Hi everyone,
I have Sony ericsson xperia arc S. Today when installed PC Companion it asked me to update to ICS ?
I was looking on google and saw that some people said that update is good, in other hand some said that it's bad because of lagg ?
Android Version : 2.3.4
Build Number : 4.0.2.A.0.42

Oh, no. I didn't saw that "O" in arcO :S What should i do now? Should i post in right forum, or wait to moderators to move this thread ?
My mother has a Arc S and it is on the latest ics 4.0.4. and it works good. Yes sometimes it lags but my xperia S does that also sometimes. I dont mind.
My advice is: just update, and if it is to laggy for you then you can always flash GB back (search arc s forum how to.)

I wanted to see if someone from this forum have ICS and how does it work ?
Well, what I can tell, on my Xperia Pro, when I updated to ICS, it was running great until I installed many apps (which were running great on GB), because of ICS using more RAM, then I had to use some auto task killers, and so on.. But as power323f said, you can always flash back.

I had 4.0.4 before i changed it for a custom rom. Still, for arc s, it doesnt lag very much and for the extra features on the ICS I would probably update it

I'm in buddy!..Please include the latest task switcher from sony xperia t or z with cybershot camera v5, latest walkman from v if its possible and many others. Would be awesome and great to port it all for the device. Excited much! Go on!

I'm talking about the ZellyCream Rom made by gagan.u20

Battery life looks very impressive... There days...

Probably more accurate than anything from xda. You are asking a question about a Sony phone's official firmware, seems like asking Sony makes a bit of sence.
