any ICS ROM with working Camera?

Hello,
I have been trying to find any ICS/Jelly Bean ROM for my HTC WILDFIRE S ..but with working camera...Cynagenmod 9 cam pretty close because its working fine and I am able to record the video with lg camera app but the video is very laggy...in short...not able to take full advantage of my cam...any suggestions guys? or any FIX or workaround to get a full working camera on any of such ROMS?

Cm9.1 alpha 9 has fixed some thing.
I hope its the best rom I used..

Yes, I am using the exact same ROM. I must say, it is almost perfect..the only problem is with the video recording...i am able to record with lg camera app and default but its very laggy......

See. May be video playback.. is bit laggy.. then use mx player..
But I didn't had any recording issues yet..!

CM9.1 video playback is laggy if you have a live wallpaper. For best video results use no wallpaper setting. I'm not sure of a working camera yet though.

I use CM10 form modpunk and camera is ok. Only preview has some noises and is not clear. It is not perfect but usable.

Green screen on camera

Hey guys, I have a note 2 N7100 now with the latest Omega rom. Problem is that my camera is green, I mean I can take pictures but can't see what I'm taking... Before Omega I used CM and the camera worked but often I had to reboot before using it otherwise I got a black screen...
So I can't find a rom where everything works, espacially my camera and that's kinda annoying ><

Are u still using exynos abuse app? Green screen used to be caused by the exynos abuse app to block the threat at that time. On latest roms exynos bug have been fixed. No more need to use it unless ur on an older base version. Ask the rom developer for answers.

Working Photosphere Camera!

Jamison904 <=The awesome Recognized Developer
Came out with a working photosphere Camera!
It leaves your old camera as is and adds a new camera shortcut in app drawer
Seems to be working on 4.1.2 Touchwiz stock based roms
So far it works with Team Infamous rom and I have tested it myself on JMT JB V4 as well
*EDIT: XDA user Sojay tested on CM based 4.2.2 and reported it working
(I owe you a thanx ran out today hit u up tomorrow m8 )

Really... I was playing with it for an hour and took about 6 full 360 pics with no issue...
what mod and kernel you running?

That's because this zip was extracted by a nexus phone, but you can always use your regular app for that.

No offence to anyone but the several ZIPs were already released to the public, but some of them were taken down so this is a good thing. I just hope if video works in this

Yeah, that's what I meant............Recording does not work, it just shows green "noise"

This installs a new camera app alongside the regular one .... Would suggest removing your current before flashing to avoid any confusion

camera not working
I downloaded the photoshere camera and installed it using clockworkmod recovery. It installed fine. Camera works but no photosphere icon. Is there a work around? Custom rom installed on my phone is cyanogenmod 10.1/android 4.2.2

Do you mean no icon in the camera app or the home screen? The icon is in the camera app if you thought it was an actual app

Thank you for this. I had another photosphere app before, but it required me to change my build.prop to look like a Nexus which is not ideal. This one works great without having to modify the build.prop.

The camera flashed just fine but the camera gets stuck everytime i switch to photo sphere. On JMT 5

Basically the camera behaved JB 4.3 note 2 With The recording in slow motion and fast. Besides container containing the same Characteristics of our leak ROM. (with sound and shooting).

Installation:
I recommend making a backtup before installation.
Download and move to phone memory
Reboot in recovery
Wipe cache and Dalvik
Install zip and reboot.
If anyone can improve the port, much better.

Hmm.. Followed instructions and get 'cannot use flash in low temperature' when I open the app then a force close... Any help?

I'm getting the camera coming up with no UI for a few seconds followed by a forced close

Wanamlite 7.2 isn't deodexd. You need a deodexed ROM like JustArchies or S4 Revolution.

You should manually deodex the files involved!
Just tried. You should just delete SamsungCamera.odex before flashing.

[APP] Screen Recording

I found this app and thought I'd share it, unfortunately, this is only for rooted devices.
I saw people asking Maclaw to add screen recording support in kernel, and I also needed this feature now so I took it to Google?
Anyway, until Maclaw does add support for it, you can use SCR.
