I don't know what has to do the battery with your data not working but if you say it works with a different battery, stop using the one that is giving you problems.

I concur with previous posts. Your battery may not be putting out enough voltage or wattage or ampere or whatever.

Download CPU spy... and see if the phone is sleeping properly
Sent from my sprint galaxy nexus
It is. I only text in it. Most of the time its on deep sleep

Probably have a wakelock issue. And underclocking that far can actually cost you more battery because your phone stays awake so long completing tasks rather than sleeping.
Also, battery saver apps suck.
My friend told me that so i went to 1.5

Ok when I had 4.0.4, my battery life was terrible and that was because of battery leak from android os. Now , android os is taking battery normally anyone else noticed this?

Mine is not too bad. 78% after about 8 hours of usage, standby. I'm at work, so barely used the phone today.
Ah my battery life increased too. Glad to see Google fixing some problems ICS had.

I am always wondering how much NFC contribute to the power consumption, should I leave it off, or I can have it on w/o eating my battery.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
It shouldn't be that power hungry.
I can imagine it's just a small service running that checks for signal change.
I pretty sure it only runs when in range of another NFC capable chip I don't even think it really uses that much power I try to find a source

About the only thing I can find is someone saying its only .5% of your battery life

search button.
What do you mean search button?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
It does this to save your battery health. Charges till almost full drops a little then slowly charges back to full. It will forget this if you unplug it and charge to full again once you plug back in. This has been discussed a ton thus the search button comment.

It should save battery,but...My phone is charging to 100%.But you must let phone charge even if it write 99% and not charging. After approximately 20 minutes i always get 100%.
Weird... Never had this problem in my like before until today when I noticed my battery life being not as good as it used to be... Why is this taking up my battery? I've set everything as same as any other time..

Same issue here. Gnex gsm, running stock yakju 4.2.1 (rooted), exept in my case Google Services is eating more than 50%, and screen ~25-30% .
Can't find anything about it, only people complaining of the same issue :crying:
