Hi,
Now we can S-OFF, is it possible to flash a splash screen instead ofthe white HTC screen that displays the red text saying that it is a developer edition?

I have searched everywhere including Google and can't seem to find a working Splash changer or anything that can help with changing the splash screen.
If Anyone knows how to do it or can link me to some information that will help to change the splash screen because at the moment awhile ago I had some trouble and needed a recovery, Well I got the wrong recovery it was a RUU recovery and it was an EXE that i had to execute using the computer anyway it restored my phone but for some reason now my splash screen instead of it being the normal HTC logo it's now got dots with a capitol T like this -----T--- Picture the lines are big dots
Well thats all the information I can think of if anyone would need more just let me know and i'll give the best details i can

hi guys, i find default htc desire hd startup splash screen.... help me someone ?? plz
ps: with animation "queitly brilliant"
I think you are referring to a boot animation, not a splash screen.
The splash screen is the image that flashes up when the device is first turned on. It fades and is followed by the boot animation. There are many ways to change the boot animation, just do a search.
Flash using CWR - Custom Splash Logo/Boot animation
Available version 1,3,4,5,7 and 8 (on page 2)
Preview's added.

- New boot animation.

Thanks for the feedback.
Version 7.
- Splash logo looks really nice on blade's high resolution screen.
Please post your feedback.
does it require root?
You don't need root. It needs Clockwork Recovery. Copy the zip file on your sdcard, boot into recovery mode and flash the zip file.
Version 8.
- Splash logo only
- no boot animation
Version 10
- Splash logo
- Bootanimation
Version 10 (especially designed for Swedish Spring)
- boot animation
- splash logo
Version 11b (with black background)
- boot animation
- splash logo
Version 12.
- splash logo
- boot animation
Version 12(b)
- splash logo
- boot animation
Assasin Creed ( guys i really love this one)
- splash logo
- boot animation
Version 13.
- splash logo
- bootanimation
When I apply these, only the boot animation is changed! I still get that ugly CM7 splash screen (one with blue android man with skates).
Any solution?
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if I can flash custom splash (boot) screens for my Wildfire designed for other devices? I'd really like a white Google logo splash screen instead of the white and green hTc logo. (I mean the Google logo splash screen on the Nexus S). Or if anyone knows any of those Google logo splash screens for QVGA resolution that would be great.
Thanks
Make your own custom one
If you search in Google how to make a Boot splash screen you will see a link for XDA-Developers Forums and there is a whole guide where you can learn to make and flash your own splash screens this way you could have exactly what you have requested above
Ok, thanks for your help

that requires s-off i understood..
but then how can the people with bl unlocked change their splash screen?/?? or they cant :O
they can't.
bootanimation does not equal splash screen.
the splash screen is the very first HTC Logo that is showed when the phone boots up. The splash screen is stored in the radio area and is displayed by the radio software of the phone. Thus you need S-OFF.
The bootanimation, however, is the animation that comes after the splash screen. (the white background with htc quitly brilliant animation).
This animation is done by the kernel. The animation can be changed by placing a bootanimation.zip in the right format at /system/customize/resource.

thanks man i owe you one beer
Well I guess it is pretty obvious but as the "N/A" on boot is white, you just have to use a boot logo which is white. I made one for the OCDs among us and it masks the "N/A" perfectly. (It is simply the motorola logo but in negative)
Install: Boot into bootloader
fastboot flash logo motowhite.bin
fastboot reboot
Greetings
thanks, that n/a was killing me... i like how its masked by white!
Sorry for my nood question.
I'm using Android Open Source Project 9 by Alberto97.
I have black screen on boot with white words about unlocked bootloader
and that system will start after 5 seconds.
There is also yellow/orange link to motorola site.
Will this logo screen hide that all?
