Probably little to no differences between 4.1.1 and CM10 yet, as all of AOSP has been merged and CM9 is being finished prior to major testing of merging CM9 features into CM10.

Does it have t9 dialer? Otherwise im happy with stock

I thought it would be months before we'd see anything. And, yes, I'm impulsive enough to flash an alpha.

looks stock with some cm apps dsp apollo so on. and a cm kernel

I'm guessing something doesn't work? Love to flash something new except I need everything working.

I'm so ready to flash something new. But currently on aokp ics and I think I'm staying put until official cm10. But will keep an eye on this.

Did they add in toggles in the notification menu? That's the one thing that I'm missing. Other apps on the Play Store aren't as good.

what's new besides the obvious?.. DSP and Apollo...

Me too.. but I'm using Notification Toggle app with CM9 custom icons and it's working fine.
The only thing I miss from CM9 is themes support, but honestly JB is sooooooo smooth that is the first time I'm considering stick with an original ROM, not CM or other custom.

Same here and I'm still on ARHD the original JB preview.
But after using it for a couple of weeks, I am getting bored of it and I miss my downloaded themes to switch as well. I'm ready for CM/AOKP now...

Confirmed. The camera is borked. It's pretty snappy. Looks a little different here and there and the system sounds are noticeably louder than stock. There's probably more that's been changed...I mean obviously cm kernel is there. Can't be a daily of course, but WOW! that was FAST!

Does anyone have a mirror for the Gapps`? Ive tried the goo.im one for a cople of hours now, it just keeps telling me that there are some problems with the servers

[CWM][LSJ] JB 4.2 Camera/Gallery

Hi guys. I'm sharing you Android 4.2 Camera app with the Gallery app. Sphere function works. Only that did not work is video recording. I don't know why,but i leave it to the Expert, Dev that have interest can moded this apps to make the video recording work.
FLASHING THIS WILL NOT REPLACE YOUR CAMERA AND GALLERY. YOU WILL HAVE 2 CAMERA APP AND 2 GALERRY.
Only tested on 4.1.2 Wanam

Tested it, it takes photos, records etc, until i try stop recordning on 720HD video, it hangs up and wont go back to cameramode, have to close it with taskmanager and restart again
on 4.1.2 LSJ simplistic ROM.

I have the 4.1.2 leak rom and gets caught me when I want to use the photo sherpe ... could you give me some solution? Thank you!

Try to reflash because i can use sphere func without any prob.

4.0.4 - doesn't work. Gallery freezes, PhotoSphere also.

Works on wanamlite 4.1.2 almost perfectly! All works but it crashes sometimes, not bad at all! Sphere is like a dream!

I think it only work on jb base.i not dev.sorry

But I installed newest JB (NeatROM) and it worked.... for a while. Today it doesn't work without reason....

can anyone please help me completely remove this form my device, its causing issues with my kernel breaking my front camera.

CM10 With Working 4.2 Camera?

I've been running modified stock TW ROMS and they seem to be the only ROMS capable of running the 4.2 camera with out it freezing. Anything CM10 based freezes. I've searched the forums for a fix to no avail has anyone found a fix for this? I really love this camera and want to use CM10 based ROMS in the future.
Also is it possible to use WiFi-Direct on CM10 properly to transfer files? I see the WiFi-Direct option in the settings but cant seem to send files this way.

did use the search, must not have used correct keywords. Touching middle of the screen doe not always work. Thank you for the response.

Just curious, were you able to get the 4.2 camera to work on any ICS TouchWiz roms or were they all JB?

Yeah I had it working on stock ICS and I have it working on a Galaxy Note II port. For me only TW seems to work the camera flawlessly. Nerver got it 100% on any CM based ROMS.

Touch middle of screen to focus then take a picture...OR.......go to option and turn scene mode to "action"...that also fixes the problem

Just tried this as well, doesn't work. Even used different 4.2 camera packages with the same result. Just going to stay on TW based ROMS for now.

I've done a fair amount of reading on this and I really don't think the 4.2 camera will work until we get the merged CM10 builds. I'm not sure why it appears to work with ICS TouchWiz roms, but as far as CM10 is concerned I think it's a pretty safe bet that it just won't work until we get 4.2.

Installed it on my device running a modified TW ICS rom,
Photosphere doesn't work that well :/

Try flashing this camera package. This is the only one that seems to work for me for some reason. A friend of mine discovered this. I wish I knew where so I can credit them but try flashing this zip

It very well could be. The zip I sent you has photosphere working and with the gallery working. The editing portion works on few ROMS not all for some reason I've noticed. But the zip i sent you is the one I've been using.

Here's the ROM I'm using since I was on my mobile responding before:

Everything is working except the photo editor options. Tiny world works but it's hit and miss on the others. So far this is probably my favorite ROm that I have had no problems with yet. I just use stock gallery to do my photo editing when i need to since 4.2 is mostly filters anyways but photosphere does work for me.

Just installed it on the custom ICS rom I've been using.
works great.

I had it on Task's ROM, and it was really buggy. After using it once, my camera would stop responding and I would have to restart the phone. Or after opening the camera from the messaging app it would freeze also. I didnt think it was that great though, for me personally there was obvious stitching in some areas.

Been using it on my s3 with Liquid Smooth rom. Dont forget to change scene from auto to keep camera from freezing.

Photosphere works great on the BlackJelly Rom. It doesn't freeze up like I've had happen to me on other ROMs.

such a great feature. totally destroys panorama on iPhone 5.

Been using this with mine on CM10, works perfectly fine. There are a few rough spots sometimes but never FC'd or anything

XDA won't let me post the link, but do a google search on 4.2Camera_t04 and you can download it from the Dev Host website. I'm pretty sure that this is the Photosphere camera zip file that I flashed with BlackJelly ROM.

Got it working, pretty cool!

[Q] CM 10.1 issue camcorder

Hi all, so i was on AOKP's latelst build of jelly bean which is mr1-build 3,everything was working perfectly fine then i wanted to record something so i went to the camcorder and it wasn't HD and was fuzzy so i gave it a shot anyways, and playback was just static. so i figured i'd give Cm 10.1 a shot, and same thing. Anyone else encountered this issue or is it just me? and if so is there a fix to this? or will the bug be ironed out in the next stable CM/AOKP releases?

It's just one of the things that they don't have working yet. I'm sticking with touchwiz roms till then, (and maybe still after... I really like embryo).
Stick with cm10 or try to getting the 4.1 gallery somewhere and install it along side if you ever want to take a video.

Hey thanks for the reply, in your opinion what it is the best touchwiz based ROM? and for the stable Jelly bean roms, what is THE BEST as far as functionality goes, what is the best rom whether it be JB or ICS? oh and also Battery ?

I am really enjoying embryo 6.3 by Mohan. He has done a very good job of making a stable dd to use, and it has a lot of nice features. I would definitely give it a try... doesn't hurt. But going from tw roms to AOSP roms or vice versa is always a bit of an adjustment in my opinion

I don't think it playsback at 1080p, I've record at 720p though and it works fine. Try changing the definition.

4.2. Was on mr1 and am now in PAC build3. Either one, stock camera video did not work. Camera JB video works like a champ on both.
Edit: Sorry.. Not PAC build 3. Just PAC v20.0. This one is the shiz..
