[Q] Stuck on Fastboot - still after RUU - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there!
i got a weird acting wildfire Buzz in front of me.
What i got: Wildfire buzz in stock - locked bootloader, s-on. HTC Sense
always starts to fastboot!
boots up fine on command - fastboot boot
+- keys does not work at all in hboot or fastboot menu!
vol + - buttons acting fine in system
start recovery via ADB - red triangle - no recovery
------------------------------------------------------------
what i did
unlocked bootloader with revolutionary
flashed clockworkmod v5.0.2.0 for buzz (recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-buzz.img) and even tried the one which came with revolutionary.
What works in Recovery now: i can move cursor up/down with +- keys.
when i press power it shows up the hat but nothing else happens (no wipe, no restore and nothing else!)
so i searched for about 2 days in the net and found "Hey just use RUU and you will be fine!"
so i did .. still same as before.
i just had to reflash the recovery cause it was gone after RUU
My suggestion was now: Trackball/pad stuck (click does not seem to work in system)
so i opened my wildfire and disconnected the trackpad! (Yes i did that! )
-NOTHING CHANGED-
next suggestion
Volume keys might be stuck
so i removed them!
still running into fastboot mode (and volume keys didnt like to be removed - they dont work anymore in system after i put them back in place)
details to boot
(what i can see now)

FASTBOOT USB
from here i can remote control it from my computer to reboot, flas and so on .. but nothing with any keys like before.
not even power button does anything!
So i am at the end of what i can do.
Software totally new
and the Hardware tested as far as i can go.
any suggestions?

I download this rom from many sites and try it but result is same.
In RUU read me file they said that
Q: I used RUU to update and it failed. Now, my Android phone always boots in the RUU failed mode and cannot enter the Android Home screen anymore, what should I do?
A: This is normal and can be recovered. Follow the instructions below to reset your Android phone and to establish a connection with the PC.
1. Disconnect your Android phone from the USB cable.
2. Reset your Android phone (Remove and reinstall the battery).
3. Reconnect your Android Phone to the USB cable.
4. Check if the Android phone is recognized by the PC.
5. Return to the ROM Update Utility.
So please tell me any solution. I will be thankful to you.
With the phone OFF, can you press and hold the Vol - key, then at the same time, press and release the Power button? It should boot into a recovery menu.
Go get the latest ruu, wwe version and use that. You maybe might have to create a goldcard buy that's only if you get a Cid problem.

Yeah, when you said your "buttons" do not work, well, it leaves a lot to the imagination......
Can you goto Bootloader??? Or is it only when you get the white sceen of "almost death"?

I'm still newbie with Android, really appreciated it if someone can explain in detail and Helping me.
So just to repeat, I'm stuck in HBOOT with no button working!
And if there is a way to fix this with custom roms, and a guide on how to.. really appreciate it.

[Q] Stock Gingerbread Update results in Bootloop

Hi there!
Maybe this question was asked 100 times but I really searched and searched but dont found any solution for my problem.
I got a HTC Desire with stock froyo on it - no root - no CFW - just stock.
Phone sometimes doesnt boot. Just come to green HTC logo 1x vibrate and reboot. If this happens I pulled out the battery leave it alone for a hour pulled it back and it boots fine.
Because of this error I tried to fix it with latest dev update to gingerbread. Install went fine - succesful - reboot...
Since then im not able to acces the OS. It ALWAYS stucks at green HTC vibrate on time and reboot.
Damned. Tried to flash again via RUU - same ****. Tried to flash via SD - same ****.
I have acces to Hboot and fastboot but i think this doesnt help me anyway.
So please - if anyone has a solution how to fix my bootcycle problem - give me a hint.
---EDIT---
I dont know how but i have succesfully boot into GB. Immediatly I used revolutionary to get S-OFF. Done.
Now Phone looks like it boots normally. Strange thing if I enable WIFI and connect to some network it reboot and is not able to boot again. Always reboot at Welcome screen. Battery out - wait some time - battery in - booting - extremly fast disable wifi and it works normally.
SO... is my WIFI bricked? Is anything known about that matter. If yes - are there solutions???
Thanks
CRC
really - no one can help me
damned i think my desire has a heating problem. everytime i do something little bit intesiver work - like syncing, or inet surfing - my desire does a restart and could only be reachable after 20 min without plugged in battery.
strange
Throughout reading your problems, I immediately thought it was a hardware issue. Talk to HTC and see what they say.
Punched in..
oke i allready thought about something like that
just wanted it to confirm by someone else...
thank u

