute outside of thc without htc written permisim failure to comply may lead to legal action "?
It happened when I unlock with htc dev and flash a cwm recovery... and every time I want to go cwm it just show this massage????

Is it a S-off device with supercid?? What does the Bootloader say?
Your not able to boot into recovery? If your able to do so, then you should just ignore the message afaik!

Do you have a dual-core (evita) HTC one X ?
What's on top of the bootloader, does it say EVITA or ENDEAVORU ?

Yeah, I do it's the att version not the universal one..... so there is no way I would mess something up.

You are actually in the wrong forum, you have to be in the AT&T, rogers, HTC one XL forum. I don't have a link atm, but you defo will find your answer there. Seen it more over there

I thought I was successful until now, home button and search doesn't work also I cannot recieve any calls but I can make them. Also the phone doesn't appear on lockscreen. could you please point me to the right direction. I don't know what to do as I'm new to android.

Your lucky your not bricked.
I would download the latest stock eu ruu from the sticky titled shipped roms in the development section and run it from your pc with your phone plugged in.
If all goes good you'll be back on stock and all your phone functions should work again.
Post your results here, then i'll help you get root after you are successful.
Are you absolutely sure you have a wilfire s (marvel) and not the older wildfire (buzz)? What's your model number?
You are in the wrong forum. You have the older Wildfire (Buzz) and this is the forum for the Wildfire S (Marvel/MarvelC).
You need to go here:
HTC Buzz: Wildfire

No, read again. He has a Marvel and has used Revolutionary, not knowing that it is for Buzz. Revolutionary has installed a Buzz bootloader on his Marvel.
Op you are OUTRAGEOUSLY lucky your phone even responds to input. Flash an official RUU for Marvel and hope it works.
Though that's interesting... was the phone S-ON before you used Revolutionary on it?
HBOOT says it's S-OFF now. If you were to now flash an unlocked Marvel bootloader to your device you will have radio S-OFF and an unlocked device.

I understand you're full of questions but you seriously should use "Search" and Google.

Search is your friend
S-off allows you to write to partitions we can't normally. It will allow you to downgrade your bootloader and stuff like that. It doesn't void your warranty, in fact it helps keep it. Once you have unlocked your bootloader when you lock it again it says relocked, with s-off you can change it back to locked.
Your cid is your region/carrier Id. While your phone is s-on you can only flash ruus from your region/carrier. With s-off you can change to supercid which let's you flash from any region/carrier allowing you to debrand your phone

Just wanted to chime in about this S-off thing
Hi! I am a first time Android user. After reading threads here in XDA for months, I have come to realize that the more I learn, the more I know that I have got more that I can't understand. My HOX has a software number of 1.15.401.1 and I have learned that this software build is a demo/pre-release build which explains why I can't receive OTA updates despite checking for it everyday. I've been in touch with HTC about this but they can't answer me with a straight answer, to the point that they're actually advising me to wait for the update on the first quarter of 2013! Anyway, I am fed up with HTC and decided to take matters on my own(with your help, of course). Anyway, to put it simply, I am asking you on how to install a stock ROM for my phone. How do I know the correct RUU for my phone that I should download(I am in the Philippines)? What are the tools I need to get/download? What are the words I need to type in cmd.exe? Etc. Anyway, some info I know about my phone are these: my phone is S-Off, I have a CID of 11111111, it is unrooted, I never touched on that 'unlock bootloader' thingy on HTDev. Also, I am providing some screenshots from my phone if it can help my my issue. I hope you can help me guys. And if you're going to teach me, feel free treat me like a 5th grader. Thanks!

What does those values mean?

how do I install it on my phone though?
Download it, run it, connect the phone when prompted. Make sure you have Sync Manager installed first for the drivers...

nope its atnt phone unlocked
So your bootloader says ENDEAVORU on the top....I'm asking this to be sure you are in the right place because if it is an EVITA you might brick your phone by flashing stuff from here
how would i check?
Power down the phone and then hold the power button and the volume - button together until it starts and boots into the bootloader menu
it says evita pvt ship s-on rl
oh and it also says locked in pink

As my hunch was right, you need to go to the one x xl forum. Its the forum one above my marked HTC one x forum
Although the flashing methods may not be so different, just want you to go to the forum where you belong
Good luck there mate !

There are two "One X" phones, and they are completely different. This was a ****ing stupid idea, but there you have it.
One is based on the quad core Tegra 3, codenamed Endeavoru, the other a dual core Snapdragon, called Evita.
This forum is for Endeavoru.

[Q] Bootloader stuck on relock, can't install recovery

My phone got stuck in a boot loop, so I put it in fastboot and relocked the bootloader so I could use the RUU, everything went well, except now I can't unlock it again, have tried the HTCDev method many times, it says it's successful, but stays *** RELOCKED ***. If someone could help it'd be great, I can't install TWRP unless it's unlocked
I see you are looking at the Viper XL thread. What phone do you have ?
1: the EVITA (dualcore at&t htc one xl)
2: the ENDEVOURU (quadcore htc one X)
Stay in the specific device forum.

[Q] HTC One X S-off Problem

Hi everybody. I have i serious problem with my One x. I need to get s-off but I can not.I have already installed custom rom.recovery.unlock the bootloader. but still s-on and I need s-off but how ? thank you.
Firstly, do you have the HTC One X (Endeavor) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?
Secondly, you need to provide way more information than that. Why can't you get s-off? What have you tried? What happened when you tried? What ROM is installed? What are your bootloader details? Which recovery is installed? You need to answer all questions, be as detailed and specific as possible, and provide any other information that might be relevant.

Unfortunately you're in the wrong section, this is the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita) section, they're different phones. Standby, I'll ask for a mod to move this to the HTC One X (Endeavor) section for you so that the people who own your device can help you.

Yes they will S-OFF your phone with signed java card. Yes if your phone is S-OFF you can put what you want for CID most of the S-OFF phone are with default one 11111111.
Why you need S-OFF? YOU can't use all the advantage of S-OFF We have few developers and they work to give as KitKat and now Lolipop what more you want you have multiRom wich give you the posibility to have more then one rom you have kernel flasher wich give posipility to install roms and kernels without PC, why you need S-OFF?
