I was wondering if Desire S and One V GSM have the same partition labels, like /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 and such?

[Q] Possible to fix DevNull USB conection spelling mistake?

Hi all,
I'm using the DevNull Rom and its amazing and the only small (very small) bug I've found and seen noted elseware is the small mistake / spelling error when connecting via USB.
I'm wondering if anyone has already fixed this and could explain how or provide the fix or if some one could explain how I could fix it myself. I was thinking I could this part of the rom from another ROM (Oxygen 2.0 or RC7 for example) would that work? Where abouts in the ROM would these buttons / images be?
BTW I understand that its a personal ROM and no support is being given by AdamG or _thalamus and thats why I'm asking if anyone else has fixed it or asking for some help in fixing it myself.
Thanks for your help!

Hardware: HTC Desire - AMOLED
Recovery: CWM-AlphaRev Recovery v2.5.1.8
ROM: Gingerbread 2.3.3 (DevNull) with Echo Fix & Email Added & PureOxygen Battery % Icons
Kernel: kernel-2.6.37.2_r2
Radio: 5.11.05.27
HBOOT: 0.93 S-OFF Bravo Oxygen Table
You could use Oxygen 2.0 since it is 2.3.3.
Thanks for your reply but saying I could use another ROM just because the one I am happy with has one small spelling mistake seems a little silly.
This is site is all about development and I would like the ROM I have and would just like to develop it a little.
I've been doing some more research and I think the answer could be in the usb_storage_activity.xml which is in the framework-res.apk, will try and do some more tests later.

DevNull is Adam's personal ROM so unless he wants to change it it's unlikely to happen
No wonder AdamG gets pissed off with this site as I think people dont read... If you read my first post you will see that I am well aware that this is AdamG's personel ROM. He shared it with the comunity so they could use it and develop it as they like. Yes he stated he will not develop it and not take change requests but that is not what i'm asking here.
I'm asking:
a) has 'anyone else' who is using this fixed this 'themselves' and would they be willing to share the fix.
or
b) can any developer / person with some know how, point me in the right direction for how I could devlop a fix for this issue myself.

It's just a spelling mistake. It's on CM7 too but you would have to change something to put the spelling right. If it's annoying that much don't use 2.3.3.

HTC GoldCard DIAG Files For Most Devices - Android - WP7 - WM6.5 - HOT!!!

Hi, Here is my heist of various s58 Diagnostic NBH files. To use them for unlocking and S-OFF, a HTC Factory SmartCard or XTC Clip is required.
If you dont have the necessary hardware, these are still good for the following:
- Clear User Security Code
- Clear Call Timers
- Viewing Device Info (CID etc.)
Using these files will reset your device to factory state so be careful.
Here is a complete list of the s58 Files contained in this package:
Android:
---------
Desire, Desire HD, Desire S, Desire Z / G2, Incredible S, Inspire 4G (AT&T), Nexus One, Wildfire S and Sensation.
Windows Mobile 6.5:
--------------------
HD2, HD2 (TMOUS), Touch Diamond 2, Touch Pro 2 and Touch Pro 2 (CDMA).
Windows Phone 7:
------------------
HD7, Mondrian, Mozart and Trophy.
To use, open the Zip File you require and extract the contents to the Root of your GoldCard then reboot your device into bootloader and Diag will start shortly after.
Please remember to hit the Thanks button if you found this thread useful.

eBay, amazon, gsm forums or XTC Clip
You would certainly need an insider at HTC to get your hands on one of those badboys! Maybe someone at xda could get a supply going? I think the nearest we are going to get to one of those is an XTC Clip.

Using these package can help users that have the known issue when the phone can't get back to Zune-Mode after using the DFRouter?

MIUI Themes Iconpack etc

Hi Guys
I will change my ROM today to MIUI- I love the XJ MIUI- he runs on my Device Perfect. 4 Days Batterylife and no Problem whits Apps or Settings
the first Question is- Should i go S-OFF and use DATA or S-ON whit A2SD+, which EXT partition is the best for it- EXT2/3/4
the next Question is- Have anyone good Links or Post here on XDA whit nice/good Themes, Bootloader, Icons, Widgets/Gadgets (German Language maybe ) or whatever
I hope anyone can help me and Sorry for my Crap English
1.) I used the a2sd type and I had plenty of space. You just need a fat32 and a 1gb ext4 partition on your SD card, both primary.
2.) For themes, you should check the last section of the Desire forum: Themes and Apps. You just search for "miui" and you will find a bunch of threads.
Now, I have a question for you: how do you get 4 days battery life? Or 4 days with charging?
4 Days whitout charging. I use my Phone not much so is easy to go 4days

1) yes to S-OFF. for A2SD+ EXT partition, EXT3 or 4 will work either way.
2) there's s**t loads of miui themes on xda. just search up 'miui themes' or 'miui XXXX' X being whatever u want to search for.
