Yeah, I put it on my AHD, and the temperature jumped to 102 in just a few minutes. I'm not really feelin' it, but I'll take a $16 app for $0 all day...

From Go? No way, still too expensive. I don't trust them.

I'm guessing this is a US only deal....it's still the price it is here

Yeah I tried it in the UK and it said activation code failed. I played with the lite version for a bit and, like most o these fancy looking launchers, I thought it was pretty rubbish. Back to Nova Prime.

Actually, I'm using tsf shell....its really polished tho, and not very bad on battery.

No horizontal mode - big pass on that.
Worthless without it IMO.

Code doesn't work as of a few hours ago....

[Q] platinum battery from best buy?

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it, I read somewhere that platinum series stuff is just seidio but I'm not sure. I got one of the Chinese batteries off amazon and I'm not impressed, and seeing how I work 5 minutes from best buy I was gonna sent by after work and pick one up. Just figured I would ask if anyone knows if they are worth the money or not.
EDIT: So I guess no one has used it before I guess I can be the first. Won't have it till like 4 PST so we'll see.

I have had one for a few months now, works great, I can go a couple days with no problem at all under "my" normal usage. I aso have one of the knockoff 3500 batteries and they seem similar as far as my usage goes, maybe a half hour or 45 mins more with the platinum. I'd say if you have the 60 bucks to drop do it you wont be dissapointed. I also have the case and holster combo from seidio that fits it and really like the setup. The case doesn't cover the whole outside of the phone, the top and bottom edges are exposed but seems to protect it well enough for me.
Yes the platinum series at best buy is seidio. I use the platinum series from best buy and it is the best investment I have made on my phone. With this battery I get 30 hours + batt life and I'm a pretty heavy user. So yeah get it if u can I have tried the Chinese ones and they suck compared to seidio/platinum series
Sent from my amazing super computer
I have the battery and my phone runs quite long, never really tired to run it out of battery though. Like everyone said it is just a rebranded seidio battery.

You won't be disappointed. I have 4 cheap chinese knockoffs that are 3500mah and they never lived up to what I thought they would be. I bought the Sprint branded 2600mah of a guy on here(which I think is also a Seido rebranded) and it lasts 2 days of my moderate usage easily even with the CPU overclocked at 1190. When I set the CPU to be 998 I usually have about 20-30% left after 2 days. It is well worth it. You will notice a difference.

I am going to be ordering one of these. Where can I get a good back cover for this, the one posted on eBay doesn't include a back cover. I want something that fits it well and doesn't have gaps.

Crossing over to the dark side

Well I have been working on getting a new job, which is why I have been away recently. And with the new job come a new iPhone 4S and iPad 2. This will be the first time I have ever played with apple products for an extended period. So I am looking forward to trying something new. But from the little I have played with them both I really wish it were a pair of android devices.
I will be the first to say congrats on a new job in this tough economy. I am sure it will be fun and from the sounds of it rewarding too.
On my Epic mobile phone.
This is a good ipad 2 video.

The iPhone 4 took a year and a half for untethered jailbreak for the most recent ios. To me, that is unacceptable. I hope you're making lots of money because the app store will certainly be taking lots of it. One suggestion i will make to anyone with that phone is, go to best buy and get the mophie juicepack plus. It's $100, but it's a good case with a 2000ma battery built in to complement the phone battery. Keep the switch on all the time to top off charge the phone battery all day. If you notice the battery percentage dropping but it still has the plug icon on the battery, turn the switch off then on and that will fix it. You might think that a hundred is crazy to pay for a case/battery. Let me put it to you this way, you can hammer on the phone all day and night with heavy everything usage and the phone will not go dead. Games, internet, streaming, videos, movies, whatever, you will be hard pressed to have the phone die on you. It makes the phone bigger and heavier but with 19 hours on and using the phone a lot and still have 40-60% battery left, that's pretty awesome in my book. That setup puts our extended life replacement batteries to shame!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56T_dpKmKBU&feature=youtube_gdata_player
You'll get longer battery run time if you let the mophie top off charge the already charged phone battery all day. If you do it like it is explained in the video, your run times between charges will be less.

He said he can't get through the day on the iPhone battery alone (funny my ET4g can) he loves the fact that it has a micro USB port to charge so he can use my charger or anyone else's, when he needs it. The case does look like a good case for the phone, I'd get one if they made one for mineo

I think its easier to hold with the back and I can get well over 6 hours screen time with the brightness up to about 75%. I got mine last weekend and I'm still amazed how long I use it and I get paranoid about the battery then look at it and its still all the way charged. I got the trexcell and its awesome so far. I'm at 13 hours on my charge right now with 1 hour and 2 minutes on the screen all web browsing and its at 75%.

I was just sick of battery being an issue for me on most Roms... And our phones are so slim already a little bulk don't hurt.
Which battery specifically did you get? I'm thinking of getting one myself actually, almost got stuck in the middle of a totally unknown location because my battery was almost dead. Not a fun predicament, I'll say that much.

The brand on it is qcell. I've had them about 4 months and they are easily as good as the OE battery. Though I believe they are advertised as 1950 as opposed to our 1800. For $20 you can't go wrong.

Went from the OG Note to the 2

Today I gave my son the OG Notr and bought the Note 2. Fast is the first thing that crossed my mind onbstock no less.
I received the multipane update and works fine. It almost feels like a smaller phone than the OG. I guess because its a tad more narrow. My smaller hands like that. Battery life noticeably better and I dont have power saving enabled but am on auto brightness. Speaker a little more clear and crisp. Voice calls are not as muffled. Screen looks good. Camera improved with HDR and extra features. I have a feeling a lot to read about new spen but will do that.
I bought this at BB for 249.00.

Anyone tried the Next Launcher?

It's a 3-D launcher made by the GoDEV folks. Looks pretty cool but you have to wonder how much of a battery hit you'd take running these 3D launchers. I'm sure the OG Pro has the horses to run thus thing, but at what cost. (Oh.. and it's "on sale" for $10 this weekend.

The trial gives you all the features for 36 hours so I as gonna do that. after 36 hours it cuts off some of the advanced features.
Another question is how many decent free themes are developed for it? So many themes seem to be about $2
