Hello everybody,
I have an Lt18i today after doing a few things at home I went to check in my phone and it was off, I thought it was out of battery but now when I plug it I only see a flashing red light on the led, couldn't get to fastboot or anything, complety death. I have the bootloader unlocked so no warranty btw I was using Fusion 3.5 with FXP 142 if that helps. Also tried to connect it to the computer but it doesnt recognize the computer.
Thanks a lot for your help in advance, Im quite desperate already I dont know what else to do.
Best regards
Remove battery
Hold the power button for more than 5 seconds
Clean the microconnection with toothpick
Reinsert battery
Connect AC-adapter
Leave the phone if it doesnt start automaticly
Now, reconnect AC-adapter every 30 minutes.
Look at your battery, is it deformed?
If yes, its dead.
Try other batteries.
Connect to AC-adapter without battery and try to turn it on.

Well yesterday I flashed P.A.C Rom and when the device battery was on 0% the phone shuted down and after that I connected it to the charger to charge it again but I have a red light and the device doesn't reacts. Tried to to hard reset and everything but It doesn't helps.
Please help
I had this problem as well. You have to wait till your phone turns on (takes 10-15 mins) and boot into recovery. Flash another kernel with offline charging and it should work from there

Can you explain please which kernel should I flash?
Phone boots for 5 sec every 15 minutes and then it turning off again.
if you drained the battery during flashing to absolute 0% then it wont turn on immediately when you plug in the charger..wait for about 30minutes before starting the phone again..and dont flash when you are low on juice..always keep at least 50% battery :good:
Ok ,everything is ok now. I had another replacement battery so I used it and flashed stock rom on the device. After that changed to the original battery again and charged the phone offline.
Hi,
I need help with my xperia ion lt28h..
After installing a .zip (Smooth ion) through CWM Recovery, my phone restarted n booted up normally to the lock screen. After i unlocked the screen, it went blank so I pressed the power button and the normal power off button (and some others) appears, so i power off the phone and it went to a boot loop.
I tried pressing the Volume up + power button and connecting it to flashtool by pressing the volume down button and inserting the usbto flash a new firmware but nothing appeared on flashtool
I tried the Volume up + power button again and again and still nothing.. I then pressed Volume up + power button again but longer and received 2 or 3 vibrations (i can't remember) and now the phone is just Dead. No Screen,No LED light, nothing :'(
I tried charging it for 2+ hours and tried connecting it to my pc to see if it does anything but apparently nothing happens.
Somebody please help me :'( This is my only phone and I have no other

Check out this thread here or in general discussion, about recovering phone from soft brick, now after hard reset (10 secs volume up and power button) you probably need wait until your battery is dead (about 40-60 hours). You've got unlocked bootloader so you need to be patient, and you need to take care about your phone. You can damage it more. If you don't understand something from that thread, feel free to ask community.

GUIDE to Solve problem
Managed to Recover my phone to good as new!
Full Guide:
Let the phone charge for 4+ hrs on wall charger (No LED).
After 4-6 hours, Red LED should appear flashing. After a few hours, Red LED should be constant. Continue charging for 25+ hours on wall charger until Red LED disappears or turns Green.
Unplug from wall charger
Run flashtool from PC, flash a stable firmware. Do not plug in phone to PC until it asks to.
While holding volume down, plug in USB - May take up to 10 minutes for the phone to be connected and flashing to begin
Green LED will appear and after a few seconds - flash will run.
Unplug USB and Charge with wall charger.
Phone should be back up and running.

You Need 2 Things First..
1. Flashtool by @Androxyde
2. A Stock ftf File.
For solving the soft brick problem you should read this thread : by our own moderator @ToledoJab
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
If you have any questions or further problems. Feel free to message me.
Basically If See the LED Lights on Phone You need to ..
Start flashtool
Click the lightining button
Go to flashmode
Select the stock firmware which you downloaded. (Place it in C:/Flashtool/firmwares)
Connect the phone holding Volume Down Button When Prompted.
Let the Phone finish flashing
Thats it. This should work.

Quick Question, Connect the phone only when the Flashtool asks you to do.

