Hello everybody,
my moms Desire HD suddenly had no signal so I decided to reboot it, that didnt help. So I powered it off and removed battery and inserted again, and now the phone is stuck at the boot screen. The rom is ViperDHD.
I wanna avoid having to re-install rom, because I need backup of text messages and contacts, is there anything I can do?
Whenever I try to boot into recovery mode (volume up+power), the notification LED simply blinks (orange). It doesnt boot, but simply blinks until I remove battery.
Recovery mode is volume down + power not vol up...

Hi Guys last night my DHD was on low battery until power eventually switched of this morning i tried to recharge it and it gets stuck on white htc logo, i tried flashing my stock rom it does work, i would i go about flashing cwm 2.5xx if i cant get the phone to boot ? Please help I have rooted it and did a eng s-off long before this happened.
Apologies if you've already tried this,
If you remove battery & then hold the volume down button & power button until you get into the bootloader. Then select 'recovery', that will take you back to clockworkmod & you can restore or flash a new Rom from there

I've tried clear storage on the boot menu, but it's still stuck on the white "htc EVO 4G screen"
If your phone boots then you are not bricked. Bricked is when the phone does not turn on at all...no recovery, no white screen, no nothing...what have u tried to do to it so far??? more info please
Go into recovery.
Pull battery.
Replace battery.
Hold the vol- down and power buttons.
Choose Recovery.
Choose Restore and select your Nandroid.
Worst case, reinstall the ROM.
Also, what was the last thing you did before this happened?
I know some ROMs require a long time to boot during the initial reboot after flashing.

Hi guys, I used RSD lite to flash 2.3.3 Orange GB
But then i found that my camera was not working and there was problem in network reception. So then installed the stock rom 2.2 for India.
So then when installation was complete after flashing it to the stock rom, i plugged out my phone as the lock screen was there on the phone but there ws still some processing going on in RSD lite, although it showed that the process was done 100%.
Then all of sudden phone restarted, Then there was a message on black screen, " Cannot load boot rom, low battery. i don't remember the actual words of the message.
The i charged the phone and then its stuck at the android logo. it does pass the motorola logo but get stuck at the android logo.
What should i do?
P.S. The power button and volume buttons are not showing me the exclamatory sign above android when press them or both the volume buttons.
Please Help.

Hi everyone,
I got my HTC One back on launch day and unlocked the boot loader through htc dev while that still worked. Last night I wanted to restore my phone to stock so I could run rumrunner's s-off utility. I restored my phone with the RUU and everything seemed to be going fine. The phone booted up on the stock sense rom fine. I rebooted the phone once and was presented with a software update type screen. After 10 minutes or so the progress bar hadn't moved. I held the power and volume buttons to force a shutoff and now I am stuck in a bootloop.
The phone vibrates and displays a white screen with the green htc logo for 8 seconds and then cuts to black for 5 seconds. As far as im adware I cant get the phone into recovery or get it to connect to fastboot. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Try holding down power button and volume down at the same time this will manually put you into bootloader mode then see if you can get to recovery from there .

Are you able to get to the bootloader menu at all? If so, there is hope.
I installed DN3 v3.0 2 days back. The phone was working fine. Today I installed an app from outside and was using it until my phone battery went low. SO I swapped the battery as I normally do. But this time phone wouldn't boot. It is stuck in a boot loop. As I put the battery, PHONE WOULD AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON!!!
And it will stick on the " samsung galaxy note2" screen. Then the screen would go black for a second or two and repeat. I pulled out the battery and put it back, again the same. I tried putting back the old battery, but in vain.
I cannot access recovery mode, and when I try to enter download mode, the phone would stick to that screen where it asks either to press volume up or volume down button to enter or exit download mode, and then again it would try to boot and stuck to boot screen.
Please help me, I don't know what to do.
