[ROM][5/13/11] Xperia_Vision Gingerbread Leak (v1.0)

Heres a little project iv been working the past 3 days, This is the recent Stock vision rom that got leaked themed to look like the xperia arc rom, there might be a few png left to theme here and there, also the lock screen is a work in progress so iv included a flashable zip for you guys to get the default lock screen back.
There is also an issue with the Launcher its not properly aligned. Nothing to serious it fully functional, any ways there are fixed version of the launcher but I can't get them to work, so il work on that too.
Yes this is the stock vision leak themed

Is the dock normally that... fat?

are the icons that are placed on the dock supposed to be that low?

read the decription guys, it clearly states the launcher mis aligned not by much, there fixed versions but they domt seem to work.for me , theres a link to them on the op, =
edit. yo can replace the launcher if it bothers you.

I cannot for the life of me find in the OP where it states that the dock is misaligned, it only says for the lockscreen.

Ahhh please update regularly! I've been wanting a stock xperia rom, definitely will flash when updated for daily use!

nope only the launcher, app icons have nothing to do with the launcher.

thanks man i love adw but this one is good. I'm not sure yet about switching.

The launcher for this rom is sweet. I did get some fc's when I removed the picture and video widget from the homescreen. I simply cleared the launcher data and its all fine. Besides that everything works perfectly.

yea its pretty nifty and fast, i actually like this stockinsh rom XD.

Rom is available in rom manager enjoy.

Works great but doesn't work with some of the widgets like calender, agenda, days. It will be great if you can fix it.

I get a total crash every time I send an sms lol... not really something I can live with.

Is this not TW 4 -enhanced?

Looks a lot better than the original but I'm getting FCs all over the place making it pretty much unusable at the moment. Back to ADW for me.

When installing this launcher I lose my dock icons except from the applications shortcut.
How can I re-add phone/messaging etc?

open the app drawer -> menu button -> edit -> drag icons into the dock

Hi, I tried to flash the tw4.zip from recovery, but it says installation aborted..
Any ideas why?

Eugene's gb launcher. Keep it clean. Add overscroll and CRT off and work from there. Maybe check out screens for trigger on the vibrant dev forum. Its amazing.

I'm glad you were able to add go launcher ex in your poll. I have the paid version of ADW & LP, yet the GLex has me set as default (it's free and I would pay for it any day).
Btw, do you want me to post link to that port idea I had earlier?

sure if you would like my favorite launcher is spb shell but most people are too cheap to buy it

I've tried TW, Go Launcher, and Launcher Pro, and I prefer Launcher Pro the most. Before I vote however, I read an off handed comment somewhere about TW being optimized to use the hardware, while the others lack this because they're launchers for the generic android community. Is there anything to that? I haven't really made back and forth comparisons to try to see a difference myself, so I'm hoping to be lazy and have someone else tell me the answer

This is a super awesome idea!!!!!!
All i want is the k spec battery you had on your 3.2 version. the blue circular battery but maybe a green one to keep it asop looking.
The lockscreen options would be a good add.
I use adw ex but any launcher is good.
Thats all i can think of right now.

I have SPB Shell (biggest problem I have with it is that there is no transition effects sliding between homescreens - 2D, everything else is cool) and I agree, people don't want to pay $15.
Also my launcher of choice: Go Launcher Ex
Theme choice (specifically the dialer) below links would be REALLY COOL!

I want them.... well maybe just a extra folder for those who don't want them. That way they can just delete them.

It is, thank you for that. I love it... There were a lot of glitches and the weather widget didn't work, I had to fine tune it for the E4GT and there were libs and framework files missing from all the ones I found... I don't know how they worked on any phone

Guess I didn't really even think about the fact that the weather widget was a part of the launcher. That's where my "about time" came from. Was thinking maybe it was a mod so that the widget could be used on any launcher in asop. :crying:
Oh well I'm sure the S4 launcher is nice. Will try and pull myself away from nova for a while.

Yeah none of the TW weather widgets work without the launcher, sorry.... not even on TouchWiz.

Hey Shadow, try using the files from the zip on TouchWiz... maybe it will work. I believe the apps need to go to preload instead of system but it doesn't hurt to try. And you can use it if it works.

Change Icons in Pixel Launcher?

Has anybody figured out a way to change the icons in the Pixel Launcher? I found I can use Awesome Icons to swap them out but it won't let me change the icons in the dock.
I have nothing against Nova Launcher but would prefer to use the stock Launcher.

That's called the dock. I don't quite know what your looking to do though. You said you can use Awesome Icons to swap them out, but can't change them?? You'd likely need an app to allow icon changes. I use Nova launcher to allow various icon packs to be used, but not sure if that's what you want.

Thanks for the info. Updated op. Not sure why I couldn't remember dock (not enough coffee). My issue is that I can change all the icons except the ones in the dock. I will probably end up using Nova but would like to find a way to do this in Pixel Launcher.

This works great. Saw it somewhere else but no download link so I assumed it wasn't any good anymore. Can't get it to do packs but works great individually. Very happy with this. Thanks so much (later).

This is the exact issue I've been trying to solve. Did anyone ever find a non-rooted option for switching the apps in the dock drawer?
Just got my Pixel 2 XL yesterday. Will eventually root but wanted to try to see how far I could get on stock.
