[Aroma Version]
Its the Big Daddy of all the other versions and the most ideal version to install for a person who knows what he is doing. It contains almost everything MIUI has to provide along with all the other Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes, Addons, Applications, Kernels, Bootanimations, Glass Apps, Google Apps, Bloatware Removal Script, Undervolting Options etc. The main thing that makes the Aroma Version perfect is that everything in the Installer is optional for the user to install, He/She can either install everything or nothing for a clean install.
[Stripped Version]
Stripped Version should be chosen by those who either have low speeds or tarrif but still want to enjoy the ROM or ofcourse the ones who hate installing something using Aroma. The Stripped Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Kernels, Bootanimations, Glass Apps, Google Apps are limited to only few required ones. It does not have any undervolting script pre installed but all the Bloatware is already removed from it. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official Port or from Aroma Version or from any of the previous releases that he has already downloaded and can extract the apps from.
[Minimal Version]
Minimal Version is a new version which has been specially optimized keeping the following things in consideration:

Battery Friendly
More and More Free RAM
All the Possible Bloatware Removed
No Additional Apps (Except the Most Required ones)
Optimized for best Performance, Speed and Smoothness

The Minimal Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Only one Kernel and Bootanimation, No Glass Apps and No Google Apps Except Google Play Store. It does not have any undervolting script pre installed but all the Bloatware is already removed from it. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official Port or from Aroma Version.
This Version is Ideal for those who like a very very clean Install and like to customize and add everything exactly What and How they want. The only things left out in the Minimal Version are the Core Apps without which you would loose the entire feel of MIUI and without them there would be no pleasure in installing it.
[Nano Version]
Nano Version is a Derivative of Minimal Version but with several core changes. It is Optimized and Streamlined to 500 MB Free RAM and a Super Smooth User Experience. The main target behind releasing this version was to provide the users with a Pre-Customized and a Pre-Optimized Version of the ROM. In other words, Instead of releasing a Flashable Zip, This time I have chosen to release a TWRP Recovery Image (Nandroid Backup) of the ROM which was made on my own device that already has all the Settings, Overclock, Governer, A Pre Configured and Optimized Launcher, A Few Pre Installed Apps, Hardcore Bloatware Removal and Heavy Streamlining and Lots More. So Now, The Users won't have to Download - Flash - Configure Settings - Restore Stuff - Etc again and again for every new ROM or Update that is Released, They can just Restore this Nandroid Backup (Using any TWRP Recovery) and Go Straight ahead to Restoring their Own Stuff which will save them a lot of time and efforts. IMO This Recovery will be the Smoothest and the Fastest MIUI you have ever used on your phone.
Installation: (TWRP Version)
Download the Recovery to your Computer and Extract it.
Copy the Extracted files to SDCard >> TWRP >> Backup >> BX######## >> HERE <<
Install a Kernel With TWRP Recovery or Install TWRP Recovery Itself.
Reboot to Recovery.
Tap on Restore and then Select iHackers [MIUI v5] v#.# [Nano] and Start the Restore Process.
When Restore is Finished, Tap on Reboot Button and Enjoy.
Installation: (Flashable Zip Version)
Download and Copy The Rom To SD Card.
Reboot to Recovery.
Install Zip From SDCard > Choose Zip From SDCard > Install
Follow The Instructions on the Aroma Installer or Wait for the Installation to Finish on Stripped Version
Reboot.
As Soon As Checking SD Card for Errors has finished, Tap on Import Settings Icon on the Homscreen and Select Nano v x.x.
[Multilang Version]
The Multilang Version is basically the Aroma Version with Multiple Languages in it. Later on if some one requests I could release the Multilang Versions for Stripped and Minimal Versions too. Currently The Languages that are included in the Multilang Version are English, Chinese, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Slovak, Czech, French, Hungarian, Danish, Dutch, German, Greek, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Norwegian, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Korean, Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish.
Installation:
Download and Copy The Rom To SD Card.
Reboot to Recovery.
Install Zip From SDCard > Choose Zip From SDCard > Install
Follow The Instructions on the Aroma Installer or Wait for the Installation to Finish on Stripped Version
Reboot.
When The ROM has been Installed and Booted, Open Locale More Pro App from the Launcher and Select Your Preferred Language.
[Official Port]
This version is the Untouched Official yet Unofficial Port by MIUI China Porting Team. It does not have anything either Included or Excluded or even Remotely Touched by either Me or Anyone else on Xperia S Android Development. All the credits and thanks go to them for keeping MIUI still alive for our Xperia S which almost died when Xiaomi decided to abbandon the Development for Xperia S.
[Addons Pack]
The Addons Pack has everything in the Aroma Version except the ROM itself. It is being provided only for Stripped and Minimal Versions because they do not have anything from Aroma Version included in them. So, In case if someone wants to install something from Aroma Version, He/She should use the Addons Pack and as its based on Aroma to, so naturally He/She will have all the options with what to install and what not. This Pack will not only work with my ROM, or any other MIUI ROM alone, it will work with all the ROMs and for any device.
Notes:
This ROM is for Unlocked Bootloaders Only.
Work on This ROM is Currently In Progress, You will see further Improvements as the ROM moves in its further Development Stages. This ROM is originally built by MIUI China Team and All the credits go to them.
In Case You Face Proximity Sensor Issues, Follow these two steps. Step 1: Install and configure Proximity Sensor Calibration from Market. Step 2: Install and configure Tasker / Automateit Pro / Proximity Screen Off Pro. Let me know if you can't get the apps.
In Case You Face Brightness Issues, use Disable Auto Brightness or Velis AutoBrightness App or Flash This.
In Case You are Unable to Install the ROM, Whether the Aroma Installer finishes in a flash back, or It does not start at all or Unable to Mount System or Data, Follow these Steps: Use This Flashable Zip or Flash This Kernel and then flash the ROM from the CWM Recovery available in the Kernel. You can enter the Recovery by pressing Volume Up Button again and again as soon as you see Sony Boot Logo. I have also corrected the USB Storage Mount Problem in this recovery. So, in case you face any problems, you can mount your Internal SD Card as USB Storage from within the recovery at the time of flashing.
In Case You have Offline Charging Issues or You Feel that the Nova Kernel is Unstable or You Face Any Kernel Related Problems at all, Flash This For Installing Default MIUI Kernel or Flash This For Installing Nova Kernel Again.
The Default Clock for Nova Kernel is set at 1.1 GHz for "certain" issues, SetCPU, Kernel Tuner, Antutu CPU Master and No-Frills CPU Control are included in the ROM, For Best Results Either Use Kernel Tuner, or any CPU Control App from the Market or from the ROM and Set the max freq to 1.728 GHz (Both CPU Cores), Intellidemand, SIO and Setup Profiles for Screen-Off and Low Battery for more Battery Savings.
In Case You are either fedup, are having problems or don't like the Default Launcher, but you still want to maintain the feel of MIUI in your launcher, You can try any of the Included Launchers along with MIUI X5 HD Apex/Nova/ADW Theme as Icon Theme and Iconset already included in the ROM.
If Anyone Have Problems With WIFI Region Code, Download WifiManager, Install it and Give it Root Permissions.
Please Do Mention all the Bugs and the Problems you face During the Installation Process or after the ROM has been installed. This will help me to improve and make it better with next releases. I would also like to request you to share your experience after using this ROM, Your Suggestions for the Improvement of the ROM will be greatly appreciated. Also If you feel that I should Include/Exclude any App/Mod/Tweak in the ROM, Let me know.
Choose Undervolting Wisely, It can cause random reboot issues, If thats not an issue for you then undervolting could be the best thing you would do for improving your phone's battery life.
Bloatware Removal is only suggested for the users who face RAM issues with this ROM, Don't just select all of them altogether first consider knowing what the apps that you are removing are actually for and whether it would be beneficial or harmful or problematic to remove them. Per App Details are mentioned in the Aroma Installer.

