Activate LTE/4G - LG Optimus G (International)

Is there a chance to get an activation code like for the nexus 4?
I googled but found nothing for the E975.
Did somebody have this information?
thx

Is your operator working with 4g?have you asked them if you need another apn settings?
Sent from LG E975 pwd by CM 10.1

Yes, it s orange Switzerland.
But they don't support any LG phone
Sent from my LG-E975 using xda app-developers app

It doesn't matter.since you have a 4g phone, they should give you the settings.
You could try to see the status with *#*#4636#*#*
If lte is not selected, choose there.

appears hidden menu 'Testing', when I go in the 1st: 'Phone information' it pops "This application does not work on this device", in the meantime I see in the background the result of this query...
thx for your help, I will also not rest...

I found this... Hidden Menu Start ---> Start shortcut keys:3845#*975#
(for those who change some values (not recommended!), be-careful at your own risk!)

Mini review + mobile data issue

Hej everyone, im co ming from a iphone 3g to optimus 2x to Nokia linia 900 and now optimus g. I really like the phone' very powerful' no lag, great screen, and great camera. For regular pics the camera is just AS good AS my fathers iphone 4. Price Wise i couldnt find a better price, i got Łucku and bought the phone for 1000zl (about 215euro). I was debating weather to get an expensive preminum phone but i think this phone has the same features AS what considered best on the market for half the price. This phone should keep me happy for next year or so.
Now to the only issue im having. I cant get my mobile data to work. I have the feature on in options, iż there another place in options to turn on this feature? Iż there a hidden function to test the modem? Thanks for your help.

[Q] Wifi not working with 2g Network Sim

Dear Experts out there
I also have HTC One VX - I don't live in US therefore I had to sim unlock the device, which I did.
I was able to successfully S-Off the device and changed the Super CID to 22222222 and flash CWM Recovery.
Everything works fine except the wifi on my 2G network Sim.
Note: Wifi works without sim, wifi works with AT&T sim but wifi does not works with my country network sim. Only 2g network is available in my country.
Workaround: I use AT&T sim for wifi to work and quickly swap it with my Network SIM and wifi works until the phone is switched off or restarted.
I need permanent solution for this if anyone can help or know what is the reason behind wifi not working with my 2G based Network Sim
Regardz
This sounds odd. Are you running a stock ROM or custom? And would you be able to pull a log for us?
Using custom rom, tried many roms same response, what logs u want me to pull

Sorry, a logcat. Just download catlog from the market. Make sure to reproduce the problem. Then go into catlog, press the menu button, and hit save. Then upload here so we can have a look.

Hey MansonDroid
Any update over the logs?
Did you find anything odd?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I have but I'm not quite sure what it is associated with. Trying to do some research on the subject. For now, do a nandroid backup and try flashing a different ROM if you haven't tried already to see if it helps.

Thanks for your followup. Well i have tried two to three roms, the problem exists in all of them.
Its allright, u see if u find something
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Are you running Jmz's kernel? Did you make sure you successfully changed the Cid on the phone? Did you try and S-OFF?
Sent from my HTC One VX using xda app-developers app
This is what I found odd:
Unable to open connection to supplicant on "wlan0":No such file or directory, retry 0
I want to say it has something to do with the WiFi driver? Which has something to do with the kernel I believe? Don't know too much about low low level things.
Sent from my HTC One VX using xda app-developers app
Hey. If you would have read above, I have said i have done all the things u are saying.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Well thanks for your feedback, this info is reasonable for me I guess. If it is what you are saying maybe trying more kernels. Maybe something will help.
Thanks for all the followup u have carried, appreciated

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help on the issue. I'm sure someone who knows more about low level development will see this and advise you better than I. I wish you luck sir.

Quadcore control missing?

So I was finally able to update to 4.4.2 KitKat by using the LG FlashTool, but now the quadcore control that was in the battery settings in 4.1.2 is missing. Anyone know how to get it back or is it removed in this update? That option was very helpful for saving battery life.

It's definitely gone but I have no idea how to get it back or if we even need it back Battery life for me has been as good as it was with 4.1.2.

+1. Battery life is quite good on KitKat. Indeed, I can do at least 2 hrs of GPS and streaming quite comfortably, when before it would suck my battery. Google maps especially...
I have noticed the battery life is quite good, but upon running a benchmark with Antutu X, I was only getting 20k, so i turned off the temp control in the service menu, forced 2d hardware acceleration and set max background apps to 4 in developer options and now im getting over 26k

If you're talking about the LG G2, this is the wrong forum. The LG Optimus G Pro doesn't have knock on/off natively in kitkat.

LG G3 F400K korean version 24 h clock problem

Hi Guys,
I have a LG G3 F400K running the 10L build.
I have the following problem:
every time I switch off the phone the time setting reverts back to AM-PM setting wheras I would like to keep it in 24hr setting.
I tick the 24 hour box but it appears not to be saving this setting at restart.
When I restart I seethe correct 24hr setting but after about 5 seconds it reverts back to AM-PM.
Is there any hidden setting I can force or is it a software bug?
Thanks guys
No one else with this problem?

Hello. I had the v10l but I flashed back to the previous version 10g cos none of the 3 rooting tools could root the v10l. When on the v10l ... I didn't have any issues with the 24 hour setting. Have you tried formatting? I know it's a pain in the ass formatting but it could help solve the issue, if you just updated via OTA ..
BTW.. Are you rooted on the v10l?

There are three codes
3845#*180#
*#*#4636#*#*
5457#*180#
Please tell me which one works on your mobile.
*#*#info#*#* is to set your network mode. Set it to LTE WCDMA GSM
And change Appropriate bands from other two codes or check on Auto select
