This is an LG feature, meaning it may have deep hooks in the framework which may make it impossible to really port over. Best you might be able to get is the GPad rom, but I really know nothing about the GPad to say if it's possible.

Just Install QPair in Google Play Market (Both of Your phone and Nexus 7)
Change in Build prop of your Nexus 7
ro.product.model=LG-V510
ro.product.brand=lge
Working Great and Not working issue yet

Awesome! Thanks for posting this, I've got Qpair working on my nexus too now Only difficulty I had was with the QPair app not showing up in the play store on the nexus (even after editing the build prop). Got round it by copying the app over from the phone using titanium backup.
Can I change the build prop file back to normal or will that stop the qpair app from working?

Please guide me how to do it. I even installed an SMS app in Nexus 7, but it shows no notification, the one and only notification I receive is of calls. :-/
And how did you manage to get whatsapp working on nexus 7, I thought a single number can only operate on a single device.
Thanks.

Yea something is up...the software version is wrong on the support page.
To verify the updated software version, go to Settings > "General" tab > About phone > Software information. The following information will be displayed:
Android version: 4.1.2
Software Version: E98010n
Baseband version: APQ8064/MDM9x15M
Kernel version: 3.4.0
Build number: JZO54K
So what changed, I'm not 100% sure but it seems like the phone already has all that.

I am rooted and the update went fine (and still rooted). Not sure the issue. Let's see if we can get some others to chime in on the error if rooted.
I got the same error. 0X13E is what it showed on screen and when it rebooted it said root access detected, can't install update.

I wonder why mine updated? I am rooted but all I have done was add Titanium Backup and freeze att apps. Some were even just disabled in the Android app Manager. Maybe its something you have removed/frozen/disabled? I am stock with apps frozen or disabled that's it.

What can I do to fix this so I can get on a ROM designed for my phone.
I have the latest CWM and currently running the most up to date CyanogenMod 11 snap shot build.

Have you tried a 3rd party camera app to establish if it's the rom or the app?
Sent from my LG-E975 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
What you did wrong is flashing a ROM that goes only with the International edition of the Optimus G (E975/6/7, geehrc).
You need a ROM made for the GEEB (E970, AT&T).

Tried a 3rd party app and it crashed. What I need is a way to get my phone to think its an e971 (or an e973 since they have tie same hardware) again so I can install the right ROM because it fails when I try and flash the right ROM saying I have an e975.

Hi here is the dialer from newley released android 4.4.3.
In my opinion has a nice new UI
Just install as a regular app. Tested on xt1032 CM11. SHOULD work on any 4.4 ROM though.
Please Note. This will not replace the existing dialer, unless you manually copy to /system/priv-app/ and set permissions as -rw-r--r Then delete dialer.apk from same folder. Reboot. Done.

Firstly I install it just as normal apk. Then I copied it to priv-app, set permission, unset permission on stock dialler, rebooted and still can not see dialer icon.

Confirm on CM11 it works, but calling screen does not show. not receiving, not making calls.
Pushed manually to Priv-App, keept standard CM11 dialer, cleared data and cache on both = Google 4.4.3 dialer works as it should!