Which bugs? For me almost everything is working well except for a few problems with Camera, Brighness and Battery Drain.

TG 2.0 is probably my final Gingerbread build for Hero. I think it's pretty complete, stable enough for daily use and fast, much faster than 1.x.

2. On the first boot many internal tweaks that require a restart are set up, so please do so before setting up stuff, this is pretty critical.

being a bit of a noob, but how does a2sd work? i know the option on recovery, what should swap be? i know aaaages ago i used 512mb for apps, so how do i do this??? lol

Leave it as EXT2. And yes, but do this BEFORE flashing the rom.

You must be on MIUI Rom And open superuser in Tools > Settings > Allow applications to request ROOT permission (ON)
Keep your data connection (wifi preferably) ON.
Reboot in Recovery
Goto MOUNTS & STORAGE
MOUNT - System, Datadata, SDCARD and DATA <== MOUNT THEM.. do NOT Format them.
Go Back
Choose & Flash file downloaded.
Advanced => Fix Permissions
Reboot
LET IT SETTLE FOR 5-7 MINUTES AFTER BOOT
Do not add any account, press Home Key, Grant root permissions if asked. Keep your data connection ON.
Reboot.
Let it settle for next 5 minutes.
Add your accounts.
Enjoy.
Post-install recommendations:
No Launcher Settings required to be changed v3.0 onwards.
If any app gets updated internally or via market it placed itself on last homescreen, do place it back in respective folder.
Recommended to use max freq 1000Ghz.

