I made a back up in recovery mode before I installed root box so how. Can I restore that back up. And go back. Completely stock again?

The same way you made the backup,in recovery mode.If you managed to do the backup, i'm sure you will find the restore too.
HINT: it's the next row, below the backup one.

Completely stock means yu wan to go back with bootloader locked.....??

[Q] Flashed 4.3 ROM

Hi guys I flashed a 4.3 ROM and when I'm going to restore a backup the first time it didn't let me. It gave me a error. I couldn't flash any other ROM. So I Odin. This time when I was going to restore my backup wasn't there.
What might it be?
You need to be more clear when asking for help, help us help you. Were you on a touchwiz rom before flashing a 4.3 rom? Your backup might be gone now if you odin'd back to stock.
Try connecting your phone to a computer and see if you can find you backup, if your back up hasnt been deleted, it will be in a folder with the same name as your recovery (TWRP, CLOCKWORK MOD RECOVERY OR CWM).

Theres the problem. Google changed the file structure in android 4.2.x.
Just type into google "android 0 folder".
Sounds like your backup is gone and you have to basically start over. You should keep an extra copy of any backups you make on an extra sd card or even on your computer.

TWRP back to CWM?

Hey all, looking to make my phone stockish again and I have TWRP installed and want to get the CWM reinstalled to restore my original backup. I've already done everything though FreeGee ect, and tried to reinstall CWM through that but it was a no go. Can anyone point me to an .img file for CWM that will work with E980, I saw one for E988 but wasn't sure it it would work. Thanks for any help!
Just use freegee.

Restoring To Stock Recovery w/o Wipe?

Hey guys. Just wondering if there's an option out there for me to restore to stock recovery without a complete system wipe? I want to go ahead and get the ota so the notification goes back to the abyss whence it came.
I have Zar's decrypted stock RUU as an option but would rather not wipe the phone.

Stock recovery install will not wipe data. Only unlock does that

Flashing a backup question

Hey, I just flashed AOSP KitKat but when I boot into twrp, my backups are gone. When I boot into the rom, they're there when I check my file browser. I had a backup backed up to my laptop and just put it in the root of my storage. Can I just flash it like I would a custom rom through the "Install" menu? Or will that mess something up?

Never mind, got em back. Just flashed back to Optimus and decided to wait for a stable kitkat rom

I can't get CWM back on my G Pad

I can't get ClockworkMod back on my Pad, and I need it to restore a backup. I have TWRP on now, and my backup will only restore under CWM. I can't boot into the bootloader, because that's locked -- I had to perform an emergency restore, which downloaded & installed the latest firmware from LG. Where do I start?
Thanks!
