ARHD 6.1.0 Slow network connection?

Since I flashed 6.1 (did superwipe yes + flashed new radio) wcdma,gsm netorks are unresponsive, calls are ok... wifi is limited to 800Kb/s... Everything except this and common 720p video problem, is ok.
To understand if this is caused by redio or kernel, i reverted back to 11m2 radio with ril. , no change... tried LordmodNC 2.1 still the same...
And something strange; when on mobile network (not wifi) i can use internet connection only by default browser, nothing else can get online

try to flash the rom again after one more superwipe.......

Superwiped, flashed again... Still no change

everything is smooth and stable.
Wifi and gsm still the same as 5.6.2

I changed my sim card (AVEA, another operator) it was able to connect normally wcdma and gsm... Put back my vodafone sim card which i normally use, and it is working now!?
About wifi, i rebooted my wifi router, and its working now too...
So in short words, both my router and GSM network failed at the same time?!? really weird coincindence... ?!?!

no issues for me, new radio and ROM have improved my 3G and Wifi connection

how does it works on arhd 6.1.5?

[Q] Force Close when connect to wi-fi

I got problem with my gio, when i tried to connect to wi-fi.. when i connected suddenly the wireless and network force close, and disconnected from wifi..
anyone have solution about my problem?? i've tried in stock rom n stil got the same problem

I have wifi problems too, when I leave it on and stop using the phone.
I am using 2.3.5 Baseband S5660XXKS2. From what i've read in another topic this one has a baseband bug.
Switching to S5660XXKS5 should help I heard.
I haven't tried it yet because I'm having trouble with backup up my rom with CWM (5.0.2.7 signed_cwm-5.0.2.7-flashablezip-ext4+rfs.zip) .

i've tried CM 7.2, MIUI from delanoister, stock dxkt4, and bnc-r2 and still can't connect.. i'll try to flash to xxks5, hope it works thx

wifi works well now, i think the problem comes from the server setting that caused my hh got force close when connected to the wifi

I flashed the suggested rom today, and it seems (fingers crossed) the reboots have vanished. I have WiFi on since 12:30 and no reboots !

I'm having a similar problem. It connects, but connection drops constantly. I have a dual band N router that works perfectly fine with other roms, but this problem is persistent.

please shed more light on your configs, im having a similar problem since flashing a new kernel

Whitch ROM is on your phone?
I had wifi problem, but I install update (Cyanogenmod 10.1) and the problem is solved.

[Q] [Xperia S] Frequency Conflicts !!!

I have a very odd problem on my Xperia S device and this problem is not only limited to my device but is also for all other Xperia S devices that I have tried or used in my area!!!
The problem is related to the WiFi (the phone does not connect to any network and does not even detect any network)
after going back and forth with this problem I discovered that it is related to the GSM providers in my country Syria (both providers MTN or Syriatel) If I remove the SIM card everything works fine (My phone detects WiFi networks and is able to connect to any of them) so basically the problem is related to frequency matters (I guess).
I found one work around only: if I switch the WiFi off - reboot the phone - wait till the phone finishs booting and detecting the GSM network - then switch the WiFi on. This work around worked for me so far WiFi works completely fine after doing so even with the SIM card inserted but this only works for the official stock ROMs or modified ROMs based on the stock ones (If I try cyanogen based ROMs there is no way that I could find to make it work, I also tried the leaked official JB ROM 6.2.B.0.197 from DooMLoRD (BTW you are the best) and it did not work also whatever I try till I remove the SIM card and boot the phone without GSM.
Anyone can give me any hint or help about this annoying matter?? Thanks in advance.
PS: My phone is unlocked rooted and using stock 6.1.A.2.55 ROM with Advanced Stock Kernel v17
PS2: the problem as I said before exists in every Xperia S phone I tried is this area (whether are Lock or Unlocked, Rooted or NOT) and I tried about 7 or 8 devices so far, so it is not limited only to my device.

Try changing you router's wireless channel. It may help.

I did try and did not work + I tried it on several wireless routers same problem, that's why my guess it is related to frequency conflict between WiFi adapter and GSM SIM cards

[Q] [ HELP ] Connected to the Wifi network but internet working very very slow

hi guys.
I have got a new wifi connection installed at my home...i was on Omega Rom when i first faced this problem.As soon as i got my connection installed,i tried connecting my Note 2 N7100 to the network, it connected but the surfing was slow as if like no connection whereas all my other devices like laptop, Ipad and my bros. I phone is working smoothly on the same network.
I tried surfing on my office wifi network and it worked flawlessly.
Frist i thought that may be its some kind of bug which is their in the ROM so i switch to Alliance Rom V3 .....i did factory reset..wipe cache and dalvich cache and sadly still having the same problem.
Any ideas...?

try Android tweaker from playstore then just increase wifi,edge,3g,h+.

:crying: nup not working for me...

I have tried everything now and still no clue whats the problem...
have done swicthing Roms from Omega to ALliance
done flashing kernel
done flashing modem
even tried unrooting and now iam on original stock ROM......and NUP no luck.
Any ideas ?
is it possible that my phone ip is same or conflicting with my reuter ip ?
if so, then would be needing help from u guys..

Ok got it tp worl again by going back to stock rom and updating the firmware to the latest version.
