Which is the best ( mAh ) battery for Galaxy Nexus ?
I searched with Google and i found this one, but is too thick :
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...ung-galaxy-nexus-i9250-with-battery-door.html
Is there 2500 - 3000 mAh, but normal sizes for the battery ?
Which settings are good for the battery ? I mean, when i switch off the display, almost every apps should ¨ die ¨
Thank you
a battery has to be thicker to have more MAh capacity so a battery in the same size of the normal one saying it has more MAh is fake
as for saving more battery search for a Rom or a kernel that is battery friendly or get a battery saving app

To be honest you have to find a battery saver that suits u the best
you can try some like ( easy battery saver or green power or juice defender ) but the best solution is that battery you linked to but it will add thickness as for a Rom or kernel i don't know since i am a s3 user but usually the Rom developer says that his Rom is battery friendly or a kernel has a battery saving govener

well try greenify
it stops unwanted apps from waking up your device which eventually leads to battery drainage

Of you want more mah, it will obviously be a thicker battery for my capacity

Have you looked at the Verizon battery? Is 1850 mah while its smaller than the gsm 1750 battery. I'm sure they can fit some in without making it larger

I have a 3800mah battery from Hyperion and I like it. I have also seen a lot of talk of the 5900mah ZeroLemon battery. Both will increase thickness and weight but to be honest I like the extra heft that the Hyperion added.

I think you could use BatteryCalibration when you have root
Will you guys fick off with your batterycalibrations, we're looking for battery accessories, not no crappy programs.
As for the original question.. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist, nor there is any extended life battery for our phone. Your best bet is to buy a backup battery to have with you during longer journeys etc.

hi am vasigar from India. I bought this mobile 2 weeks ago and I one among those suffering from bad battery drain. So I installed Battery monitor pro today and incidently found that the phone is charged 972/1200 mAh (around 81%). As far as I know se arc has 1500 mAh capacity. So I am confused. Is it alright and the app reads like that or is there a mistake in either the battery or the application. Kindly help.
With regards
You need to enter manually right battery capacity

It's not belong to the exactly question by vasigar, but the titel is right!
So I dont want to open a new thread. My question is:
Well known the Arc S have a capacity of 1500 mAh. But there are diffrend sizes out there. Its possible to find a battery is match to our Arc S physically but with a highe capacity, like 2000 mAh? :fingers-crossed::victory:
Thanks for kind answers in advance!

None of those extended capacity batteries will work properly because stock 1500 mah battery gauge of the Arc / Arc S is hardcoded in the kernel and into the battery gauge reading-drivers so you are stuck at 1500 mah without any advanced re-writing of the kernel and drivers..

All of those 2000mAh batteries of the same size are fake anyway. Don't bother and just buy an extra battery or an external battery pack.

It is pretty hard to verify if the batteries are fake stuff or truw extended ones because kernel and battery reading drivers can't calculate and read proper battery gauge, thanks to the hardcoding of stock value at 1500 mAh.

Now I'm testing this battery. Original thread in this forum (spanish) http://www.todoradares.com/foro/bater-4300-mah-samung-galaxy-t22247.html
At the moment I have not done any charge.
After the first full charge and discharge I will upload screenshots from battery reports.
At the moment, usage is 15h and 9 minutes (normal usage) and consumed 46%
Stock ALF2 rom and cf-root.
Of course, nfc is not available
Now pics:
Extended Battery
The battery seems to be quite bulky. How much did u bought it for?
Ebay 12,99 euro
Yeah it's a bit bulky
I'm using a 3600 battery replacement in my old x10 with feralab rom and the battery usage is 5 days powering off phone at night.
wow that's big..
Yes, but believe me. It's more easier to hold the phone now with one hand.
Sorry, I like more a better battery than design.
At the moment. Battery stays at 3% from two hours ago, using opera mobile with H+.
Needs a little calibration
How much will battery life improve over stock battery?

