I advise you not to install a N7100 ROM.
What ROM were you trying to install? Are you sure you downloaded the whole ROM?

Please dont install N7100 ROM if your device is N7105 or you will be in Deep trouble .
Go to Recovery mode Press Volume up+Home +Power as soon as you see Samsung N7105 release the buttons
and now you will see a Factory reset option which will erase all the info from your device Message, Music , Videos , contacts,Emails,Pictures all

Find the original stock rom and flash that in Odin.
CLose to tears
I'm just a little kid and my mom bought me a Samsung Galaxy Note 2(GT-N1705), i truly regretted ignoring her advice on not rooting my phone. I bought in in Singapore and it has not even been a year! I've seen this thread and realised that i rooted my phone with odin but i used GT-N7100. Now, my phone is stuck at something that says,"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." I can still get to the download page but i do not know any stock rom which is GT-N7105. If you have one please post me a link as should my mother know she will kill me.

Try and flash the firmware for your region from PC ODIN.
The fact that it's bootloopong and you can still enter recovery means your ok. Just go flash original firmware via Odin.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I don't know from which region comes this device. I'm sure not from mine.

Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin

Flash 3-Parted FULL GB FW for your GT-I8160 and beginn from scratch. It's an russion version but you can change language easily.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53921158&postcount=8
Aftetr that flash any GB/FW you want... Be sure that you pic one for 8160 (and not 8160P)
After flash go to Recovery mode and do factory reset....
Note that all Data (contacts, internal SD Data, etc) of your phone is lost then! External SD will be untouched - So data on external is save.
Thanks!
you helped me out!
after flashing stock firmware including the right bootloader it works.
Now I have flashed CM 10 on it and a backup for if something goes wrong.
I also found the right Modem.tar on a Dutch forum so the phone works properly!

It looks like you flashed a ROM for the t805 not the t705.
First let's get you back to stock.
Download the firmware for your device from the link below.
Follow the instructions to install it. This will get you up and running again.

Any more suggestions:crying::crying::crying: please
Tbh I think you have a hardware issue.
Now new problem when I try to install twrp it will not do it, If I go into the system recovery and try to do factory reset an error shows as follows
E: unknown volume for path {/sbfs}
E: unknown volume "/sbfs"[/U][/U]
Data wipe complete.
I thought it may be battery related but I have changed to a genuine new battery. still same issue
Please please Tech God help me
