Lockscreen message notifications using other apps - HTC One X

Hey guys
Just a quick question, does anyone know of a way to use a sense lockscreen such as productivity and still be able to quick access the message from the lockscreen using a 3rd party app e.g. GO SMS
Thanks in advance

Try Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen. You can choose what icons you want to keep and what icons you want to change. Hope it helps

Couple of q's
How do I get just an individual wallpaper for my lock screen rather than my normal wallpaper??
There's also a screenshot of someone's phone where there app icons are words,I know I change them as I figured that out in a different thread, is there a package for the word icons?

It is known that Sense UI doesn't allow custom lockscreen as it only provides the downloadable package from the HTC server.
The same thing applies to the stock launcher as well. You can't change the icon into words - unless you use third party app launcher and lockscreen such as Launcher Pro and WidgetLocker. By using this app, you can change anything you want, including what you have mentioned just now.
Both apps are available on the Market in free or paid edition.

You can do that on Sense 3.5 (in the personalize menu). I can't remember whether that option was there in 3.0 or below, so it might depend on what ROM you're using at the minute.
Thanks for the replys, sorted wallpaper now onto the widgets, thanks to All

[Q] SmS notification in lockscreen?

I know I know it's something everyone has been asking...At least I think so....Been searching around the web and thought I would come to you guys as my first post and question! I know there are some apps that can provide notifications in the lockscreen so you don't have to type in your password or pin to see what they recently said, now my question...is there a rootable app, something that can change the current lockscreen on the SGS3 to have these notifications? none of them seemed to work or are really buggy and not supported anymore, I know Iphone has this, infact I think this is the only reason to get an Iphone, just for the notifications in the lockscreen! If there are any legit ones that work and people still know about them please don't hesitate to answer and thanks for reading!

Widget locker from the market will allow you to see widgets on the lock screen. So you will also need to choose a SMS widget, plenty out there
Tried....

I tried the widget locker thing and it quite badly sucked....wouldn't have any haptic feedback even though it was clicked on, and when I pressed home button after I turned on the screen it would completely bypass my password which is stupid...

Alternatives to Handscent: Go SMS (my personal fav -- can be put into a "lightweight" mode), Pansi SMS (simply awesome, lightweight, love it).

Nope. If you want to change icons without rooting you'll need alternative launcher like Apex, ADW, GO or Nova (which I prefer the most). All of them are free (but you can buy full version with few features added). Check them out on Google Play.
Yes you can... Get Desktop Visualizer from Play store... And you can put your custom icons for anything......

HTC One m8 Blink Feed and launchers

Hey guys just picked up my HTC one m8 and I love it so far. I've bought almost every single launcher in the past 2 years for all of my android devices. I love using blink feed but I can't seem to use it when I put a launcher on. Does anyone have a quick fix for this or is it a common problem.

There was a workaround to get it to work with Nova launcher at the Verizon M8 side if I remember correctly. It had something to do with Nova launcer action shortcuts etc.

Yes choose shortcuts then activities scroll down to HTC BlinkFeed (expand that) Chose the one that says HTC BlinkFeed launcher. That shortcut will take you to the blinkfeed launcher. Just make sure you have that on the blinkfeed page so every time you go to that shortcut blinkfeed will show up.
shortcut option
Another option if u don't want the BlinkFeed shortcut icon cluttering ur home screen is to bind the HTC BlinkFeed shortcut activity to one of the home screen gestures in nova settings. U can also customize it so if u press the home button while on ur default home screen it'll take u to ur BlinkFeed page. I personally like this option the most cause it allows u to switch back and forth between ur nova home screen andbur BlinkFeed page simply by taping the home button which will toggle u back and forth depending on what screen ur on. Just go into nova settings, under gestures, click the home button option and under shortcuts/activities/htc BlinkFeed select the "Launcher" activity then make sure u check the box that says "only on default home screen" and then bam, ur in business. Hope this helps.
