I'll answer them in the order asked . Hope it helps
1. Yes. Many choices, more than I'd care to link.
2. Yes. Again a lot of choices. HERE is one at random.
3. Yes. But it's not a Factory setup. But they do work well. One used by many people is THIS one.
4. I believe the largest is 2300mAh. You can find them all over the place. Just be wary of who you buy from. I ordered one of THESE for my wife. If you want Extended with a larger cover, you can go all the way to 7000mAh.

Good answer, and some good links to some accessories I didn't even know existed! The only thing, though, it that the OP was asking these questions about using the Otterbox Commuter case. I have had one for quite a while and can at least answer one of your questions:
Wireless Charging with the Otterbox Commuter:
I picked up the wireless charger back with the Palm Touchstone off of Ebay, but was disappointed because it wasn't strong enough to charge through the case. I didn't want to waste my investment of $45, so I went the DIY route and made a hole in the back of my case the size of the touchstone. I know it sounds ghetto-tastic, but it works quite well. It sets and charges with no issue and even stays "locked in" when the headphone cord is pulled a little. Obviously, my case is less sturdy than before, but I have dropped my phone a number of times since and there has been no damage to the phone.
I have put together a small album showing what my phone looks like with the giant hole in the back of the case. Please forgive the poor picture quality, as I was taking them with my Transformer, which doesn't have the most stellar camera.
Hope this has been informative
I also have an Otter Box case. I switch between that, and the Zero Lemon 7000mAh Battery/ Case Combo. As I stated above the choices for a Dock were just Random. As there are really to many choices. Not knowing the person, or how they use the Dock. It is difficult to be very Specific. As for the thread on Wireless Charging. I pointed to that one Specifically because I know someone who is currently using that one with an Otter Box case with no issues.
Thanks guys! I will be getting this or a note 2.. I can't decide so I will leave it to fate and pick whatever one is the best deal on ebay come Friday.

I like these mounts, the page just went up today. It's much better than the crap Verizon is pushing. Anyone else ever use these docks?
I can't tell from the pics but does the one that have the charger block the audio out?
Never mind, I can see the audio jack now in the pics.
i came on to post this...I just got an email from proclip confirming this. Ive used proclip in the past and they are of good quality

Looks like it. I would like the active setup, but I will have a TPU case on it. I wonder if a heat gun can help me bend it out a bit.

I'm looking at the same problem here. I've been using a holder with the 2 amp charger for the past two years with my Incredible and absolutely love it. I've never been able to get an extended battery because of how tight it slides in, though. I'll email them and ask but I might have to just swap in the stock battery for rides I know I'll need the juice.
Pros of using this are great, though. Because it's 2 amp charger I would get ~25% in about 20 minutes of driving with my Incredible with fast charging enabled in the kernel. GPS and Bluetooth for Google Maps would slow the charge down but would still give me a full charge from 20% to full in an hour. With Cyanogen I would set my bluetooth to only turn on when connected to a wall charger so I'd slide this in and my buetooth would turn on and connect to my car automatically. Last but not least, your wires are all tucked away! Very clean look.
Does the mount hold the audio cable so it doesn't move and it plugs into the phone?
Any issues with the diztronic TPU case? Would it prevent the microusb or audio plugs from inserting into the phone completely?

If you get the universal dock, the bottom of the phone is completely exposed so you won't have any issues. I got my wife one of these (universal) for her iPod a few years back and the build quality is top notch.
i wish I didn't have to also plug in the cables separately, but maybe I can jerryrig something up.

If you don't want to remove the case, then you need to get the universal dock. I wish them made a version of the active dock that was slightly adjustable, but they don't.
My question is would the charging holder accommodate the extended battery given that it barely adds any thickness to the device. From the looks of the pictures, it looks like the device slides in and is held on to the sides only so it looks like shouldn't be a problem.
I contacted customer service and they said this:
Indeed the added battery won't make it work in 512324. Our adjustable holder listed with the Galaxy Nexus listing might work. Our custom holders are made for the device as it comes out of the box, and indeed any added thickness will make it not work in our custom holders.

Which I don't want. I want one with the charger, that can accomodate a case.
They make such a thing for the iphone. My co-worker has one.