No. As you can see in pictures, this battery is more bigger than original battery and needs a bigger cover.
But only for the rear cover. The battery fits correctly in his place.
Can you post measurements of the battery? (ie depth of battery and depth of phone with battery inserted).
The only reason I ask is because I ordered a 3600mAh version from ebay (thought it might be a bit slimer, for all it's worth... ;-) ) and the pictures used show some measurements.
See this url for an example:
**** sorry - can't post external links yet - not enough posts... ****
Search for "Galaxy s3 3600mah" in ebay and you'll find a few posts - the user I bought from is called "hightechhk-com"
(h**p://***.ebay.co.uk/itm/3600mAh-Extended-Battery-White-Door-Cover-for-Samsung-i9300-Galaxy-S3-III-New-/261045894976?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cc78c3f40)
From quick observation they look very similar.
Also, how doea the back cover fit? Doubt it's up to the quality of the original (or is it?)
As soon as mine arrives i'll let you know how they perform.
Cheers
Good stuff. Please do a comparison step by step to the original one, as in exactly the same daily use and turn off at night if you do with both. Its interesting, I wouldn't buy it myself but I always wonder if these batteries are not that well made than original.

Now, I can't. I'm testing it now. After first full charge I will post screenshots from battery stats. It's too early to say anything.
Please, be patient. Thank you.
I know that these batteries are made with a lower quality. But i'm sure that these batteries doesn't break your phone (tested in x10). I've heard something about gold batteries, but this battery is not a gold manufactured battery. It's from another manufacturer.
Good stuff. Let us know how you get on

Recommand!
I'm started to using Sun Global 3000 mAh battery since my ori battery get pregnant last month,
It can last a bit longer than samsung ori battery. I got up to 5hour screen on time with 3G on, some browsing and Most of the time with high graphic Gaming! Samsung ori battery only able to give me around 3 hour and half only.
Sorry to say it, but comparison based on daily usage is not reliable, because no two days are identical in terms of usage and phone signal.
IMO, the only way to compare batteries without special equipment, is to measure the run time in comparable conditions, e.g continuous video playback of the same movie with all possible phone features switched off (no sync, no gps, plane mode etc.), preferably with minimal backlight (longer measurement time provides cleaner results)
ampere rating
Shouldn't we check the ampere rating? Some high capacity batteries are known for bad current.
Hi Guys,
Just bought a Sun Global 3000mAh battery yesterday. So far it seems to be holding superior than the original.
FYI, I am using Nova Battery Tester and currently running the test. I will update the results once it's completed.
For the time being you can refer to the attached picture, it shows that after 8 hours of usage, I still have 56% battery left.
Finished the test, here's the result.
Apparently the mAh claimed by Sun Global is not the actual mAh. What I got from this test is only 2541 mAh... which is slightly better than the original.
Hope this helps.

My guess is a battery issue...not a bad battery tho.
Why not get gsam and post some screenshots after a good long drain?
Your setup, usage and apps have surely changed over time. Something is likely draining your battery.

Ok. I've seen some good things about Anker batteries (like this one:http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-T...H-I515/dp/B0078WL4YO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top)
With a new battery, do a full charge, full discharge (until phone dies and will not turn back on), and another full charge.
+1 for the anker 2200mah replacement. It's cheaper than the oem battery. It lacks nfc though. And as for the whole "battery memory" thing, don't worry about it. Just pop the new battery in and use it however. I just bought the anker to replace the original battery in my wife's s2, her battery life has doubled.
I just bought the Anker 2200 mAh battery and its great. My phone does last a little longer on standby, but my screen-on time hasn't increased by very much (I typically get about 3-4 hrs screen time).
I'm running CarbonROM + Wildkernel and other various tweaks for battery life. My phone spends most of its time in deep sleep.
When you open your battery stats, what things are taking the most out of your battery? I've found the app Wakelock Detector to help a lot in tracking down battery drains.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector&hl=en
GSAM gives a much easier to understand picture of battery usage. If you're rooted, get Gsam root companion as well to see held awake stats. ?
