Hi peeps,
I found an awesome Rom, but it's only for Xperia Ray / Arc / Arc S...
I'm talking about the ZellyCream Rom made by gagan.u20
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151682
I was wondering if it was possible to port this Rom for our XS ?
I tried it on my old Xperia Ray and I would love to have it for my XS...
My Simcard reader, bluetooth and wifi are dead on my Ray, and ofc, XS is much better than Ray =D
Thanks in advance for answers,
Have a nice day.

I didn't read all but it's seems that it's based on GB?!
I don't like that (if it is). That's step back.

I was looking on google and saw that some people said that update is good, in other hand some said that it's bad because of lagg ?
Android Version : 2.3.4
Build Number : 4.0.2.A.0.42

Oh, no. I didn't saw that "O" in arcO :S What should i do now? Should i post in right forum, or wait to moderators to move this thread ?
My mother has a Arc S and it is on the latest ics 4.0.4. and it works good. Yes sometimes it lags but my xperia S does that also sometimes. I dont mind.
My advice is: just update, and if it is to laggy for you then you can always flash GB back (search arc s forum how to.)
I hope this helps?
it's not arco s, it's acro s
@OP
In the future you can just report your post and a mod like myself will move the thread to the appropriate forum or section.

I can make decision, that's not a problem.
I wanted to see if someone from this forum have ICS and how does it work ?
Well, what I can tell, on my Xperia Pro, when I updated to ICS, it was running great until I installed many apps (which were running great on GB), because of ICS using more RAM, then I had to use some auto task killers, and so on.. But as power323f said, you can always flash back.

Like this Sticky in General titled ICS GENERAL- For discussion on the ICS update
I had 4.0.4 before i changed it for a custom rom. Still, for arc s, it doesnt lag very much and for the extra features on the ICS I would probably update it

Hi to all my fellow filipinos, here is a thread I created for us just in case we need help from each other. Just post from time to time if you have some questions and maybe we can help each other answering some issues regarding our Xperia S, Acro S or Ion. Thanks and Mabuhay!
P.S.
Lets keep our discussion in English so that the Moderators won't close our thread.

I'm a filipino (kamusta ka na diyan dre ) but I don't own an Xperia S, but rather an Acro S... both of the devices share the same specs but different design and features (mine has expandable memory and ip57 certification - water and dust resistant). Anyway nice to see filipinos roaming around here in xda I''m from Lipa City, Batangas anyway
Can you make this thread both for Xperia S and Acro S?
Nice to hear from you men. Hehehe. Hope there's a lot of us here. I also own a sgs2 and I just got this Xperia S for 9k that's why I got here.

I got this from my cousin, he sold it too me and bought an xperia T. Anyways, you're using you're own ROM? That's nice, I'm currently developing a kernel that I will personally use, but haven't had the time to.continue it since.last week, been too busy. But It's good to hear we have fellow filipino's developing some ROMS even though for personal use.

Hi,
Anyone using the FXP CM10 Rom here for xperia S? How is it so far? I'm planning to use it, just want to know some info regarding it, I've read the thread but it's so confusing. If anyone is using it, can you please give any feedback since we're here in the Philippines. Is the Data connection working and if the scrolling is smoother than stock. Thanks in advance!
You can pretty much try it yourself to see if it can satisfy your needs. But if it did not, you can always return to your stock rom or your previous rom

Firstly, you have to post in correct section.
This is not where you do it.
Next, you need to do a research a bit.
You should have read this thread and then decide on your own.

Probably more accurate than anything from xda. You are asking a question about a Sony phone's official firmware, seems like asking Sony makes a bit of sence.

Not only do I wish you good luck getting anything remotely accurate, but I also wish you the best of luck in getting any sort of response from Sony.
