Hi everyone! happy LGOG user here
Just trying to take a look if we have the same benchmark scores, I own the asian version which is E975, I know that there are E970, E973 etc. :cyclops:
Mine is:
Antutu = 5170
Average frames per second = 21.1
Best frames per second = 34.2
Quadrant = 7425
Do we have same score?
Video I did from my benchmark test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJnNXLlBbuk
Lol,why would want to compare?benchmarks are irrelevant.you may have a phone with off the chart results in benchmarks, but moving like crap on daily basics or you can have a phone running smooth,no hickups, freezes with low scores in syntethic tests.
Anyway,your scores are veeeeery low.
With stock,i get 22-24k in antutu,12-14k in quadrant and 60fps on nenamark2.

I get 11609 in 3dmark, 20893 in Antutu and 2264 in geekbench
my auntutu
Auntutu score is 21949
Guys how did you get that scores?
My score is 18 k in Antutu with stock rom.
17,5-18k in antutu :/
Stock rom will get you no more that 18k, smoocha kernel + rootbox + right governor will get you up to 22-23к.

Benchmarks of latest CM10.1.1 ?

Ive used several ROM's in the past on my Desire so far CM7.1 has had the highest benchmark for me at 1600 to 1700 i thought that to be pretty high but can people post what their highest benchmark is on the Desire, i want to know if 2000 is possible.
Which benchmark tool do you use.
On Antutu I consistently get over 2400.
Why do you care for benchmark scores anyway? The only important thing should be if a rom feels smooth and fast enough for oneself. This personal feeling cannot be shown by a number (no matter how high or low it is).
I was meaning Quadrant not antutu.
Mattdroid I was just wondering because on cm7 I got 1700 but on runnymede aio I get 400 usually which is really slow
With miui Rom and amarulz d2x script I got a 1970 on quadrant but with normal a2sd script on the same Rom quadrant score was 1200 although made no diff to smoothness of Rom

I can say quadrant score is not really reliable. It's all depends on the ROM setup. It is always at a high score for a data2sd, data2wherever, adx2sdx, int2sd and lower at a2sd and app2sd. It can be lower or higher with some tweaks in int.d.
If I ever need a benchmark, I would go for antutu, with whatever setup it always give more or less the same score for the same ROM.
In my opinion, Linpack will show if the rom is fast or slow. I tried Antutu and Quadrant but the scores do not match how I feel for the roms speed.
Hi,
For my LG Optimus G E975 international, I just flashed a "unofficial" (for lack of a better description) CM10.1 ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2229806 I have just come from the official CM10.1.
All things being as equal (wifi on, same apps installed and in background, "on demand" governor) this alternative CM10.1 is noticeably snappier right from the start. Incidentally the Antutu score is now around 21k instead of 17k when I had official CM10.1, so that's ~25% improvement as far as the benchmark is concerned.
I read that official CM10.1 is based on LG source whereas the one I am using now is based on Nexus 4 source!? Would this have accounted for the difference in performance? Hope someone here can help me understand why this is the case.
Thanks!
Tests are irrelevant. If the phone runs smoothly, without any hickups, why are you concerned about such results?
There are some tricks to "fool" these tests.if you like,i can show you scores you will not believe from my old galaxy s. 5k in quadrant,13k in antutu and 55+ fps in nenamark2. Not bad for a 3 year old phone, right? Bottom line, this "performance loss" is not real.

17k standard score for lg overheat protection turned on.
21k standard score for lg overheat protection turned off.
Since official CM based on LG source, it does have the overheat protection and eco-mod as well
Thanks! That's very informative indeed.
This seems a valid explanation for my observations (snappier response on the unofficial CM10.1) and why there was a few posts about poorer battery life when compared with the official CM10.1.

My Quadrant Score on my Nexus 7 (LTE) is compared to my HTC One very low. I'm getting 7360 points.
With my HTC One the Score is about 12900 with same CPU/GPU clock and Voltages.
CPU clock speed: 2,1 GHzGPU clock speed: 487 MHz
Has anyone an explanation why the score is so bad? (and yes I know, benchmarks do not say anything )
And is there any Kernel that gives better performance and faster InGame loading?
Currently I'm using the latest faux123 kernel in combination with PACman ROM which runs quite stable
Quadrant scores always sucks on stock Google roms, antutu is Better but not perfect.. ..
Other company's optimize their software to this stupid benchmarks , not google ..
But from what I saw AOKP gives a nice score with antutu - around 23500, bit quadrant is an old and not very good benchmark .
Okay my antutu score is 24217, I've done everything, what was possible with faux kernel and PACman ROM, a fully overclocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with TouchWiz X-Note ROM is getting around 22000 and with an HTC One everything maxed out in the Kernel-settings i'll get incredible 29233 Points with ViperOne Sense ROM.
The Nexus 7 is a really great tablet and I know I could get more out of it, but I shouldn't measure the device with stupid benchmarks
i agree quadrants a bit crappy with stock get between 4-5k
while a stock aosp rom get 7-8k with a few tweaks
(as u can see.i am a Chinese primary students.and my English is so bad.......this is my first time talk on XDA)

not so many kernels are available for lg optimus g as of now.... u cannot over clock krait 300 cpu to more than 1.8ghtz.... if overclocked.. it would be burnt...... and benchmark scores never give true user performance.........for example... samsung's high end galaxy phones lag a lot due to touchwiz ui.. (not the processor type)....so i dont think you need to overclock your optimus g cpu ..to get a better performance.. its already a fast device.......

CPU overlock 1.8 is perfect
Hi!
Im still on stock ROM, only add a few build.prop lines, and this is my AnTuTu Score +/- 184000.
What os yours? To compare.
Thanks
Hi!
I reach a new Score!