NO, it can be installed easily on your stock/custom MIUI Rom.
I have to place some icons myself like Radio icon, blah blah blah..
As this MOD is developed on Vibrant. You may need to move your ass and do place 1-2 icons yourself wherever you like. Else send me one I9000.
What kernel are you using in this??
NO kernel included in this mod. It is always recommended to flash desired kernel before this MOD to ensure tweaks remain intact. Recommended to set max freq to 1000MHz for better battery life.
My icons seems misplaced?
This happens when internal update takes place. Place it back in respective folder.
My widget disappeared, what do I do next?
Nothing. Keep data connection on. And give a reboot.
It will appear. If not remove and re-add by long press.
The Live Wallpaper provided goes into half loaded state on each homescreen, what do I do?
Nothing, it will fix itself. However, if you want quick fix.. use Auto Killer and Kill all apps.

Dude...There is one issue. Every time I reboot, something weird happens. For example, Icons are misplaced (out of the folder), settings are lost ( I have o manually write the port number for my network), city location for temperature on glass all-in-one widget is set to Mumbai automatically. Contacts have to be imported from SIM/SdCard.
This happens on every reboot. I don't know if its me or ppl are having the same issue.
Let me know if this is a common problem and what is that I might do to correct it?

So far, no such issue occurred since v1.0 on Vibrant.

Edit: I like your mod but there is one problem I find so far with the Glass-all-in-one widget. Every after reboot, geolocation is turning off for the weather. I removed the widget and re-added it. Now every reboot it became transparent and I believe the widget is still running though. I like the widget but how to make it work? Can you please assist? Installed on an SGS i9000 if this makes a difference.

Thanks for the video. I see you are using v2.0 theme.
I will like to add that quadrant speed highly depends on kernel.
Also battery life depends on it, make sure your phone goes in deep sleep when you not using it. Check via CPU Spy app.
I installed this over Miui 1.10.14 and my videos are still laggy with flash player ...

Hi dev...it seems that the mod tends to drain battery. I've tried installing this mod in fresh install and existing installation...either way..the mod tends to drain battery...the CPU runs at 800 mhz...any reason(s) why??!!
I installed it, and it looked beautiful. But yes, it just annihilated the battery and runs very poorly. Multiple attempts at fresh installs and not a single one works for very long. Maybe its a compatibility issue with Galnet MIUI?

I believe Galnet uses a custom framework which may be the reason why this mod tends to drain battery..

Thx for the rom. I get an error7 when try to install the zip.
Downloaded the zip twice, just to be sure its no bad dl, but no luck.
Did fastboot cwm, flashed ww.30 stock, reboot into system, put your zip on sd,
shut down, fastboot cwm, format system, factory reset, flashed your zip.
I get a FC when I try to open the accounts&sync tab of the settings. I tried fixing permissions in cwm no good

Same problem here.
It also doesn't seem to be installing my apps from google backup. I never understood google backup though, It didn't seem to do anything until I had two android devices at the same time

I haven't bothered to use it until the acct&sync is fixed cause I wasn't sure if I'd have to reflash. Also I'm really hoping the google backup will kick in and install all my apps back. I didn't bother backing up even an app list cause I thought it would just install them all like the tf300 did when it was new. All the apps I use on my phone were installed automatically after first setup.
this rom, it restored my wifi setups so some things are being restored, just not apps.

It's not the custom roms thats stopping me. Its the unlocker program that runs and tells asus on you that you unlocked the bootloader permanently voiding the warranty. I just had a 300 burn up on me, so i am reluctant to do anything to void my warranty on the replacement.
Meh name is clearly for my own productivity and organization.. i just do this bc i needed something on mine ... like stock but fast and efficient and 100% the pad i bought ... And i like to share

And nothing should be coming up as far as wifi settings... You should be formatting system and factory resetting in recovery

I am currently on AOKP. before I installed it I rooted, installed Clockwork with the stock rom still on it. I then backed it up thinking this was a way back should I need it. Are you saying this isn't the situation?

ok sweet thanks a million. can't wait for update.
No when I said wifi was coming up I mean that because I choose to enable google backup at first setup, it restores things like wifi settings, installed apps, some other settings, etc. I know it was active cause it added all my other wifi ssid's and passwords but It has not started installing my apps back like it did before. It's probably related to google backup not your rom, like I said before I never really understand how it works.

How did it burn up? are there known flaws or defects in the 300 that cause premature failure? just tryin to extend the life of mine

This really isn't ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, or CyanogenMod anymore. When you put them all together you have something totally new. If you have an issue and you want to call my attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.

