Hi, please see my post in old thread

I am having a problem with this rom. It runs great and is surprisingly fast and smooth. But I just saw in F-Droid that the rom reports that it does not provide android.hardware.telephony. This wonders me because I am able to call.

Is there any possible to have 5.0 running on our device?

The easiest way to install recovery is by using that app , any way if your not able to install via application then you must try fastboot or use secondary app like flashify to install recovery . And i really don't know about flash able zip file files for recovery !!

zip files are easy. . . . download, boot into clockworkmod, select install zip fiel, boom! done.
This useless app won't even install. all it does is give me stupid information about what a release candidate is...well least I get my refund. back to square one.
Can anyone help me install a new version of clockwork mod? for desire z/G2 PLEASE?

I have one question and a short unrelated diatribe. My question is: I just rooted a G2, and this was the first rom I installed. Occasionally I'm losing service/gps etc and I'm assuming I just need to update the radio. Through my research I understand I'll need a matching RIL file for my rom to accompany the radio firmware update. How would I do that for this rom? Or do I need to?
On an unrelated note, I'd like to say thanks so much for continuing to provide nightlies for this phone. I just bought a G2 because the form-factor/hardware feature-set is perfect for me and is also super rare/no longer produced (qwerty slide-out kb, trackpad). Having the hardware feature-set along with up-to-date functional software to boot is HUGE for me. Especially considering the latest nightly upload patched stagefright. KitKat runs almost flawlessly considering the fact that I overclock to 1.5Ghz (didn't seem to effect battery life), reduce animations, don't use the gapps package / google play framework and shy away from bloated apps (besides spotify). With a little thought and creativity in configuration and app selection I have no major issues. For example, good ol brut mod gmaps runs super fast (with some bugs). The classic rolle tube modded youtube app works better than any version of google's youtube app ever has and it even lets me shut off the screen when listening to music.
I've always been bothered by the fact that the android after-market rom dev community seems to mostly abandon projects and let them drift into link-rot hell about as fast as manufacturers put out new phones. No disrespect to the people volunteering their time to make old phones last a couple more years, but when a dev puts themselves out there as a service provider I believe there's a certain degree of responsibility that comes with the implied trust and reliance others are giving the dev by using their rom. So anyways thanks for keeping this one alive. If development ever dries up for the G2 I'll likely roll up my sleeves and figure out rom dev for myself.

It is not possible to type numbers or symbols with fn+letter on the hardware keyboard. exept [email protected] gives a !.
I tried serveral language mappings but it is always the same result.

This rom is really nice but i am not able to get network on both the sim cards
Initially i thought it's because of imei no
So i restored imei no using Mobile uncle tools but still no luck..
I flashed the stock rom and restored the imei no again, it all works fine..
Just make sure if i have done everything right, i flashed this rom again but no luck
Tried almost 3 times..
Everything it failed, i reverted back to stock and flashed this again..
Everytime, stock rom works fine..

Yeah I installed 0.19
I just flashed CM11 0.19 on MMX c4 today, it was my first kitkat rom though and just loved it but there was a sim card bug. It would throw "Restricted Voice Data Access" & "Restricted Data Access" for sim1 & sim2 respectively. And on some one of the thread it was suggested to restore the imei number through mobile uncle tools if not shown in settings>about phone>status; I also dialed *#06# which only showed 1 imei number. But then too, I m unable to register to a network. Due to which I again switched to MIUI v5 Please guyz help me to get out of this plzzz !!

Installed ROM but I have some bugs
1 Multi Sim doesn't work even though i tried the commands in emulator. Please work on this as soon as possible.
2. Could not do USB data transfer, only charging and USB debugging options are available. Rather i dont know how to do data transfer.
3. In camera, I can take pictures but could not record video. The app crashes when tried to capture a video.
4. You can include android market in the ROM.

I installed this ROM and tested it. This is my first custom ROM installation. But the steps that you had mentioned were clear enough which helped me to install without any hurdles. But please add an instruction to install gapps in the end of installation. For a beginner like me doesnt know how to install play store to get other apps.
I also go the same bugs as reported in bug list:
1. Only one SIM works and it hurts. I am staying in a different state than my hometown. I keep going to my home town often. And so I bought this dual sim mobile, So this custom ROM is a bit negative for me. I hope the developers will work on it soon. Thanks in advance.
2. Video mode in Camera doesn't worked for me.
3. Tried installing whatsapp with ART runtime. I tried many times but I could not. Then I found that its the problem with runtime. Later I changed to the old runtime, rebooted and installed whatsapp without errors. After this I edited the runtime to ART and re-booted it.
4. USB debugging is working fine but I could not data transfer through USB.

This rom is simply superb....great work bro.....this is very first time i am installing any custom rom to my canvas 4.....i have successfully installed this rom and followed the instructions carefully...every thing is working fine but when i connect my mobile to my pc its not working as MASS STORAGE device..in fact my pc is not at all recognizing it as a mass storage so i am not been able to transfer any file from my pc....please help me to solve this.....other bugs are i)video recording and ii)hotspot.....

The rom works great and smoothly. I am facing a little problem, i can not connect to wifi. It gets stuck at "obtaining IP address".
It was working fine with CM 10.1.

Main Bugs
Camera quality worse than stock Sense ROMs.
Camcorder recording framerate is very low.
Panoramas generated are not correct.
Data disconnects randomly sometimes.
USB Tethering does not work (i. e. Using phone as modem doesn't work).
All in all, these bugs are very very minor, as the Camera on the whole works.
So I've been using your rom for quite some time now, and I obviously like it

Could you fix the ota updater because the ota updater id is empty and i can't check if there is a newer version of the rom and when I click to check it manually it says invalid request and could you tell me how you got the status bar to be transparent on mine is always black btw awesome rom

I installed WFS 11.0 - weekly v(6.0) on my wildfire s but there was no google market in the menu. I downloaded last version of Google Play apk then installed but It isn't opened. when I click on, it seems as if it's opening but half second of black screen and closes the app. how can I install google play ?

It keeps saying its unable to run the updater binary, any chance you can release a version of your rom which includes google apps?
(also it says the Fly-On mod is missing the GPL license.)

not sure if it's just me but everytime I open the music app and play music the DSP manager always crashes.

3g not working and apn keeps unloging me from network, when disabled no probs except no internet... Any ideas?
E: switched wifi hotspot on and disabled adb and it worked...
E2: guess it is just usb debbuging, works fine with bouth off
E3: had some more weird issues then reinstalled rom and all works fine now. I love it, fast and stable. [emoji2]

Hi, i have got this rom for 2 weeks. At the beginning it was fast etc. Now it cant even kepp launcher in memory? When i want to open any app for few mins, then i wan to back to homescreen it is loading all apps and widgets.. Also i cant back to my apps which i used few seconds/minutes ago cuz it's loading like a new open. When i had viperx 4.2.2 it could keep uc browser and some pages for few weeks, and when i wanted to open, it took 1 second for me. Now im feeling like on my 1st galaxy spica.
Is that normal?

Second Q, are videos in browsers woring ok for You? I have to restart HOX sometimes if i want to watch someting. And is there any solution to watch videos like on PC? I mean, my player is everywhere the same. It's annoying becouse, sometimes i have to change resolution but i cant, also i cant turn on full screen mode second time, i have to releod page, then watch it on full screen.

I tried to install your latest version crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru on my HTC One X but I got only an infinit HTC image. I am not very familiar with this things but I think I did what the instructions said:
- start on recovery mod (I am using TWRP v2.6.0.0, the one I used the only time I installed a custom rom);
- installed "crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru" and "pa_gapps-stock-5.0.1-BETA12-20150116-signed" and did a data wipe in the end;
- reboot.
As I said, after restarting, I get the HTC start image and nothing progresses. Any idea what I am doing wrong (and how to make my phone back to work)?

I seem to be having problems with the wi-fi when I change the DPI. I set it to 240, it restarts just fine but the wi-fi doesn't turn on anymore. any solutions? thanks

If you put the ROM zip on your PC and open the zip file (not unzip) you'll see a boot.IMG inside,extract the boot.IMG to your pc. I'm assuming you've got the fastboot controls on your PC.

recently I've installed the ROM wich is a great build I must say. The experience is smooth and I haven't got any random reboots. But when I reboot the phone, it gets stuck on the HTC logo. After 3 reboots it will work normal again. Sometimes the WIFI doesn't work after a reboot and I have to reboot it again.
Not experienced anymore in build 20150210
Another problem I have is that the AdBlocker isn't working (I still have advertisements in apps) although I've downloaded the latest host files.

Probably some things are fixed in the newest build, but I can't find the changelog of it on XDA. It's there! And how do I update my ROM (I am used to OTA updaters, idea?)? Just dirty install the new ROM?
The answer is dirty flashing. (just install the ROM and clear cache and dalvik (I guess))

Thank you team for a very good rom. I have an HTC One X [Endeavoro] and have experimented with many roms over time. I always fall back onto JB Sense 5 Blade Elite 2.0 with Lyapota mods flashed.
The CM KitKat roms just didn't tick all the boxes for me. Functionality v battery life.
But I am so impressed with this Rom, especially so early in the development.
With crdroid 5.0.2-20150210, I am running the native launcher with PA Gapps mini. Touch recovery 6.0.4.8 gave me a problem restoring the back up but after allowing root access in dev options (I don't know if that made a difference) and flashing twrp-recovery-hox-2.8.1.0 the twrp back up restored perfectly. The Rom is so smooth, battery life is great and everything works!

Something that bugs me is the fact that I can't choose wich page of my homescreens is my home-homescreen.
If you hold your finger on the screen and the pages display, there is a small home icon at the top of your current home screen, just move it to the one you want, It works.

But a question...can you make a rom for Games only like disabling such apps etc

Two big issues
I installed this ROM, I am facing two issues;
1. Screen Flickering
2. eroot is successful but superuser cannot update SU binary, hence this ROM cannot be rooted. This is the main reason I am going back to B321
If you have solution for the 2nd problem, then this ROM is one of the best until now.

Rom seems stable cant find anything not working, root would be nice, only problem is advanced reboot into recovery seems to hang?

to fix the flickering use the kernel of official b321, just using the tool mkbootimg_tools_master extract the boot.img from this rom, then replace the zimage from there and put the zimage from the official b321 boot.img, also modify the img_info file and replace the value of the size of kernel for this "5261524" without quotes, then repackage it and flash the new boot.img using the command "sudo fastboot flash boot boot.img" in bootloader mode, and the problem is gone, the problem occurs cause they use the zimage from gold_concert instead the official from huawei that is basically the kernel with the correct features, sorry if i have errors or "horrors" in my english

Could not download or save attachment and gallery
I have flashed with this ROM and I must say that is runningbsmooth. Though I have issue that I could not save anything whether gmail or WhatsApp attachment. Also I could not see gallary images.
Can somebody guide me what I am doing wrong.

Yes, I think the main reason is ROM is blocking writable access to internal memory. Without root I could not do it and that is the reason I am getting this error. Please let me know if this rom can be rooted or not?
