Hello, i have PROVISION rom on my phone HTC One V (PrimoU).
I can't start Google Play.
Previous version of google play didn't start .. (Crashed at startup... every time)
Google Play Version 4 can start, but it says no connection, i've tried almost everything.
reboot mobile, edit/delete hosts file.
(Time and time zone is correct)
Any help?..
Try this thread...download the proper file and flash in recovery. I had accidentally downloaded 4.2.2 instead of 4.1.2 and had the exact problem you describe.

Dears, I 'm running alquez cm7.2.0 and since few days all apps updates are failing ..
Anybody found solution? Do I just need to update to 7.2.2?
If the case, is only needed to put the latest update zip file on SD and run update via cwm?
Thx

Theres no cyanogenmod 7.2.2 . If your apps update failed clear data and cache of google play and google service framework and reboot. It should work.

Hi Abhi;
Found something..
I uninstalled updates of Google play app and 11 apps managed to get an update. Nonetheless some (maps, Facebook,Google+) are still getting the "invalid package "notification when trying to update.
Tried reboot as well after clearing data but still those are not updating ..any idea?
Thx

Same thing happened for me with modpunk version of CM9. Apps with smaller sizes have no problem updating ,but its the bigger apps as in your and my case which won't update.

I have the same problem of MidhunCN but instead of using his rom i'm using hensemod 7. As above i can update and install only small apps (or so it seems) from play store. If I put the apks on the sd instead, i have no problem installing big apps. Any suggestion?
I even looked at the link posted above but in that folder i have no file like dalvik or cache.

Try re flashing plus a wipe and dalvik wipe. Annoying I know but also back up your user apps only and flash gapps. Worked for me when I went over to cm9...

Ahh, this happened on my tablet. You must have downloaded a modded version (they never work.) Does it say "Application Not Installed" with a tick beside it when you try to install it? What you need to do is Google "Play Store 3.8.15 apk" Click on one of the results and download it and then install it. If it hasn't been modded then it should install fine.

I haven't downloaded anything. The thing is that it doesn't automatically update. Please provide me the link of the working apk file or any way through which it can automatically upgrade

Oh, I see where you're confused now. No the Play Store doesn't automatically update (not on any of my devices anyway..) Here's a link: http://www.mediafire.com/?wwcqrlfwt8o1gnv
I haven't used this one specifically so tell me if it doesn't work. You'll need a file manager to install it by the way.

Your best option would be reflash and wipe

I take it you tried to download it from the playstore after uninstalling the sideloaded version and wiping cache
Just updated mine and I'm running cm10

I had the same problem on my girlfriends phone. Clear data on Play Store & uninstall updates. Reboot too if necessary.
Google now seems to be just one part of Google search these days, maybe that was it

Try going into recovery and wiping /dalvik-cache and /cache
If that doesn't work, download an updated version of google play store and install it

How am i supposed to install new .apk file of Google Play Store if i haven't any applications to browse file and folder in sdcard ? x)
LOL I see your point man.
But when you download from the browser, you can open the apk you've just downloaded in Downloads app.
Try in this way

Lol who am i supposed to download via browser if i haven't browser ? I only have call app, sms app, contacts app, parameters, super-user.
That's all, very minimalistic app...
Please help me :crying:
If you have adb, then try pushing a browser.apk into /system
Otherwise tomorrow I'll create a flashable zip with the browser for you
It's not that hard, simply i haven't a computer for doing it right now lol

I had to sent my phone back to HTC for a signal issue. Got it back and all working fine. It is running stock 4.1.1.
It was still rooted and I tried to restore sms messages from titanium and I think in doing so I have deleted the sms/mms app.
When I can no longer find it in the app drawer and when i click on the widget I get a message saying that the application is not installed.
Can anyone tell me how i can fix this?
thanks
Just need to get a stock Rom and take the message apk from it and push to your phone.
