CM10 Camera Problem - blank/empty/corrupted photos - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

For some reason my camera app on CM10 can take about 3-5 photos but then suddenly stops and seems to save just a corrupted file.
It looks like this

I'm using Hurtsky's kernel but I don't think it makes a difference because I had the same problem on a stock kernel. My SD cards are swapped though
Has anyone experienced anything similar, or can help me get rid of the problem?

I had the same problem with my old 8 GB memory card, I just moved onto a 32 GB one from sandisk, but i'll try formatting and see if that helps. Thanks!

I think there is something wrong with mine. It's been running a backup for about 10 minutes and still isn't done the dots are pass the htc logo now. I'm using the latest RA it's never took this long and it's not much on my phone to backup. It's been doing this all day been having to do a battery pull. It will restore and flash the right way but my backups arent finishing I'm going to let it fun for about 12 more minutes and if it's not done there is something really wrong. Anyone having this problem?
Here is what I looks like can someone help

I had this issue on 1.8 a few weeks ago, make sure your not plugged in. What I ended up doing was scan disk my card in my pc (found errors) then re partition my sdcard in the phone, then re flash my rom. I also updated to 2.2.1. After all this my problem went away. Not sure if you have to do it all.

Need some help. Im very confused

Hey everyone, I am very confused for the fiest time since Ive been on Android. All of a sudden, everytime I flash a new rom, in my battery stats it will show sd card as eating battery!?? So, I will Format my sd card, and it will go away. But I have tried 3 different sd card and it happens with every one so i know its not the sd card! And this wasnt happening before it just started like 3 days ago. Any ideas or help how to fix this??

could you be a bit more specific? what did you flash?

You know where u go in settings/battery to see your battery stats? It will say Screen, AndroidOS etc. IN there it will just say SD Card. I formated both the SD Card and Internal Storage and its gone now but its happened the last three times Ive flashed a rom. Oh, and it doesnt matter what Rom, Any rom I flash this seems to happen now all of a sudden. I usually go between 3 Roms, StrongSteve, FreeGS3 and Blazer

Have you tried a different SD card, or no SD card at all?
Yes I've tried different sd cards also.

Slowdowns after flashing several times

Hi guys..
I bought this fantastic phone one week ago, and I'm very satisfied with it (I'm coming from an lg optimus 2x, you could understand my happiness )...
But I've encountered a big problem...
When I start to flash ROM, after some flashing the phone begins to become very slow, specially when I open apps...and this WITH CLEAN ROMS (and obviously with /data wiped)...
So I've understood that the problem is in I/O operations... It seems that partitions are being damaged...in fact only a flash with Odin solves this problem...
Maybe I do something wrong in flashing ROMs?
My custom recovery is TWRP (or I guess this is the name)..as I said before, every time I flash a ROM , I do a nandroid backup, I wipe data, and then I flash.
Pls help me! Now I have to reflash stock jb with Odin again
Up
Is no one able to help me?
Is this GSM or CDMA? Which ROMs/kernels have you tried?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Mhmm
How are you clearing the data? If you are using the ROM built-in data wipe options I suggest you boot into recovery and wipe all cache system and all others. I have never experienced lag when loading roms.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I'm on maguro...this happens with every kernel and every ROM...
BUT GUYS I THINK I FOUND THE PROBLEM...
It seems my galaxy nexus suffers of the same issue of nexus 7....when internal storage free space is 3gb or less, my phone begins to slowdown horribly....
Now I will do some tests and if the problem will be confirmed I have to open a more important thread on general.
I guess no solution at time thank you for your answers guys!
Maybe your recovery is bad. Try a new download and reflash..

I tried all the recoveries (TWRP, CWM normal and touch) but nothing, after some time it begins to slowdown...

Benchmark with 2gb of free mem on internal storage:
See IO result... :/
Benchmark done on rooted stock ROM with stock kernel...
I have same issues, looks like Nexus 7's memory bug, but now on some Galaxy Nexus devices. Reported to google, look for an Issue 39154 and join

It's quite simple:

2. Remove SD card
3. Do whatever u wonna do with sd card
4. Put SD card back into phone
5. Turn ON phone.

Oft course I could switch off the phone. But Samsung's stock JB and GB offer a button 'remove SD'. And I was surprised, that CM should not have such feature.

Okay, unfortunately I don't even know if there's such a feature in CM.
How often do you really need it??
I've read in a forum that you are able to remove SD Card with CM every time when phone is in sleeping mode. (normal standby-mode( Power button pushed short time and display is black)).
I don't know where I've read it, so I cannot give any warranty to you. If you wonna try do it on your own risk.
DO NOT DO this, if you have changed Modified fstab.
I have changed storages via modified fstab, so I've no change to refer my assertations.
regards
xafra
I have modifed vold.fstab. removed sdcard a few time to transfer backup without setting anything(because of bootloops )
EDIT: i dont mean its safe, but do it at your own risk

Well first of all I installed a custom rom (OmniRom 4.4) it had bugs cuz it's still new rom so I went back to stock after success installation I reboot my phone but the phone became a bell (I have rogers) so because it was late I thought I'll change the csc next day but early in the morning my brother installed the stock firmware again because of bloatwares well while he was installing he checked efs box and the repartition too
not 5 minutes after he waz done I saw what he did and since then I tried almost everything and looking everywhere I have even the twrp backup but the twrp can't find it becomes there is something wrong with internal memory
I installed titanium backup to restore my (tibu)
It did install nothing changed
I'm hopeless
Sorry for that spelling I'm using Taptalk lol
Can you use Odin to flash back to stock 100% and go from there? It looks like you definitely need to get back to stock firmware and your description is a little confusing as to what your brother did with...Odin?..that's a guess because you didn't state what he was doing exactly
