This can happen if you are having low battery.
Just try using a different charger. There might be problem in your HTC's charger. Just try out if its getting charged by different charger. Or try charging your phone through USB port of your PC.
And then try starting again.

Change USB cable, this happened to me too. Basically your cable gives it enough energy to stay on but it doesn't charge the battery. I thought i broke the battery but then found out it was the cable. For the boot loop try flashing a ROM and kernel

Can't Boot or Charge After a Complete Discharge. No Red Light.

Hello,
My friend completely discharged her HTC One V, turned it up several times after it shut down due to a low battery. Now the phone won't boot or even show the red charging light.
We tried charging it for 2 hours, holding the power button with volume down key for 10 seconds in every possible configuration (connected to PC, connected to wall, not connected at all, and with or without SIM card); It won't open fastboot or anything.
The phone is running the latest official software and never been unlocked or rooted or anything; only apps from Play Store.
I tried searching all the HTC One forums here on XDA and Googled as well, with no luck.
Can you please help? Thanks a million in advance.

Probably brick. This happens sadly, I don't know if this is because hTC sets the battery drain voltage too low, and just overburns the battery, or some components don't like this, but happens. Go to hTC service.

[Q] My Galaxy Nexus was bricked...HELP~~

Hi,
I flashed CM10 + franco.Kernel(Milestone5), and works normally about 4-5 days already.
But last night, before I sleep, I played a game, and then I put my phone on the table without charge.
Today morning, my phone was showing a black screen, I tried to push power button but no effect, plug in the charger it is also no effect.
I tried:
1/ remove the battery, waiting 5min/30min re-insert it and try to power on. (no effect)
2/ remove the battery, push power button(many times), re-insert battery and try to power on. (no effect)
3/ remove the battery, connect to my laptop with USB cable(without battery), win7 notifies an OMAP4440(not 4460), but 2 seconds ago it vanished, re-insert battery and waiting for auto power on. (no effect)
4/ plug in the charger and waiting 2 hours, remove the battery and measure the voltage. (growth 0.1v 3.68v->3.77v)
I cannot boot up into recovery/fastboot etc... the screen is always blank.
Did my phone is a real brick? I have to throw it?
Many thanks for any advise.

I tried the OMAP flash, but after installing driver and plug in the USB cable, the "OMAP Flash Driver" cannot work fine, it has an error: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"...
Do you have any advise?
If you run the battery completely dead it's normal to not have it turn on right away. Just let it sit on the charger for 20 mins. A wall charger not a USB one. If it won't turn on after that then you can start being worried.

[Q] my htc one x just died

So its died a day ago and i tried to charge it all day from yesterday and nothing happened.
But, 10 min ago I read that I should tried to connect it to my pc, and i pressed the power button and the volume down and when I did, my pc told me that its installing drivers.. (like most of the time when you plug USB device to your pc) but its failed..
is there any way to revive my phone?
Are you sure its dead. Do you see the charging indicator light up whilst charging? The HOX has a history of dead display so it might be that.

Hi All
I have an HTC one M8 EYE and i think i have bricked my phone...!!
MY hTC was not showing the sim card and i searched on different forums and found that Wiping Dalvic Cache might able to help.
I tried to get into recovery mode but unfortunately my charging was only 7%. Screen goes off after the initially click on recovery mode but its not turning on now :crying: ....
i tried all alternative pressing power and volume down Combinations ..searched on various forum and you tube but nothing seems to be working.
Now the phone is accepting the charging but not showing up the red light indicator on top.
So, could you please help how to fix this? i only have this phone (no money) .... HTC service centre saying that motherboard or ROM gone..they have to replace that and it cost more than the current value of phone...!! ...pls help..!!!
thanks in advance
Leave your phone on the charger for an hour or so, while plugged in hold the power button and volume up for at least 15 seconds. Does the phone vibrate?

Unless it was applying an update to hboot or radio, it probably can't brick the phone.
It's suspicious that you had low charge, and now it won't power on. You may just be in a lower battery condition, where the battery won't accept a charge. Try leaving the phone on wall charger (not connected to computer) and try the battery combos again. You may need to hold the buttons for a minute or more to force a boot.
But you also should not have been messing with the phone, recovery, etc. with such low battery.
My phone has similar problem but with red light when it's connected to the charger.
Phone doesn't turn on and PC doesn't show anything.
Tried Power and volume up and down combinations many times.

HTC One X battery Issue

Hey, my HTC One X is broken since today. it just turned off from alone. after that i couldnt start it. I insert the Charger and the Red LED is flashing, i found a trick the steps are : "Put Phone on charger for atleast 10Minutes (i let it for about an Hour) after that Hold Vol+ and Vol- and Power for 2 Minutes, i did it after that i saw the boot screen from my frimeware but after that the phone turned off. and i got the same problem.
When i boot into fastboot it says Battery level to low to flash, but if i boot into recovery it says : Battery: 66%.
The problem is my phone won't turn on anymore even i load it for 1hour+
I am rly confused anyone have a solution for me?
Thanks in Advance
