Like title says, was wondering how to make the wallpaper scroll with the home screens like it used to in stock Ginger Sense.
I've tried looking through Personalize and Display and Gallery settings, and can't find anything related to making the wallpaper scroll like it used to.
So when i go to set a wallpaper, it just makes me resize an image to be very skinny and tall.
Thanks in advance!

Sense 3 uses a static background image because of the endless scroll carousel feature of the launcher. This allows the launcher to be scrolled in one direction for an infinite number of loops.

Hmm interesting to know. Thanks though!

Which is odd they can't do it, cause launcher pro has scrolling background and working smooth endless scroll

The only reason I can see they didnt do it is when you look at LP is kinda lags when you go back to the other side. It would do that on sense too but with the carousel spinning it might crash it or be way to laggy to be appealing.

Sense 3 correct sizing wallpaper app
Hiya!
For correct sizing I use an app called AutoResize Wallpaper. Its brilliant! It allows you to set your full pic as the wallpaper. No more cropping for sense 3. To apply just choose a pic from your gallery, press 'share‘ button then Autoresize wallpaper and it does it all itself. Its free from the market too
I like to select a picture as my wallpaper, but setting it as a wallpaper it zooms in unnecessarily. Has anyone seen this? it is happening on my wife's phone as well.
I am wondering if this is an issue with Touch Wiz, the Gallery, or something else. I have tried it on ALL the launchers and that hasn't helped. I have also tried to lock the wallpaper scrolling, and setting it as vertical and horizontal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You may need to resize the picture to use it properly as a wallpaper

Wt do you mean? I have always been able to take the picture from the gallery an set as wall paper. the phone scaled it properly. This phone it seems like it thinks the screen is bigger than it is. I guess I could try and scale it my self....
Look for wallpaper wizardrii in the market. Its free. Use it to set your wallpaper. Select stretch to portrait.
Is it possible to make this image fit the entire wallpaper screen? My only wallpaper option is to crop most of the photo. Leaving me with a low res closeup of the gang or the skull.

Just install pic speed wallpaper HD to download and set wallpapers or us Google+ problem solved buddy.
I use "Wallpaper Set and save" free in play store. I also use the wallbase app and have WSS pointed to the save location of wallbase. So its easy to find good wallpaper and then quickly set it so that it fits the screen properly.

Does WSS create duplicates of all your pictures you end up using as wallpaper? The last app I tried (Wallpaper wizardrii) did that and it was extremely annoying
.

You don't have to crop with wizardrii ... There's plenty of choices ... you can choose exact if you want the resolution of the wallpaper
I found this out by mistake. If your 3 screens are full and you drag a widget on to it you can create another screen for that widget and then delete the widget and the screen will stay. I don't Know if it will be there after reboot though.

Do a pinch on one of the pages of your homescreen and you'll get an overview of your homescreen pages and a plus, push the plus and you'll add one page.