3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

No I tried doing that as well however restoring data from your backup will end you up in a bootloop . In terms of reboots I have experienced none try downloading lean kernel the latest and you should be good to go!!
My ParanoidKang Android Tmo S3
I installed it myself to give it a go, but IMO, it seems to be capable of a lot, but the UI just doesn't feel as good as the PA one. I've only played around with it in Tablet UI, but a few things I've noticed is that the navigation bar buttons are too far apart and that the app switcher UI isn't as refined. It is nice having all the toggles work, though. I'll be switching back to PA once the next release comes out.
The recent task manager actually is more advanced than you think (layout is a lil off but if you play with it im sure it could be fixed) what i like about it though is that it actually identifies know much ram your using (see screenshot)Anyhow When you setup tablet mode did you set it up via pa settings or ROM control because it does make a difference

did you wipe fully? make sure you clear cache and dalvik as well as fixing permission. if that doesn't work try reflashing again could be a bad flash .

I set it up through PAPrefs. I don't really care much for the total free RAM since I'm pretty sure we never run out of RAM lol.

Guys, for some reason my home button doesn't work anymore... any ideas why? It stopped working right after I flashed this rom, I was on PA before. I can get into recovery tho while the phone is off, so I know its not psychically broken. Any help is appreciated

bugs:
- Sometimes blue artefacts in the interface, so recommend, open build.prop and delete the line

and reboot device. So we turn-on C2D acceleration by latest Qcom libs with c2dGetDriverCapabilities and c2dCreateFenceFD support.

Glad to see another developer coming to the NitroHD. Hope you guys can collaborate to eliminate the common CM10 bugs present in our phones!

Maybe in another year once i learn more about operating systems I'll be able to contribute too, but currently I haven't got the faintest idea where to start. (Taking Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering)

Tried, but unable to enable data connection.
Edit: Reflash the ROM again, and data connection works then.

Had a few random reboots so far, but could just be my phone. I have never been able to use any of hono's ROMs as think I have a weak chip in my phone, doesn't seem to like anything except stock speed and voltages.

There are known bugs in the cm10 kernel that cause random reboots. I have fixed some already and I will continue to fix them.
I will be submitting my changes to cm soon. Until then, developers can use my fixes. My source is listed in my rom post.
Battery use based on this morning
Here's what I saw from the ROM after using it this morning:
- one "System UI" FC, nothing major
- sleeps well from clean boot, but once engaging into activities the phone awakes pretty frequently
- battery drain is somewhat heavier than CM10 compared to nighties I tried a couple months ago, stock ICS (20f) is still much better
I'm trying to load some tweaks into it to see if battery drain can be reduced.

same battery drain issues. phone is not getting into real deep sleep. also i think notifications are not vibrating if im not mistaken. someone else verify that last one. i did a clean flash, no backups or anything like that. btw, i have to say it is a lot smoother and pretty stable so far even compared to cm9.

Very good rom, OC'ed to 1836 without problems, scored 8150 in Antutu, this baby is fast, not seeing any bugs yet, running it as my usual rom unless something's wrong with it, would love to have intellidemand governor in future releases (very good on battery life without sacrifying performance), just saying i know you are workig hard, good work man !
Battery doesnt seem to drain for me, i put min CPU to 192mhz, will report later if i see anything wrong with the rom.

my device dont want wake up with it after long sleep (all night). Can some confirm that? Think smartassv2 not adaptive for 2 Cores device. Think need delete it from kernel.

im using smartassv2 since day 1 and still no BSOD. this is common on cm10 builds although.
How to undervolt?

Thanks for the nice ROM, i have a query regarding Undervolting.. right now the ROM is smooth and fast, would like to better the battery performance by undervolting,. how do I do it?
Also i tried installng Samsung Touchwiz launcher. for some reason it doesnt work.. but it worked fine before on CM10 and JelyBam ROMs..

All of the CM10 ROMs seem to have the same random reboot issues, here's the ones I experienced:
1.) Random reboots where the phone will just stop responding in the middle of doing something and completely restart.
2.) Issues waking from sleep on occasion (seems to happen after receiving a notification, I'll hear the phone chime then a few minutes later go try and wake it up and it wont wake, the buttons light up but the screen will NOT come on). I have to hold down the power button for ten seconds or so and it will restart.
Also, I don't know if it has anything to do with your ROM but about a day after installing this ROM, I pulled out my SD card and reformatted it on my PC and when I put it back in, the phone constantly kept freezing and restarting. EVEN AFTER I DID FULL WIPE AND FLASHED multiple different ROMs! All would start up and freeze within seconds! I had no choice but to use unbrick method and reroot. I've been playing with ROMs like crazy the past few days, trying to find a stable one, and so far this is the only ROM I've had this issue with. It's also the only ROM I formatted my SD card with, so maybe that's the issue. Just wanted to point it out, it almost had me returning the phone, I thought it was a hardware issue.

Thats weird, not having those reboot issues with any of the CM10 roms i used for the LG930 so far and i tried them all ... maybe something wrong with the hardware of your phone ?

I'm going to try your ROM later tonight. I will report back the logs if it has any reboots. It's nice to see there's people working on it.