(Your phone will respond & should respond to fastboot and flashmode only when charge is more then factory charging (50%) or allows flashes in between charging cycles)
Ok Now I Understand Your Problem,
Assuming you know the basics of flashing STOCK ROM via Flashtool
Do Not HARD RESET 3 Vibrations. Recovering From This Deep Level Of Soft Brick Is Very Hard, Takes Lots Of Time.
First of All, Please Connect Your Phone To The Wall Charger. Untill it Turns Green. This will Take a Long Time.
You can Work On Your Phone i.e Flashing And Stuff only When it is charged enough for working conditions.
On a working phone there are different stages of a battery's charging cycle. The stages are listed in order they happen. The cycle goes from a completely dead battery through a phone running on battery and back to a completely dead battery.
Dead battery. No response from the power button, no screen and no led.
Connect to charger
Low battery level charging mode. This is when just the RED led is on and no screen. At this stage the battery's charge is to low to turn the phone on, but it is charging.
Kernel controlled off-line charging mode. This is when the battery has charged enough from step (3) and boots the kernel to charge the battery. The phone is off, but could be turned on using the power button. A quick press of the power button will show this battery icon. Icon will fill with charge.
The kernel also controls charging when the phone is on.
Battery is fully charged. Green LED. You Can Start To Recover Your Phone.
Unplug the phone and turn on.
Battery is dead from normal use.
Repeat stages starting at (1)
If your phone is not working but you see a led or have bootloops DO NOT USE HARD-RESET. This can make your phone lock/freeze up until the battery dies. It can take as much as 60hours to die.
How to Recover?
First Calm Down And Understand The Next Few Point. @ronex1234
The memory chips need lose power to clear the bad data and reset the phone. Either by the battery going dead or by unplugging the battery.
You can to leave the phone on a charger to see when the battery dies. Usually the battery will not charge in a soft-brick state and will die while still plugged in. After the reset you should then get the red led. However if you get a red led immediately when first plugged in and no response but red led for a long time, then you may need to leave the phone unplugged and let the battery die.
Only after the chips reset will you get the red led. The RED LED should mean the phone is charging in 'low battery level charge mode'.
Once you get the red led, after the reset, do NOT try to turn on the phone. If you try to start the phone now without fixing the problem you will have to start all over.
This is what you need to do, Read Carefully.
keep charging with wall charger. A charger has a higher current rate and should charge faster than a PC.
Make flashtool ready to flash your stock.ftf file. If you are experiencing errors while flashing the entire ROM try to flash just the kernel, check off all in the exclude box except kernel. At this point your battery is very low and doing this will make the flash process much faster than trying to flash the entire ROM.
Try to connect phone in flash-mode. If your phone has enough battery you will get green led. If the flash fails on the first try, just put it back on the charger and wait about 10-30 minutes and repeat. It may take a while to charge enough to flash.
If you see the red led go out, then try for flash-mode.
If you get bootloops, try to flash between loops. As soon as you notice loop, hold volume down and plug the phone into PC with FlashTool ready. Once the loop starts you have very little time to flash, before the loops drain the battery. If you can not flash, the battery will have to die and phone reset. Then start over with red led.
After you complete the flash, unplug the phone and see what happens. Sometimes it will boot to Sony screen and then shut off by itself, if so plug in to a charger. You should get the red led then the battery charging screen then. After about 20 minutes of red led.
If you get a green led (for flash mode) then press the power button until 1 vibration. The green led should flash 1 time. This will end flashmode and start the phone. If you don't end flashmode the phone will still give a green led whenever plugged in, but it will not charge, until the battery dies and the phone resets again.
If you were able to flash the entire stock.ftf file and your phone has gone from red led to the charging screen, then your phone should now be recovered and turn on normally.
If you could only flash the kernel then you will get bootloops. Again you can unplug and try a hard-reset to turn off the phone. If hard-reset works plug in charger and wait for red led and then charging screen.
If you don't do a hard-reset, the phone boot looping should kill the battery and then plug in charger (this is what I did). Then wait for red led and then charging screen.
Now you should have a good kernel and the phone plugged in. You should have the charging screen with the battery icon and led for 'off-line charge mode'. Charge until over 50%. A quick press of the power button will bring up the charging screen.
Once over 50% then flash the full stock.ftf with a full wipe.
If you got this far but still cannot flash a full stock.ftf file then try to use PC Companion software to REPAIR your phone. Make sure battery is more than 50%.
If all fails then post a copy of the FlashTool log in this thread.

For Me It took Nearly 52 Hours To Die.
If you are too much in hurry..
You can even try to open the case and unplug the power chord from the motherbord of xperia
There are many tutorials to do so.
But i'd not recommend that.
The Idea is to Reset the Memory Chip of the phone my providing power to the circuit.
Just like a reset current.
it this problem in this case
04/013/2013 10:13:23 - ERROR -
04/013/2013 10:13:23 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted

I feel you are fairly new to flashing and recovering from bricks.
Please Contact Senior Member For Help And Support.
And I hope you have read this thread.. from our very own @ToledoJab
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
Note :
For Unlock Bootloader Sony has Developers Tool EMMA for flashing official ROM.
Your main aim should be to get back to STOCK ROM now.
I am sorry friend but if the procedure seems too hard for you,
I'd really recommend you to send your phone to repair to sony.
To prevent any accidental hard bricks.
If your phone LED (any color) is responding, your phone can still be recovered.

Dear xda community!
I have a problem with my batterie status on my htc one m8. Sometimes i have like 20% and then the phone shuts down. When i turn on again it says, that the batterie is empty. I had this problem with stock (Marshmallow) and now i have it with cyanogenmod(Marshmallow) again. But i had that issue on stock Lollipop as well.
Is that a known issue and is there a fix for it?
Thank you!
Me too i have a probleme..i charged my phone 80% when i power off my phone at night... tomorrow i show 88%

the phone hasnt restarted serveral times.. so how should i do this 3-4 min?
Click to collapse
When you press all the button at same time, phone will not boot to system .
It will go to htc logo and restart again . keep holding the keys continusly for 3-4 min . phone will restart serval time during this process.
