Lockscreen message notifications using other apps

Hey guys
Just a quick question, does anyone know of a way to use a sense lockscreen such as productivity and still be able to quick access the message from the lockscreen using a 3rd party app e.g. GO SMS
Thanks in advance

[SOLVED] Expanded Desktop(Fullscreen) for Stock/TW ROMS

Is there a way to hide the status bar/expanded desktop on a stock/tw ROM while still being able to see "Recent Apps"(long press home) and also "Expand Notifications"(through PIE chevron target).
On AOSP/AOKP, you can enable Expanded Desktop via Power Menu(long press Power button) and still be able to select Recent Apps and Expand Notifications no problem.
On stock/tw ROMs, I setup "hide status bar" through GMD Gesture Control but it seems to be just killing the System UI process because also incoming calls ring the ringtone, but don't pop up on the screen. VERY ANNOYING lol any suggestions?

TW is a love/hate thing for me...
Hiding status does exactly what you describe. The UI is disabled, and the functions simply stop working all together. ( Hey SAMMY !!...that was a cheap trick)...LOL
The only way I know to get the function you want, is by using the AO builds. Stock TW builds or our variants do not have this function baked in, to my knowledge....g
Are you willing to use a different launcher? Nova allows you to hide the status bar

[Q] Disable stock lockscreen completely? (GB)

I was on JB for a while using a custom lockscreen it worked fine as I was able to disable the stock on from the android settings.
But back on GB, it seems that setting didn't excist and all these "no lock" apps don't work atall! is there anyway to disable it or does ICS also have the option to disable the lockscreen?
Mmmmm...
Hi! I think there's no such feature in GB, and every app for lockscreen are just "layers", and I often see the stock lockscreen 'til the other one appear, there's a MOD you could try to see if work for you, I personally change the rom, I'm on ICS now, with Xperia Z lockscreen type...

this feature isn't reliable in GB. when i want to switch the lockscreen back on (when not at home for example) i have to reboot to get it back. not dixperia thing - every gb stock rom i tried has this problem. i haven't tried CM7 based ones though.

I think CM has this feature, and as far as I can remember, it used to work. At least in my MM used to work and in CM for Samsung Galaxy S too.
You can use no lock app to disable lockscreen it can partially solve your problem
What thirdparty lockscreen app do you use? Cause I like the one in ICS from Xperia Z (which isn't available for GB), but as any lockscreen app I found, it hasn't the feature from Xperia NXT lockscreen (when you have new SMS, there is a "slide-to-unlock line" with the text of this message and when you unlock it, it show you directly the message, this also work with calls etc. - I don't know how to describe it properly).

well you can use no lock app from playstore or you can use cm7 toggle I've ported cm7 toggles to stock GB and I can completely disable lockscreen

[Q] Does Sense allow a "clear all" from the multitasking window?

it's really annoying to have to swipe apps away one at a time.

Not that I have discovered. It won't even let you multi-swipe. I agree, it would be much easier if there was an option.

no, i think thats only on 4.3
Does swiping the app away actually close the app or just make it disappear from the recents tray?

This was just posted to r/android about a week ago. Give it a read if you're interested in the swiping of apps in the recent menu.

Been like that since release day, so that's why J to the 4n wrote a little "Kill All" button into the Multitasking window. Its been annoying people ever since although we did try to explain on the ViperOne thread for ages that it doesn't matter how many apps are shown there as it doesn't mean they are necessarily active apps.
However, there is people who would like to not see a history of apps on their phone so e.g. the girlfriend can't see whats the guy been doing...
I hope you Verizon folks will get ViperOne to your phones soon too. Wish you best of luck!
If you're rooted, you should install xposed framework + Sense 5 toolbox. The latter has an option to allow pinch or swipe down from the multitask window to clear it out.

Here: http://dl.xposed.info/modules/com.langerhans.one_v14_0e220e.apk
I can confirm that the clear all feature works as well as the other mods that are in there ( volume wake, battery icon change, center clock, transparent status bar, etc) It actually adds a Sense 5 Toolbox entry in the settings menu which is nice.

[Q] Unlock Shortcuts on Lock Screen Slider?

somewhere in between unlocking/rooting and reflashing to stock, i lost the option to put shortcuts on the lock screen slider. im pretty sure that there was a lock screen \ shortcuts option somewhere, but cant seem to find it now. i tried clearing and reflashing again and that didnt do anything for me.
if anybody can help out with that id appreciate it.
On CM, it's under settings -> Lock screen -> Slider shortcuts. Dunno if this is elsewhere for the various other ROMs.
If your running stock I believe that they took that out. But they added lock screen widgets
