MIUI piano lockscreen pattern gone wrong. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
I was being dumb.
I installed the piano lockscreen v2 on MIUI V3.6.7. I changed my password to 5,5,4. But there should not be any commas so I have to write 554 instead. The numbers represent the keys from left to right, so 554 would mean the notes G,G,F.

Anyway, now I can't lock my phone. So then I tried to go into recovery and reflash the MIUI rom + gapps, but it didn't work, as the piano lockscreen was still there. Then I tried again to get into recovery and that's when I got the dead android again.
So now I'm in a situation where I can't either unlock my phone, not get into recovery and not being able to use GN toolkit as I can't unlock the darn phone to toggle the USB debug.
Can anybody help me please? What the hell should I do?

Wipe data/factory reset in recovery. Turn off phone, push and hold power and both volume buttons, select recovery. If that's not working, try flashing another recovery using fastboot.

Yeah the toolkit did the trick for a new recovery. I was thinking about it, but somehow I thought it wouldn't work because I couldn't toggle the USB debug in my phone as I couldn't unlock the lockscreen.
Anyhow, thank you.

Fastboot doesn't require the phone to be bootable, which is nice.
No prob.

enter bootloader and try to downgrade ur phone to 1.32
follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003
Your problem was doing a factory reset. That erased necessary files for your custom rom to boot. This is simple. Pull the battery. Reinsert battery and boot into hboot (pwer +volume down). Select recovery. Then from there flash a new rom,backup etc.

Uh-oh...

So my rooted phone has been vibrating recently for no reason. I googled it and came up with "power down, reboot to recovery, navigate with the buttons to wipe cache, then reboot".
I did that, selected yes to continue, and it's been doing this for a while. I'm ticked because I usually research everything pretty heavily and did not this time. What should I do now? How long might I expect this to take?

you are in Download mode not recovery mode
to enter recovery press vol+ + home + power at the same time, when u see Samsung logo remove ur finger from power only and wait till recovery starts
Thank you! Can I do that here or do I need to get out of download first?
Heck, how do I just get back to regular operation? I need to research a lot more on this...
Fixed! I took off my case this time; I think my Defender was screwing up the volume button pushing.

Firstly - I am glad you solved your problem.
Now - If you ever need to get out of Download mode then just pull the battery.

[Q] Bootloop, no recovery

Hi,
I tried to install the xposed framework for Android 5 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with Blisspop, which worked totally fine. After enabling a module and restarting though, I am in a bootloop with the Cyanogenmod screen. I also cant get to the recovery for some reason. But I am able to get to the download mode.
Does anybody have an idea?
Do some googling, find an apk for Flashify and install. Within the menu, find the recovery reboot option and get back to TWRP.
Post edit: I read that too fast.... You're in a bootloop....
Can you 3 button into recovery? Or is that even a option anymore?
It's highly unlikely you have lost recovery, however just reflash recovery. Then hard reset and boot to recovery.
You WILL be able to get into recovery if you do the right combo at the right time.
I've found that when this happened to me on a number of occasions , enter the first download mode screen but instead of going into download mode with the up volume selection use the down selection to reboot then quickly press and hold the up, power and home buttons as normal for recovery it should get you to recovery. Good luck

Bricked my HTC One M8 - No OS

Hi everyone!
OK, I'm sick as a dog, so I know I shouldn't have been doing this today, but..
I was trying to update my HTC One M8 with Cyangenmod, (cm-13.0-20160314-NIGHTLY-m8). I had been having problems with TWRP reading my SD card, so I decided to go ahead and wipe my phone and try reinstalling using fastboot. I used TWRP for the wipe, but I used the advanced option, and it seems that I wiped everything, including the OS from my phone. Now, all I get when I boot is this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have tried holding the power and volume down buttons but I can't get back to the recovery. Both adb and fastboot do not seem to be able to see my phone:
Does anyone have any suggestions one how I can fix this?
Thanks

Only this screen. My phone won't even power down.
OK, I was just able to get into the bootloader and I can also get into TWRP. I have a micro USB chip that I can put into the phone. Should I copy the files onto the chip and use TWRP to flash? There is also an option for "adb sideload" in TWRP.
Whew!
OK, using sideload, I was able to flash Cyanogenmod back onto my phone!
Every thing should be fine now! (fingers crossed!)
You also can copy files with mounting from twrp.

turn it off and get your self a USB JIG, try searching on google on how to make one and on how to use it. flash it back to stock rom, once u are done and u want to either flash using CWM, install terminal app and type SU, then reboot recovery if you want to get to bootloader, then type reboot bootloader
