[Q]Best kitkat Rom for Sony Experia SL

I don't know if this is the right place of this post, if not please admin, tranfer in the right place thanks
Hi, ive buy a new phone and i root it and flash recovery, now the next step is to flash a rom that nearly stable for daily use.
Can you suggest what rom is nearly stable??
I see all kitkat rom have issue in random reboot, except Pure AOSP 4.4.3 by billchen1977 but i can't download this, the link (mega) not running the download bar, stuck, i waited 30 mins but not running, second link (mirro) says you need a permission in google drive. If someone suggest me a good KK rom or please provide me a mirror link of pure aosp..

U can download mega app in your phone... Then use that link to import that rom into YOUR mega account then download it to your phone... That's what I usually do..

So, I have flashed the ROM on Multi-Rom and now it won't boot up at all, are there any other things I would have to do to make it boot up and work?

Internet pass through
In Mobile network sharing I only see "USB Tethering option" and no "Internet pass through" option. May I ask how to connect my HTC to Internet through a PC or laptop?

I have tried atleast seven times to get this to work.. am I just not being patient?

I dont know but for some reason I cant flash sense roms because they hang -_- i cant mount cache and sometimes system..i was on TWRP 2.7 something, so i tried the latest and still doesnt flash right. Aosp based roms work though...

ROM Flashing Questions
Ok, just so I am clear, follow these Upgrade Phone Software and Firmware/Radios steps:
1. Download Rom (includes recommended kernel)
2. Download Firmware/Radio Zip (No Boot Image?)
3. Update Firmware/Radio
a. fastboot oem rebootRUU
b. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (Causes halt with did not finish message, re-run)
c. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
d. fastboot reboot-bootloader​(Firmware and Radios are now updated)
4. Full wipe and flash new ROM using TWRP Recovery (which writes the boot and system partitions)
A few Questions:
I see terms like “Firmware” and “Radios”. I know what firmware is. Does “firmware” mean Bootloader and “radios” mean wireless firmware? Where do they get flashed to? Is there some special reserved flash memory that stores that software? Sometimes I see “firmware” what includes new “radios”. Does that mean that it’s a single zip package with both bootloader and radio software? Because I know that you can install them separately.
Let’s say I have KitKat and I install the newest firmware (bootloader and radio combo) as required for Lollipop before I flash my new Lollipop ROM (as the instructions always seem to say to install the firmware and radios first). Will I still be able to use my phone with KitKat? Or will that break my original ROM or not allow me to use the wireless capabilities until I wipe and flash the Lollipop ROM? Are they backward compatible?
Any explanations and/or links to help me understand this better would be greatly appreciated.

Been running 5.0.2 version of this rom for a few days now and I've got to say. I love it! Everything works: Bluetooth, mms, camera, you name it. Plus, great battery life: 3-4 hours screen on time.
The only thing missing for me is visual voicemail. Does a VVM app that is compatible with lollipop even exist. I did a bit of a search and found one apk that installs and opens. But it is unable to connect to voicemail box. Any ideas?

Has anyone attempted to encrypt their phone on this ROM? I need it for EAS.
I do not want suggestions on how to avoid the security functions.

Group sms doesn't appear to be working in the sms app. I used to resolve this on other roms like viper by flashing a Verizon modded apk that andybones did. Any chance of getting stock messaging to work on this before Verizon drops the new official sense 6 messaging apk?

Actually , hangouts works pretty sweet with the lollipop notifications. This is fine as is.

Dark Google boot animation
I had the same problem with the dark Google boot animation. It would just sit there and spin. If I turned the phone sideways I could see half of the first page of start up instructions. Choosing a different boot animation got me to the setup wizard. Thanks for the ROM.

Hello I am about to install this rom and have been looking over the thread a bit to make sure i dont run into any problems during or after install. I saw somebody saying that they had no wifi on their device after install. is this something that i should be concerned about? currently running google plus edition.

i installed miui 5, but i got normal hotspot and no problems. If you mean that.

I used MiUI 6 and got the problem that my hotspot is not showing in other phones and same problem got in aosp.4.4.4

If i were you, i would try to install the Rom again. If the problem still appears, then change the Rom. But don't use Miui 5. I tryed it, but the problem ist that the battery hasn't got that much "power". I am not the best in the whole Rom thing, but if i can help you anyway, then just contact me and i will give my best

I've flashed this rom and the problems facing are
1- internal storage is only showing around 2 gb whereas in real its 8gb
2- nothing could be completely installed from playstore and even for small in size apps it always shows that this is file is big in size use WiFi
3- where soever there is login in apps the moment I click on username or password the app will stop working.
4- I've a rooted device but after flashing this rom I don't have root access so m unable to uninstall the bloatware.
The miui 5.5.8 link is not working. Whenever I try to download the file it only downloads a file of 0kb

After downloading the ROM is not over TWRP install. twrp write canot open the zip file

really improved in performance than5.5.7 but still the problems are
1- still 2gb available space which leads to failing in downloading apps.
2- small size apps too asks for WiFi.
3- still no root access so can't uninstall the bloatware

Some time ago I was able to upload at him Cyanogena 12.1 everything beautifully, a few things did not work perfectly (it was not a version stable) on xda saw an android version 6.0.1 of BlissRom, only that the global versions of the Note 2, and I could not upload .. Hey can someone provide high speed server for downloading the custom rom, because mostly downloading server does not provide high speed, it takes hours to download or sometimes it the server crashed and downloading start from the beginning again. SIPOTEK

You can download through XDA just search and you will find the results.