Most extended batteries tend to add a lot of bulk (more than cases sometimes). The person who emailed you back may not be aware that the GN's extended battery adds about 1-2 mm of bulk to the bottom half of the phone.
Since the holder is a slide-in type, I can't see this being 'millimeter-tight'. Don't take my word for it but I'm willing to bet that this will fit even with the extended battery on.
I guess we won't know for sure until someone gets the fitted holders and try it though. I'd try, but I've a case so the fitted ones do me no good for sure.

80 bucks for that dock. Ouch. Good concept, but that is a bit rich.
I wish you could buy these at a store. I've already got the whole set for the Nexus One and I've been waiting for the GN mount. I just added to my cart and it's an extra $20 in shipping (to Toronto). So after duty at the border I'm looking easy at $60 just for that one piece of molded plastic. Yeah the mount is great, but that's seriously expensive.
I've used their cases for the last 2 years, nexus s and thunderbolt, and they are great. I still have my Nexus S holder and the picture of the one on their site for the GNex looks like the same style, if so it should work with the extended battery. The slide in case is tight on the sides but leaves a gap behind the phone, see attached pic. The phone slides into that groove and the groove itself is very thin so it doesn't appear it will interfere with the rear battery cover at all.
Proclips is a great solution. I've used it for my car for years. I used them in 3 different cars. Pricey however, it works very well. A+
Got a negative response =(
Unfortunately not. We only have adjustable holder with charging for our Apple line. These have all the same connectors in exact the same location.
For other phones there are too many differences in charging location and thickness of cases.

It was to be expected. They are not going to design a niche product for a phone until it sells consistently in the millions. That said... Creating a Micro USB small swing arm to make it universal should be too hard....
If I feel industrial, I might see what I can make on my own.

I'm not inclined to believe the capacity claims, but if it at least offer close to 3000mAh that would be decent.

Update
Update on my experience with this case. I already tore the leather for the flip front cover, so to me that part is poorly made. I simply cut it off since I didn't want to see that tear all the time. On Saturday upon receiving this case I fully charged both my phone and the case and started using them both around 4 PM. With normal use for me the case died today around 10 AM and I have been running off of the phone battery every since.
I can't say that I'm going to use this case every day as it makes the phone a little bulkier than I would like, but for me, this case will come in handy more often than not. Overall, I am happy with my purchase thus far with the exception of the tear. We will see how it does after several charging cycles.
I'm not too much of a fan of flip cases. They conform you to use the device as a book or in landscape orientation. If they made a version that would flip upward like a traditional paper note pad as opposed to off to the side. definitely buy it if one was made like that. I wish mophie would make their charging cases for the note 2.

Yeh that's what I thought.
I have a 11000mah battery block which I use but it's heavy and large.
The iPhone 5 and Galaxy cases are about the same prices.. although now that the Galaxy S3 has been out for a while I have seen sales where battery cases (not Mophie) went for as low as $25.
Very true this is on the pricey side but then again so was my Developer's Edition phone ($650). I've decided that this will be my new money pit for a while. I ordered the silver Mophie ($100) last night as well as the HTC D160 Car Dock ($60) which is finally on HTC's US website. Last week I ordered two desk docks ($24/ea) and a Poetic Atmosphere case ($10). Thankfully I'm done accessorizing this phone. It's no longer all about the Benjamins. Now it's all about the ROMs and kernels

I'm normally not a case person so I don't foresee that as an issue. I'll only use my Mophie case for nights out or sporting events when I'm really using heck out of the phone for pictures and such. I also pretty much only use my car dock when I know I need to use my GPS. I think I'll be okay.

Just making sure you knew that the car dock wouldn't accept anything besides the phone, perhaps a skin. Just seemed like an odd collection of accessories that won't mesh well.

Thanks. I appreciate it and stepping back I could see your concern for me. I'm well aware of my limitations with the HTC car dock (or most docks for that matter). I had to purchase the Mophie because I've always been curious about them but there's never been one for any of the HTC phones I've owned. This is a $100 curiosity experiment to be honest. lol
I was waiting for a battery case to show up, I had a similar one to the Mophie for iPhone so I was spoilt for battery life, and it being a smaller phone I didn't not mind the extra bulk... but I'm wondering if the added length and thickness will make the HTC One a bit unwieldy? Especially for one handed use. I think I'd have to see what these are like in person.
just came across this accessory through AT&T's premier website. I was surprised mophie designed one for something thats not an iPhone.
Unfortunately the black color is the only one available right now. Waiting for the silver to drop. I get them for $59.40 with my discount

I have the mophie case now it's awesome. I had the juice pack plus with my previous phone, the iPhone 4s. Had the the phone and case for 2 years. The case never failed me. That motivated me to buying it for my One. I usually charge the phone when I'm at 40-30% battery life. I play games on this phone a lot so this case was a must. Modern combat 4 is incredible on this phone. Are you sure you can't dock this phone with mophie on? There are 4 conecters for some sort of dock right on the bottom the the mophie case .
Even though the phone is much bulkier than bare, I find my overall experience with handleing the phone much more comfortable.