Hi all,
I have a rooted HTC Desire that is stuck in a bootloop. It gets to the HTC screen and that’s it. I tried to upgrade from a cyanogen MOD 7 to gingerbread 2.3 with the RUU I got from the HTC DEV site. Well actually the upgrade looked to be succesfull but when my phone rebooted I got this bootloop.
So now I tried to do a recovery but I only get the “apply update from sdcard” instead of “apply sdcard:update.zip”. When I try to do this update I get a “invalid operation” and the phone reboots. I also did a wipe of the cache and data.
When I try and connect with usb I can only see a driver being loaded after I switch to fastboot.
I tried “adb devices” but no device is seen. When I do the “fastboot devices” I get a serial.
I also tried the Revolutionary software to S-OFF but again I get the “waiting for device”. I tried with the HTC sync drivers, bootloader drivers with several laptops and pc’s.

I also tried with an other sdcard from a working Desire but I cannot get on the sdcard.
I tried to “mount” the sdcard again with 'fastboot oem enableqxdm 0' but no luck.
Please ask if more info is needed.

[Q]Completely unresponsive Desire

Hi everyone. My friends Desire seems to be completely dead. What we did:
- we s-offed desire with revolutionary
- we tried several ROMs with no problem
- the last ROM was the Sandvold ICS ROM
- in one day desire doesn't response - whatever you do it ends up in bootloader. Problem is, that we cannot use volume up and down to enter recovery or fastboot. We also wanted to reflash hboot by renaming it to PMG... with no success. It recognized the file in SD card and showed only - "PARSING" for more than half an hour. And nothing else. After taking battery out and power on again it shows only following:

It seems that the phone has broken navigation arrows (hardware) or something, because you cannot do nothing - if you want to power off the phone, you must take the battery out.
Do you have any idea what we can try? (I also made a golcard and I have working ADB - if necessary).
Many thanks for any reply.
It would seem the phone is hanging in bootloader which is not a very good sign. Some suggestions:-
- Let the phone cool down and try booting.
- Pull battery, start phone with back+power to go directly to fastboot. If it enters fastboot mode this way then there is hope.
- What hboot was in PB99IMG.zip? Was the md5 ok ? With hboot and radio there are no second chances. Did the problems occur after this procedure or before.

Thanks for quick answer. Unfortunately, phone didn't boot into fastboot after pressing BACK+POWER ... Yes, it was PB99IMG.zip. MD5 was for sure correct because I flashed this exact file several times before with success.
This problem occured before trying update hboot.
It looks like R.I.P. for Desire - isn't it?
The phone first boots the radio (modem processor) and thereafter the bootloader(hboot) (application pocessor). They both are the starting points. Without them booting successfully there is no easy access to the phone. Maybe somebody has got better suggestions.

[Q] I have a Problem on my HTC ONE X

Guys hello,
yesterday i tried to unlock bootloader & gain root access for the first time. But i had some problems after unlocked bootloader. until that point everything was great. but when i was trying to build a "custom recovery" via HTC One X all in One Kit V2.5, maybe i did something wrong. at the moment, my phone can not complete a factory reset. stays HTC logo on a white screen until the charge is off. when i reboot my device, my device is in "airplane mode" and i can not close it. i can not use Wifi, or telephone signal. and i do not know what the problem is...
when i enter fastboot screen, i get a message:
"failed to open USB master mode
loading PJ46IMG.zip image
failed to open USB master mode
please plug off USB"
and then i see the menu items (FASTBOOT, RECOVERY...)
when i try to fastboot "clockworkmod.img (i downloaded it in the forum)", on the cmd screen, i get "error: can not load Recoveries/CWM.img". maybe the problem is here. i deleted something. and i do not know what that is...
on my fastboot screen, i see this:
"*** UNLOCKED ***
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.72.0000
CPLD-None
MICROP-None
RADIO-5.1204.163V2.31
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode: disabled
HW Secure Boot: enabled
MODEM PATH: OFF
Jun 21 2013, 18:24:41 "
and my CID No is : TMOB101.
and one more thing...
when i select RECOVERY via power button, i do not get a menu! i see a telephone icon and over that there is a red triangle and a ! sign inside that triangle. if i do not do anything, telephone reboots after a while. but on that screen if i press, "power + vol up (not vol down)", i get a small menu:
"Android system recovery <3e>
Reboot system now
Apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
Apply update from internal storage"
i do not see other menu items that other people see...
and while this menu is active, i get a message as :
"starting cw install
Enable host mode
Disable host mode"
when i press, pow + vol up button again, host mode becomes again enable... and after that telephone reboots...
but everything is again the same... no signal, no wifi, can not turn off Airplane mode... Please help me...
i am very very new on this rom/root thing. so can you please tell me in details? will i be able to use this phone again?
