Hi guys ... I am fairly new to this and this is also my first post but I am having some troubles .. nothing major just annoying .. first I would like to say great job on this from .. I have tried a few and definitely prefer this one the best .. ok so let me start with my issues ... the boot screen ... boot screen displays Samsung galaxy it9100 with the yellow triangle .. no big deal .. don't know if it is supposed to be there .. whatever ... here is my real issue .. there are two apps on my phone that will not stay installed after I reboot .. every time I reboot ... dream heights and sprint NBA mobile ... every time I boot up the shortcuts are there and it says that the application is not installed ... I have titanium restored them as well as freshly installed them from the play store .. I am not sure why this is happening .. some info .. I followed the instruction guide for clean install exactly how it is stated on instructions .. have never had a problem .. I was always wondering if instead of just wiping should I actually format system and format data and format cache ... can someone provide me some insight ? ... it would be greatly appreciated ... I also used the main dl not the mirrored one .. I used mirrored b4 and it was still happening so I went with main .. if someone would be so kind to also post the voicemail apk link that would be cool ... also I cannot receive voice SMS msgs ... any ideas ? thank you guys in advance I have read many of these forums and know that you are very very helpful
Hello everybody i came into this forum for the first time to unlock my sgs4 from tmobile , i saw the tutorial and i did it 3 times and it dindt work so i tried by doing this:i went to the puone dailer and i enter *#27663368378# after that I did this 1-umts-->common-->nv rebuild-->erase all efs1/2/3 when i saw the warning saying "efs clear!!not rebuild!! Yes will delte imei and fr cal .data and so on effect to lose network." After seing this i went to root brownser and I copy the efs folder and paste it on sdcard-download , after choosing the option yes my phone rebooted and when power on it says that is on factory mode , the lockscreen is gone and my imei is 0/00 , sow i went to root brownser and i put the efs folder that i baked up and I rebooted my device but nothing happen , i know i did something really stupidddddd and its all my fault but my big question is :should i buy a new phone or there is a solution for this stupid behavior ? Try to rebuild it from the same service menu
using micromax a1 past 1 month and this is the only issue i have ..... randomly at times im not able to write data on micro sd card ..... means not able to store clicked pictures , delete/edit content , download content from whatsapp etc , worst part is that it happens without any warning or notification , due to which i lose many pics thinking that i have clicked them but not .... when i open quickpic ( gallery app ) it shows toast notification - "not an error (code 0): could not open the database in read/write mode" , googled the error and found that it is an issue in kitkat , btw im using everything stock ,locked bootloader , non-rooted . i didn't find any proper solution to this.
Any help ?
P.S - problem disappears after a reboot but again comes back after few hours , tried resetting sd card ..... works fine in othe mobile/PC ....

I recommend you to flash it, may be it will fix your problem

sorry but i didn't understood .... u mean flash custom rom ? but im waiting for official lollipop update

Nope, said to flash you with stock rom using sp flash tool, lollipop update will be in the last week of January

is bootloader needed to be unlocked to use sp flash tool ?if thats so , then i will wait for cm12 beta 2 , why to go with inferior rom ....

make sure you have the reuqired drivers installed, just see youtube tutorials, you will get an idea on in this A1 forum, hit thanks if i helped you
I have the exact same problems and i tried using diffrent sd cards but its no use. I know lollipop will fix this issue because google said its bringing back support for sd cards in android 5. Till then i dont know how i can fix this issue. Btw i am on ART runtime . is that causing this problem or will flashing another stock rom work ? Please help.
SD Card Issue
My friend had the same issue with his A1, and I being his "go to guy", I did factory reset, factory reset from recovery mode, installed stock rom again but none of this worked. Finally, i replaced his SD card with mine and tried to click a photo and voila it worked. So morale of the story, buy a new SD card.
I'm pretty sure my girl friend some how always gets my passwords for everything and can also see all of my messages . how so ? And if I'm right how can I do the same ? At least unlock the phone without factory data reset ? Thank u
