I have had my GS4 for a few days now. Its rooted and running DarthStalker. When I reboot the phone esp from TWRP it just gets stuck on the GS4 screen. Its most of the time sometimes when I reboot from the screen it fixes it self, Or do a full wipe. Do I have to odin stock again? I got it working by full wiping DarthStalker and reinstalling again.
I had this issue too, i even tried to use cwm and see if that fixed the problem but it wouldnt even boot doing a full wipe, i odined back to stock and rerooted , installed twrp and i have no problems now.

Issue has been experienced here as well. I may reinstall twrp if it continues and re-root if it continues after that. Good to hear its not just me

I dont think it would do any good, after installing cwm i couldnt do anything just boot into recovery. So to get it running i pushed twrp .tar file thru odin but still had to fully wipe everytime i reboot it. So i just odined to stock. I was a little scared as a week before i had hard bricked an S3.

Next time you have problems booting up normally or have bootloops for whatever reason, do a "factory reset"
in either cwm or twrp and nine out of ten times after doing that the phone will boot normally.

it didnt work for me, you even replied to my thread suggesting the same method.
I can't say I've ever been stuck on the Samsung logo, but I can't count how many times I've gotten hung up on the TWRP splash screen. :\

I'm following the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426&nocache=1 (for the second or third time) to flash the stock rooted rom onto my att s3. I've done this before a few times and never had an issue.
I'm following them to the letter tonight and everything goes ok (at least ODIN says its ok...) but the phone won't get past the SAMSUNG logo on the restart. ODIN finishes, I see the green Android guy and a progress bar, then I think it reboots again, I get the samsung/at&t logo with sound, then it just stays on the SAMSUNG screen. I gave it time, up to 20 minutes, to finish anything it was doing.
Any help would be appreciated.
(Why am I doing this? I flashed CM 10.1 and somehow LTE didn't work, so I went to CWM and flashed my backup and I couldn't get any phone/data to work. So thinking something got fouled up I decided to just re-flash from the above post to get what I had, which was working.)

Enter recovery and wipe data/factory reset. You have things from CM10 lingering and this wipe will fix them.

When I try to do that, the screen just goes black.
I tried flashing CWM using heimdall (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1728981) and got this error ... ERROR: Partition "recovery" does not exist in the specified PIT.

you wont have CWM if you have stocked via Odin, but you will have 3e recovery with same option. Use same 3 button combo to get recovery
Suggestion
I sort of had the same issue except I didn't have any issues with recovery. I flashed 4.1.1 via ODIN and then got stuck at the Samsung logo. ODIN said passed so I did a battery pull and booted into stock recovery (holding volume key up + home button (keeping both held until I was in recovery) and hit the power button) and I had to do a factory reset and wipe cache and then reboot. Could maybe try flashing via ODIN again and giving that a shot if you haven't yet.

You can flash Philz Recovery to get rid of the "Kies Recovery" screen. I have the same exact problem, and I can't solve it so far. Been trying to fix it for the past 7 hours.
----
Edit:
I fixed it! Once you flash Philz Recovery, factory wipe the phone, and delete dalvik cache. Once that is done, flash the ROM you wanted to install through Philz Recovery, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo will load up (with the error on top left) then the rom will load up right after. I hope this works!

I've had NB4 for a while now, none of that changed. I have data just fine but the phone app freezes for a really long time and then reboots the phone. Plus the whole phone is insanely slow now. Aaaannnnd now I have a knox counter and am sad I might just try to sell this to someone on XDA who might think they can bring it back to life. It turns on, it has data just fine and a fast signal but the phone is so slow it can't keep up...
I have the stock rom/kernel installed on my phone after being on CM11 for a while. The process worked fine and I have been on stock LG for about 2 weeks. This morning, I turned on my phone and it came up with a notification saying I can update the phone to a newer version. I clicked okay and it turned off into Clockwork Mod Recovery. It didn't update, and after waiting about 3 minuted I just went ahead and clicked on re-boot device. It showed the LG logo and then did the color rotation on the home button. Then it showed up Clockwork Mod Recovery again. So after rebooting and clearing user data, cache, and dalvik cache. The phone still boots into recovery. Please help! :crying:

flash twrp, reboot(say yes when prompted to fix root). If still in bootloop after that you will need to flash a rom.
same thing happened to me, was up all night trying to fix it. the solution was to use lgflashtool and flash back to a totally stock rom and start over. sure hope it doesn't happen again.

Its in the lg g pro general section.
I've tried to revert rooted 4.1.2 with CWM via LG Mobile Support tool, but I got completely unexpected result - phone was updated to KitKat, so you can try that variant too.
Never install OTA updates when using custom recovery, unless you want trouble. OTA needs stock recovery.

Flash TWRP via your current rewcovery then follow post #9 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53631232
Be sure to install the recovery I mention.
I really hate this bootloop issue and am really sad to see all these posts about people bricking their phones or getting bootloops etc.
I'm not saying that people are stupid or careless, it's just that we need a whole new set of recoveries, tools, etc for Kitkat and don;t have what's needed without causing problems.
I really wish I was a developer. I'd create all this stuff myself if I could.
I solved my issue just by flashing cwm on top of my old recovery, which is another cwm. Just glade that I didn't have to use the lg flashtools.
fix
1 . dowload this rom fom the link

Hello crew, I've recently gotten a Note 4 through sprint. I've been rooting devices since the HTC Magic and have had no bricks. I rooted my Note 4 via Odin 1.85. I flashed the latest twrp and It worked great. This morning my phone was frozen and when I pulled the battery, it boot looped. Figured it was a stock kernel issue with xposed installer. I went back into twrp and it refused to mount the system partition. I can't flash a rom, I can't recover from any of the images I created. I went through the unroot process and flashed the stock recovery back with odin. Now it boots but hangs up at the samsung splash screen for a while then loops. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
Flash twrp again.

Thank you for the fast response. I did. I tried an older version too just in case it was a bug. No luck. When I used Odin to flash the stock recovery and rom back it starts to boot past the black and white Note 4 screen then gets to the samsung splash screen and it just hangs there. I cleared the cache and did a factory reset in the stock recovery.

OEL? I don't understand why It won't mount the system partition in twrp. I had no initial issues at all. I even flashed a Cyanogenmod nightly. It's still early and wasn't very stable so I went back to a backup I made. worked fine. I was back to rooted stock. Then the next day it froze and here I am.

Yep... OE1... Samsung's latest bit of terrorist activity.
Read through the general and help threads... You'll see.
Try notarized rom (search) and then wait for the next official release (5.1.1?) .

Yes, also noticed OP's Odin 1.85 is old.
To OP: CF Auto Root comes bundled with the recommended Odin. I think we're using 3.07 or 3.09 but 3.07 is recommended to uncheck the auto-boot so user can pull USB and battery after flashing custom recovery over OE1 so it sticks.
I also recommend flashing root tar and rebooting as chain fire recommends. "If you don't get to the red Android logo, boot into recovery manually ("adb reboot recovery", or boot while holding Power+VolUp+Home)."
Once booted, see what build you have.

So I was rooted with stock and had twrp and everything running fine, when twrp 3.0.0 came out. I was like what the heck I'll flash it and I did, it worked fine when I booted into it for the first time. My phone was getting pretty lagging with all the crap I had on it so I factory reset, and tried booting into trwp so I could flash SuperSU. I got this red statusbar. Whatever I flashed wouldn't flash, it would try and it would complete but nothing actually happened. I tried flashing SuperSU and when I booted up it wasn't there, SU binaries weren't even installed. I was like eh I'll try twrp 2 again maybe 3 is buggy. Same problem. Got on my PC today to flash stock recovery with nrt, and it was fine and I got the ota and everything. Flashed twrp 2 again and red bars. Nothing on the internet, pls help. Kek

I can tell you 3 is fine, been using it for a little bit now with no issues. Only thing I can think of is maybe a bad download or a hardware issue.
