NO Bilal as triangleaway needs root root your device with stock recovery use triangleaway and unroot it .

[Q] problems after rooting

hi everyone, i'm in a difficult situation now. i purchased my note 2 a week ago. heard about rooting and rooted it with ubuntu. then i used the cwm recovery to instal stock update. after updating to 4.1.2 my supersu file does not update its binary and all the apps that require root say root access denied or no proper root . even the root checker said this. it showed superSU 0.96 installed but system/bin/su NO SUCH FILE OR DIRECTORY it shows. i tried flashin again but it wont return to cwm recovery when i press vol up+home+power it just enters into stock. but the flash counter on warning screen increases but current binary says samsung official....need help guys pls....

I don't know which stock ROM you used, but Jellybean (4.1.1) gave my superuser app fits. I used Chainfire's Supersu.zip file instead of the superuser.zip the second time, and the phone has been fine ever since. I think I you should use it instead of that superuser.zip file if you haven't already.
i worked it out,i wiped the device and flashed the same rom that come with root in it.and everything fix now.
thanks to all of you that tried to help me.
by the way this is the rom- http://api.viglink.com/api/click?fo...747UCDLK3.7z&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13593235906782
Note that it has the same Supersu app that I uploaded as a zip file. That other superuser.zip file can sometimes cause you problems.

Not 100 % sure but I think if you've upgraded to 4.3 and rooted again with cf autoroot you have to then update su from playstore to get root back. I think it downloads the update which you flash through recovery and that's what it's asking you. As i said I'm not 100% Dr ketan's guides are always the best answer

When you want to root you can use CF to root.
When boot into android you need to update SuperSU first.
Then open SuperSU app and update. When app is asking you yo disable KNOX do it. Then it will work
And to root you need this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933542

[Q] lost root still have supersu installed

yesterday I upgraded to 4.1.2 from my t mobile s3.. and now that when I try to open any root applications like titanium backup and greenify it says root access needed. I downloaded root checker.. and it says *you have no proper root access*.. I don't know how the supersu is still installed?? and it can not be uninstalled..? I tried to uninstall from the settings and asked me to reboot.. but still supersu was there? can anyone tell me how to permanently uninstall it so that I can root my phone again and clean install a supersu?
note: I did not have any custom rom installed. . was just having root access and supersu. .
How did you update? I'm guessing you have no custom recovery so if you want to keep everything stock but just have root, then flash the MD5 or respective root66 image for your phone in Odin

Just because you have Supersu does not mean you are rooted. What is the version after update ?

I updated from the notification bar on my mobile.. and yeah I did not have custom recovery either. . should I just root my phone again? I don't know what to do.. I have frozen some of the bloatware from titanium and I can't get them back? even after force stopping titanium backup.. ?
thanks.. I force stopped supersu and disabled it from there.. and it gone away..

I managed to root mine with motochopper. I had some issues getting it to root because running bat file as amin doesn't work and you have to run it as normal user.
Finally gain root with motochopper, always failed before
I fail gain root with motochopper, here is what i do the last time and get root
The latest version of Kingo Android Root did it for me. Just download it, put your cellphone into usb debug mode in the configuration settings, conect it to your computer via usb and run the program.
Since I'm a new user I can't give you the link to the download site, but you can easily find it through google.

I have successfully rooted my gt-s6812 using the vroot method . The only problem i had was that the superuser file was in chinese which i managed to get fixed using the latest version of supersu. after installing supersu it will ask you to install su binaries .Update the su binaries do normal install and then it will ask you to remove other superuser or su binaries just do yes and you are done.:good::laugh:
