High Def Wallpapers 05/12/12

Hi, I re-sized a lot of wallpapers I had collected from all over the place, and figured I share them. Most are 1440x2560 or 720x1280. There is all kinds of different ones, like nature, abstract, animals, and Abe Lincoln holding a M16 and the Declaration of Independence while riding a grizzly bear. You know nice stuff.
Anyways I'll keep adding more and more over time. Please feel free to post your own wallpapers because I'm always looking for new ones to add to the collection. Thanks

Here's a nice way to set these if your launcher makes you choose a different shape, and you can select multiple pics to use at once if you choose.

Before you do that you should know that these pics are the wrong size for the Nexus. Our resolution size is 1440x1280. However they are good looking pics and I look forward to a fix so I can use some of these!

Oh these are meant just to fit to the 720x1280 screen of the Nexus or really any 720p mobile screens, a lot of launchers let you chose the actual shape of the screen which always made sense to me. Anyways if your launcher doesnt you can just use this from the market it's free and really nice cause you can set multiple pics or just one if you want.

[Wallpapers] Sense 5 scroll wallpapers (1440X1280)

Sorry to post this. I play a little with photoshop, i´m not a photoshop guru but i think they fit nice in homescreen.
I made this cause the scroll wallpaper is a must feature in Sense.

[THEME] - Cool Buzz Launcher

Just recently got my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and was bored with the ui. I went on Googles very own PlayStore and did a search on launchers. I then came across a launcher called Buzz Launcher. Took me some time to put this together. Once you get the hang of it all is easy.
Take a look let me know what you think!

All you have to do is download the Buzz Launcher from the PlayStore!
If you want to sport the theme i created you can, once you download the launcher go to the category that says 'New".
Then you will see my theme there! let me know how all turns out.

Hey,
Once you download the launcher and set up an account, you will see a variety of templates to choose from. Once you have made your decision on which you would like, you can change certain things about the layout and make it look how you want it to look.
*Be sure to download "Buzz Custom Widget". this will allow you to set headings and etc. very important!

Wallpaper from nightly ROM

I do not root but I saw an ad for a nightly rom
I am interested in the multi colored wallpaper.
The horizontal striped one.
I recall seeing it somewhere before this ROM but I can't remember.
Could someone help.

Go to play store and download jellybean apex/nova theme. I belive it comes with the wallpapers you want.

I have that and a lot others. No luck. I believe obese it recently with the One or a Rom or some other phone. I appreciate a LOT your time helping.

So horizontal stripes/waves? Can you remember anything about the colour?
Have you checked out the stock One wallpapers to see if it's a stock wp?

All of a sudden, on Nova, when I longpress and hit wallpaper I no longer get a list. It is in a very nice grid

Did CM team updated their wallpapers to 1080x1920?

Is this the wallpaper you're talking about? It's multicolored horizontal lines. I believe this is from the ParanoidAndroid application (not part of the included wallpapers on the ROM however).

1080x1920 Wallpaper Thread

So... now that we are at a full 1080x1920 on our phone screens... I've found it to be particularly frustrating to find good wallpapers that match this resolution. So I started cropping larger images today in my free time. I also collected a lot of 640x1140 images that look great on our phone. I put them all in a zip file and will link it here.
Feel free to keep the thread ongoing and post your own favorites. Just be sure to keep it limited to High Resolution and quality images. Nothing less than 640x1140. Cheers. :good:

BTW, its silly that it works this way. But you have to single left click on the preview that XDA generates. It will open open the image in a new page and you'll have the full 1080 resolution then.

what do you guys use to resize your pics. every site i usually go to dont support the height of 1920.
Also, i would recommend this site for wallaper downloads http://wallbase.cc/home by far the best i have used.
Note: im also open to software suggestions other then photo shop.

Tried with android versions to unzip but it won't. So I have to do it on pc and then transfer the wallpapers I guess.

wallpaperswide.com is where I go. I download the 2560x1920 resolution of the images. Then I open the images in Microsoft Photo Editor. The one that comes with Office 2010. You can easily use that to crop off 1480 pixels, left or right.

But for proper rotation, isn't the standard wallpaper size for this phone 1920x1920?
I only like black wallpaper on my phones, but Im pretty utilitarian and want the most battery life out of a phone.

I highly recommend the Wallbase app. You can go to settings and configure it to look for any size you want.
