i installed nextgen rom for my galaxy grand i9082. everything is installed perfectly but m not getting the network. however m getting incoming sms but no signal. so m not able to make calls. what could be d prob. i did full wipe before installing
If you are getting sms then network would be present ..

since i upgraded to ICS, i'm having hard time connecting to Google Play or any other website ( on data ). I keep getting connection error and have to retry to load/download a page. However, when i online using the data on my laptop ( i put my broadband sim card in the modem ) , it works fine, without connection error or whatsoever. Anyone experiencing the same situation as i am ? what's the solution?

Had some Issues with ics and Baseband 54, gone now with 70
i upgraded to ICS via pc companion so my baseband is already baseband 70, yet i still face the problem.. anyone has the solution?

No Mobile Data
I also having trouble connecting to mobile data (3G) after updating to ICS. I updated thru PC Companion and when I can't connect to 3G, I 'repair phone' thru PC Comapnion to no avail. No choice but to flash back to Gingerbread...

i'm using stock rom but still having the problem, that's weird
i found that not only data connection problem, battery also have problem..
when lower than 40%, it will suddenly drop to 1 % and shutdown immediately..

Today morning i have upgraded the firmware version 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 successfully ( SGH-I777). After that i got error "sim networked locked". So I have did restored to previous backup image , but the SIM network locked error not cleared. So i have done factory reset , after that it is not turning on . I am using it in Airtel - India . I have done root also. But its not turning on and also not going to boot options also. Please help me to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

I am using MC8 with Italian Job v1 and some modifications from kyrillosv7B rom. I dont have any sign of mobile data. I can make calls, messages... I also reset my APNs and carefully enter new but i cant get mobile data. Also i tried reflashing back to MB2, MB4, kyrillosv7B, but i have that problem on every firmware and rom i flash. Problem started few days ago. I fixed it for about 10 hours entering to *#301279# and turn hsdpa on, but after some time problem came back and now i can't ener to *#301279#.
I found alternative way to that menu *#197328640#-debug screen-phone control- nas control- rrc (r6/r7) control but that fix doesnt work.
Also tried changing preffered type in phone info ( cant go to *#4636# so i downloaded phone info app (not avilable on google play)) , no succes.
Airplane mod-reset , no succes.
I can make hotspot but no data trasnfer (i think my antena is ok)
Any help?

Imei is detected. I said already that i can make calls and send sms. I can use mobile data on other phone with my sim card.

Mayby sms to operator? Like my GifGaf : after flash I need to send a sms (2020 SETTINGS) and then I have 3g
What about data roaming? Have you check/allow it from mobile network settings?
There are 3 options: disable, national roaming only and all networks.

maybe this is caused by modification made by you.. try to install stock mc8 and see what happens..

Have you tried to insert other simcard? Maybe with different provider. If its work, then you should contact HT Eronet.

I think that sim card is not problem, my sim card perfectly work on other devices

I have no mobile data connection, but i can send sms and made calls.
I must turn the phone off and start it again, and then the mobile data work.
I flash the MC8 stock.
I change the simcard and the problem is the same.

A reboot dont work for me too.
Only a shut down and then manually start the ace 2 solve the problem.
Oh i remeber, once i must remove the battery and the simcard, the shut down methode didnt work.
But the last 5 times or so, it work with the shut down methode.
I have the I8160P, maybe thats the problem?

ACCTUALLY mobile data is working in all jelybean updates
Few people reported that flashing MC8 over GB without MB2 or MB4 steps is more stable despite the fact that you have less Ram.
Maybe this will fix your issues..

Am using samsung galaxy grand i9082. before that it was working fine with the version 4.1.2 , but when i updated to 4.2.2 as i am using dual sim cards i can able to activate only one at a time . For the other one, when i try to search for the network it is saying "error while searching network". Dont know what to do..
One more thing is "I cant not able to make calls even for a minute. even if i make the call, not able to listen the caller voice and call is disconnecting with in a minute."

I am using a note 2 (n7100) international verient. . It's a factory unlock. . I am using it since almost 9 months. . Suddenly since last week I am getting emergency call only on my status bar i cannot make calls or receive call..I get this on gsm mode .. If i change it to wcdma it works fine... my phone is on stock rom.. I never used any other rom. ... I tried flashing the stock rom again but what happed is just after I flash it the phone works fine one both gsm+wcdma but only for some time like 15to20 minutes... then again I have to change the network to wcdma to get it working...
This problem started suddenly I dint make any changes .. .. no update .. no app uninstall .. nothing it was sudden. ..
my imei is fine .. serial number is fine. .
I am using airtel sim I tried using the same sim in other phone it works .. I even tried some other provider's sim.. I get emergency call on both gsm and wcdma. .. With other airtel sim it works on wcdma ...