Sure but my phone is the only camera I have, Sry. I accidentally dropped my phone the other day on the cement floor in my basement, pretty hard the other day. See the pic with the barely visible dent on the top corner of the mophie case
wow how expensive that is i just bought 50.000 mAH battery cell from ebay 39.99$...
is the case easily removable? Also what is the output of the case in mah? can u take a pic of the case and phone side by side?
Just broke my first s3 and bought a new one, this time I said no more otterbox and went with lifeproof.
Damn fine cases, quality, built in screen protector and best part. There waterproof! Buttons are easy to press, not like otter box basically crush the phone trying to press the power button lol
I got mine on amazon.ca for 39.99 free shipping. And I signed up for a amazon credit card and saved another $20.
Cases are good quality compared to my old otter box. Otter box rubber is falling apart, like breaking down. I contacted otterbox customer service. My warranty was up in one week from when I contacted them. I sent emails properly to them submitting the defects, they asked for more of the same pictures..... Basically wasting time. Then at the end of the week guess what. They told me I'm no longer under the 1 year warranty. No u wasted a week trying to make me waste time. Lol
Well let me tell otter box this.... U won't see a red nickel from me ever again.
In short lifeproof is a better case and company then otter box. I've already been in the water with the case 2 times. No leaks phone is fine.

With a shot. If anything you could sell the case or use it as a backup since you have a Lifeproof. I moved to Lifeproof from Otterbox and have never looked back.
How does LifeProof compare to CruzerLite? I was thinking about getting a CruzerLite case for my AT&T Galaxy S3.
Moved to S3 Accessories forum.
I used to work at a store that sold these when they first came out. I tested them out a few times and found them difficult to pry apart and get on/off the phone. They looked very well-constructed and effective, but can anyone vouch for their ease of use in relation to applying to phone and taking it back off? Have they changed it up at all as far as anyone can attest?

you get raised buttons that allow you to use all the iPhone controls, while a sealable door and plug cover the Lightning port and headphone jack along the bottom edge. The headphone jack is fairly narrow, but LifeProof includes an adapter that extends the jack beyond the case. Rounding out the package is a microfiber cloth and a replacement headphone jack plug.

From a legal standpoint, the date of complaint stands. Don't let them give you the run around bro. Unfortunately this should have been taken care of immediately. If they give you a hard time and do not want to cooperate, you can still open a case through the Better Business Bureau and let them handle your complaint. Hopefully you have some emails with the date you 1st contacted them. If not, it'll be your word against theirs.
Best of luck to you.
Personally, I've had two OtterBox Defender cases. One I ended up giving away in my section and the other has never been used. As for the built-in screen protector, I popped it out a few days after I started using the case and applied one from Tech Armor. Great screen protectors by the way! I ended up getting a ZeroLemon 7000mAh battery and bought their ZeroLemon Rugged Case. It's not waterproof but it is one heck of a case. I know for a fact it has saved my phone on two occasions. It can be used with stock batteries too. Not bad for $19.99. It also comes with a 180 day warranty just like their batteries.

I think this is the same one:
http://www.amazon.com/TPCROMEER-Key..._sbs_pc_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1QFPG3VDBQTSDJ9WTDH7
One purchaser says that after a couple of very minor mods he is happy with this one. I'm thinking of getting one.
first time seen a really good keyboard case, ordered it from ebay will write back review (eta 30dec-15jan)
I purchased it and absolutely love it. I ended up reviewing it on Amazon. You have to make two modifications to really make the case work. First, punch a hole where the charger is so that you can charge while it's closed. The second thing you likely will want to do is cut the area by the power button. I noticed that I couldn't easily turn the tablet on and off until I did this. It's a great case. Pretty light. The only negative I have is that I wish it "locked" into standing mode a bit better. If you are typing with it on your lap, it will fall forward and close sometimes. Other than that - I've pretty much replaced my work computer with my Note 10.1 plus this case. Hope that helps!
