Ill try to take you a screenshot of what i see when i hit system updates
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app

If you do not see that it means you are on an AOSP type Rom. Your not on a Touchwiz type rom. Your going to have to create a nandroid backup of what your on right now if you wish to stay with that rom. Then your going to have to do a clean flash of a TW rom whichever you prefer I recommend either Freeza's Stock rooted MD4 or The People's ROM TPR. Once your on a touchwiz rom you can update your profile and prl with Sprint and you should be ok. Then you can simply restore your nandroid if you wish to go back

For some reason my screenshots are showing up black

No that is a nandroid. So yes go download a TW rom, go into recovery Wipe cache wipe dalvik and do factory reset. Then flash the TW rom. Just boot it up log into Google you don't have to set it all up or anything so don't go through the whole restore process. Then update profile and prl and while your there it won't hurt to key this ##72786# into your dialer . Then reboot into recovery make a nandroid of that for future use if need be. Do factory reset again and restore your previous nandroid.

I believe on cspire you dial *611 and speak with a Rep, or Technical Support. They will reprovison it for you. As far as I know you cannot do it online. Not sure about doing it through the Device itself. The codes are most likely different.
EDIT: Did a search and came up with this THREAD FOR SGS3 CSPIRE. They cover a similar issue in several posts.

Yeah because cspire is totally OK with me rooting their phone and changing their rom

IDK they're policy, but I doubt it. As long as you're on a TW Rom they should not be able to tell unless you tell them.

i think i need to instal a cspire radio/modem

Before you go flashing Radios / Modems. Make very certain you have the correct one. Did you call cspire, to see if they could resolve the issue?

So ive seen that most wipe instructions dont include wiping system. Is that somethingn you should keep intact when flashing roms for the sgs3? Cause on my other phones ive had it was always recommended to wipe system... couldbthat be the issue if that was the case I wonder?

[Q] How do I go from JB back to fi27 rooted?

Trying to figure out how to go from jb 4.1.1 jro03 to ics fi27. it's not the newest jb leak that just came out. the one from around a month or 2 ago. says my baseband version is ff18. if that means anything.
i'm having data connections in my home town and have to call sprint. when they tell me to dial ##*****# it wont do nothing. when i try to do system updates it calls sprint customer service and nothing happens. so i need to put it back to ics so i can get my data issue fixed. just wanna have the latest version of ics rooted. dont care of factory reset. i have everything backed up
they will wanna disconnect me from the network to fix the issue. they just did it to my wifes e4gt and it worked. i am in north dallas and they are upgrading the towers (data upgrades). i haven't had decent connection since friday when they started.
thanks for any help in advance.

let me get this right before i start.
choose the fi27 rooted option, rom no data, rooted? can i preserve my data going from jb to ics? sorry still a newbie at this.
No if you're downgrading from jb to ics you need to wipe user data. Oh and baseband is your modem btw so you're running ff18 modem it has no connection to what rom you run
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
It is best to wipe data when downgrading. You can however use titanium backup to make a backup of your user apps, then after wiping and installing FI27 you can then restore your apps and data. I've had no issues doing that. It just doesn't work if you try to restore a JB specific app.

Just had a thought. It's easy to get stuck on boot when you flash back to stock without wiping.
If you can wipe it/factory reset that could solve you're problem.
And it'll boot up.
It's confusing cause it looks a lot like your phone not booting cause of the kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Yeah just take the battery out and get into android recovery by pressing volume up, power, and home button. Then wipe/factory reset and reboot system.
^^^^ just like the gentleman said. Reboot into recovery and factory reset it. It should boot up after that.

Recovery isn't there, any way I could do it from adb?
Sent from my HTC Ruby using xda app-developers app
If you can get into download mode, reflash the stock tar in Odin again or just flash the cwm or trwp recovery tar and reflash a different kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999
Here is a link to Odin-able recoveries that you can use. I also agree with the others that this is probably a mismatched ROM/Kernel that is preventing you from booting up. The only problem I foresee is that you Odin'd a stock image, so now you are not on CM10 anymore. Now you'll have to find a TW kernel that you can flash, like Morfic's or I think Ktoonez has one too. But you can ADB push the kernel to your SDcard so that when you flash the recovery above, you should be able to then go in and find your kernel and flash that.
What I suggest first is to Odin one of the recoveries (TWRP is what I use) and then once that is done, go in and Factory Reset and try to boot it up. If it works, great. If not, then you may need to move on to pushing a kernel and flashing that.
Volume up + Home + Power takes you to Recovery.
Have you tried that?

Can't install ROMS the with aroma

So I'm having a weird issue. If a ROM is installed via aroma, my phone will either freeze during the aroma installation, or finish the install and never boot. This is after a full wipe every time.
Any ideas as to what might be going on?
Thanks

I found that i have to factory reset in twrp as the last step of my wipe in order to get aroma installers to actually run and not freeze up. Otherwise aroma will either not load or freeze up in the middle of choosing options. YMMV.

I didn't think you could update profile on AOSP.
I think my aaa key is fine because I was reading that data would be messed up on stock ROM too, and I flashed back to nexOGen and data was fine.

You'll have to make a backup of your aosp ROM then restore/flash back to stock to update prl and profile. Then you restore your aosp ROM. Hopefully that works

Even if that works, I want a fix that will allow everyone to use it without going through all this.
It IS possible to update prl/profile on AOSP ROMs, because I could do it on Helly Bean for my old Samsung Epic. That doesn't speak much for us LGOG users, but maybe it could help somewhat.

Whenever I have this problem I do a full wipe of everything on my storage device, and then push the file via adb/sideload in recovery. Install the ROM zip, and then side load the gapps and install. Clear cache/dalvik reboot...Profit? :0
I have formatted data, wiped everything, and pushed it with adb every time I flash it. Still the same result. I think it is the kernel, but don't know enough about it. I've asked a couple of people for help. If anyone knows what I could change in a 4.2 kernel to make it compatible with 4.3 that could fix it maybe?

Use same fresh install method listed in any of my rom threads... I'm not sure about restoring messages I never do it but system data is usually a no no if you have issues with titanium download super su update your binary with the recovery method then go into titanium preferences and click the back up folder location option and change it from sdcard0 to legacy it will ask you if you want to move your back ups say yes then restart titanium and world will be right again
