Just wanted you all to know a new update is available for the purchased and registered users for the Nav n Go igo8 navigation software. This update was launched on July 3,2009.

one thing I already know:
this version supports TMC-Pro in Germany
not confirmed ...

This now is confirmed to work with using HyperGps on my Touch HD!!!

does this version still suffer from lag.. i had an older version, and although it seemed fine for a bit, sometimes the lag was bad enough for you to miss your road.. especially in busy inner-city areas.. does this fix that problem?

Yes, it my case it does still have this lag. It seems to be a flaw in the software, because TomTom on the same HD does not show a noticable lag.
IGO's gps lag is really annoying. I propose to start a new topic for this. I am pretty sure there are many users of IGO (8.3.2.97313) that experience (or have experienced) the same problem. There's only one person needed to give us the solution

[Q] Graphics problem on RemPuzzle

Hello to the whole xda community!
Even though this is my first post, I`ve been around here much more and did test quite a lot of ROMs for my current phone- HTC Wildfire... Anyways, I have a pretty weird problem regarding the RemPuzzle ROM. Even though it is the fastest and the most stable sense ROM, I`ve found a graphic problem and i wish to ask everyone here if anybody else is getting the same problem. Here are 2 screenshots that actually explain my problem:

I think you understand what I mean now. The weather animation is not displaying properly and as you can see in the second picture, the game doesnt show some buttons properly. My question is, does anyone else have the same problem and could that be because of the lack of a GPU on our Willy? If there is a fix for this, please post it, I would be really thankful!

1st one is indeed a glitch in unlock animation.You can get rid of it,simply remove clock widget and then add it again,while re adding it,uncheck unlock animation and you are done.
no idea about the second one though.

[Q] Network Connection Issues

Hi,
I rooted my Desire HD in mid August (with aahk), and haven´t used Moblie Internet since then.
However i have an Mobile Internet flatrate now again and noticed that it is kind of unusable.
I have an Hsdpa connection and full signal strengh (5/5)
The Browser is loading very slowly (for example takes up to 4 minutes to load google.com),
Play store always gives me: "Error: Connection Timeout" and I receive Whatsapp message always days after they were send.
Now the Question, how can i deal with this? (However Wifi works fine) I had have this problem now for an entire Month.
(I checked if it was a problem with the Rom, but somehow it is not)
Roms i have testet since i noticed the problem:
Stock android 2.2.1
Stock android 2.3
Virtuous infinity alpha 3 Sense 4 | 4.0.3
Viruous infinity Beta 1 Sense 4 | 4.0.3
Jelly Time R18
and
ViperDHD v1.1.0 | Sense 4.1 | 4.0.4 (currently)
The Problem excists on all Roms
I can bet that its not poor network service since a friend of mine does have an Samsung galaxy note II in the same network as mine and get´s 600 kb/s download speed over mobile network.
Is it Radio related? If yes which Radio should i get?
(I live in Germany)
Radio is: 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M

Edit build.prop and/or new apn settings? I don't know much about radios.

i never changed any build.prop.,should I?
I looked into apn settings and compared them to the ones that my provider recommends, they match...

No its probably radio related then. I can't help you with that

I have found an old screenshot from android 2.3 before i flashed and found out that i had the following radio bevore:
15.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
im flashing and testing now ...

Sorry for late reply, i had a lot to do yesterday and no time for my phone :/
i just ran an speedtest, websites seem to work very well now

WiFi drop

Hi all,
Since last OTA update, after which I did a full wipe, I noticed WiFi signal drops: also at a couple meters from the router I don't have full signal. Before the update WiFi always performed perfectly.
My phone is completely stock, does someone knows how to solve this issue?

It happened to me too. I'm a few meters from the router and my HOX doesn't get any signal ...

I have the same symptoms, WiFi is weaker and fluctuates to the point that connection is lost completely for a few seconds. I have hard wired the GPS and WiFi antennas so I am quite sure its not hardware. It was first apparent when I installed the Jellybean ota from o2 but custom roms still have the same symptoms. My ril and radio match so I think this only leaves the hboot, mine is .36 . Hope this is helpful in some way.

It depends what Rom you are using. If you are using a Rom built from source until recently the Wi-Fi drivers went the right ones so maybe that could be your issue?

Sensors not working, need help

Sometimes the sensors on my Note II are not working. It used to happen rarely but now it's getting worse.
It happens random and i don't know what is causing this. Sometimes only few sensors , but today it happened twice that all the sensors are not working.

Nope, i was wrong. It's not working. The problem is Gyroscope sensor. I tried all of rhe roms, and currently I'm on stock rooted rom and soon or later the problem emerges. Its ok after reboot but i don't know what is causing it. Here are some pics

Now the gyroscope and accelerometer sensors stoped working and cant get them to work. I tried odin flash recovery wipeed all, wiped cache and dalvik , flashed all roms, cm, etc..pulled the battery couple of times and i dont know what to do anymore.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

OK. Update of my current situation.
I have tried almost everything regarding this problem, and now I'm testing the current possible solution. I have flashed the phone with a latest KK along a .pit file and the sensors are working for the last 4 days. Maybe this will be the ultimate fix. So fingers crossed.

Funny thing is, when i flash a new rom, currently I'm on 4.4.4 by usol38, the sensors work for a couple of days and then suddenly stop.

Any updates!!!
