Droid 2 screen template

Hi there,
I have searched high and low for a printable template for the Droid 2. I was forced to buy the Zagg universal screen protectors, and I want to cut it exactly to the Droid 2. Can anyone help??
I am not sure where you can get a template, but it might just be allot easier to buy some are made to fit the D2 and save yourself the trouble?
IE: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033ETD3U (Use these on my phone)
that was my original plan, but I am leaving for a cross country roadtrip and i needed something right away, otherwise I'd love to sit and wait for shipping on a pre-cut one
use your phone as the template.

Spiderpodium

Hello all,
I just ordered one of these, since I got the case for the extended battery, my current setup just doesn't cut it anymore. Does anyone have any positive things to say about it? I got it for a deal on Amazon, only paid 16 bucks for it. How hard is it to mount in the vents? And does the phone shake around when driving?
I need to fuss with it each time I use it to ensure that the phone is in tight and that it is mounted securely. Once I get in place, I've not had any problems with it shaking or coming loose.
I wasn't happy with how it mounted in the vents, but that is due more to the placement of the vents than anything else. Recently I've been attaching it so that it is suspended right below my rear-view mirror.
I thought I might also attach it to the back of the front seat to let my 2yr old watch movies on long trips, but when she saw it she forgot all about watching a movie and just wanted to play around with the spiderpodium.

Assistance with Car Holder

Hi There!
A few years ago I bought for my HD2, a air vent holder which has proved to be excellent. Recently I tried to move it to a new car, and broke a peice. I thought replacing the holder would be easy but most are junk compared to what I had. It's one bit that is broken and I am hoping someone might be able to look at this picture and tell me what this part is called or described as so I can just get another.

From the original which is :

I just one of those little spring clamps. I otherwise like my existing holder and I don't want one of the others which aren't as good (It's not about the price).
Anyone able to assist?

both your links are dead.
Sorry about that, fixed now.
The first picture has changed from the original, but it's the little spring bits separate from the holder I'd like to replace, or if I can find something similar to the original I'll take that as well.
I don't like suction cap options.
No-one able to assist with locating a similar peice or item?
Thanks if you can assist.
Hi,
i think it would be much easier to buy a new holder, than to look for a spare part to your holder..
or try to search in ebay for similar ones... something form china, so you dont have to spend much money for shipping. there you should find hundreds of different mounting systems. for example this one:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/for-HTC-Incr...084?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fbeb7afc
i think its a similar one, though it doesnt have a spring system. but i think this small plug should fit with your system...

S4 Active car/ bike/ Motorcycle holder (dedicated)

Hi all,
just e tip: a dedicated carholder for this phone is ahrd to find and a little expensive if i'm honest.
if you search for a dedicated carholder form LG G2 on Ebay or such, this will do just aswell. mind you, with a little creative puzzling.
the size between these phones is comparable....not EXACTLY the same.
i've taken a light and heated the corners and the 'clipping and unclipping thingy' without the phone in it one by one.
After heating, fitted the phone in and pressen on the each corner-part and pushed the holder around it.
It fits pretty good and will not snap out easliy.
be careful after applying a heat source......ths plastic can be VERY HOT. insert phone and press it onto a surface.
no promises on the result ofocurse.....just thought i'd share it........
I just wanted to add that I went a different direction with this, and it works great.
I bought a http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Samsung-Galaxy-Active-Unicorn/dp/B00DY2SEFE
Then I bought the quadlock mounts
The adapter for the phone
http://www.quadlockcase.com/products/universal-adapter
then bought the bike mount
http://www.quadlockcase.com/products/quad-lock-bar-mount-pro
and car mount
http://www.quadlockcase.com/products/quad-lock-car-mount
I attached the universal adapter to the back of my phone (easy easy compared to the otterbox stuff out there, since unicorn beatle case is uniformly flat already, it is why i chose it)
Now i attach it to my bike/car when I need to, and it doesnt make it too much bulkier. I actually have 2 cases, one with and one without the adapter, and I switch them out if I am going to go biking, or on a long trip where I might use the GPS.
there are really stable BikeMounts from Upmove:

Suggestions for Car Mount?

Hi there! I am looking for suggestions from the XDA forums for a car mount for the OnePlus One! You guys are pretty knowledgeable so I trust this being left in your hands
Even Universal mounts can be suggested, as there will be other family members using other phones(Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge or friends using iPhones).

I have the Koomus as well. It's major flaw is the part that pushes against the top of the CD slot may become loose as you remove the phone.
You can buy clones that attach to your vent or with VHB adhesive for as little as $4 from DX, aliexpress, etc.
http://www.brodit.com/productList.html?brand=OnePlus&model=One&pn=prod
you will need a car-specific hilder as well. its a little pricey but totally worth it (for me).
i have one of those for my Nexus 7 Tablet since some years, just works all fine
also used a specific holder for the Galaxy Nexus when I still owned the device.
cheers!
if you have a case, or if you are OK with removing your back cover and throwing a metal plate back there (this is what I did), this one works great!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HUIL310?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
you just have to tape down the metal plate. I placed mine back there and about a day later I started losing signal...the plate had fallen towards the bottom of the phone and must have been blocking some antennas or something. moved it up, taped it in place, and its been solid and working great since. I use this every day to and from work and anywhere else I go without it ever budging. its so nice not having to clip the phone in.
Search Xiaopimei on Amazon ! Amazing and very cheap !
Xiaopimei is great, I agree
I've been using the Brodit/Proclip (same thing) for about a year now, great stuff. I can highly recommend it
I've ordered
http://www.banggood.com/REMAX-RM-03-Mobile-Navigator-Car-Outlet-Bracket-p-982977.html
I heard its great, and its pretty cheap, and universal size phone can hook to it.

Remember to buy a Proclip for your specific car to mount on
My experience, over the last 7 years. I swear to always buy Herbert Richter (HR) mounts. (ebay or online German/UK stores)
Extremely durable plastic (don't want your phone to fall). Universal, also use the same mount on my bicycle, in other cars. Mine has now been in use for 5 years now (have 2). I use the universal one and I use the vent holder in the car. Doesn't block the view and in summer gets cooled down because the airco blows cold air on it. Also doesn't damage the phone and really holds it well.
Also very good experience with their customer support.
