My YouTube has been lagging bad. The app and the mobile browser. I'm trying tonfigurr out if it's my phone or my wifi. I ran some tests on my wifi. Does it look slow?

Go to a free wifi place and test it out.
If its the same its your phone.
Please when you ask questions like this
Post them in q&a
Also its easier to help you when we know what rom your on, are you rooted,
Etc etc.

I don't know how fast your wifi is supposed to be, but 9 down and 2 up is plenty for YouTube videos. Assuming you have an AT&T data plan, the easiest way to see if its the phone is by disabling wifi on your device and try playing the video over the data network. If it works, it's most likely some sort of bottle neck in your wifi at home. If that's the case then I would reboot your router and try again. If it doesn't work on either network, then there might be a problem with the phone worth checking out.

Tips: make sure to play on WiFi. Takes way too much data. But plays great on 4G and even better on WiFi.
Here's a screenshot of Lego Batman played on 4g.

It's a really slick app. The audio and video stutter. I'm not sure if it's hardware or software causing that. Still cool though.

Its not the hardware its basically cloud gaming so you would need a strong wifi connection high speed around 10 mbs or higher to not get stuttering. A phone connection isn't that great. Also it you'll hit your cap in about 8 hrs of gameplay most likely. Onlive doesn't use our hardware at all. Even a outdated computer could do cloud gaming.

I'm not sure what the correct name.. but one of them was to connect an external GPS to it.. but in a previous device I seen a person talk about it.. It completely borked his internal GPS.. I could be wrong but I'm pretty confident about my leads lol! I hope some one with the correct name and information can chime in.
Those are testing ports. Do not stick anything in them lol. Someone from here decided to hook up an external GPS receiver from one of those. While it did work fine it completely borked his radio after removing it. Those are really only for Samsung to do tests

Maps seems to be eating alot of my battery

The only thing I had on which I recently turned off was update location automatically. Anything else I might be overlooking.

Google Now uses maps. So if you have it enabled, that could be why. Mine uses a little, but I do not use it much for commutes so that might be why it does not use much battery.

I had the same issue but keeping GPS off (when not needed) fixed it.

This is what my battery usage for maps looks like. It used to not drain this much. I haven't even turned on Google Now on a fresh ROM install.

I get this constantly (as in every 60 seconds at times). I like the phone, but not if this continues.
thanks much

Yeah, I'm still stock and I get that error as well. Without getting a logcat as it happens it's difficult to tell. I wouldn't worry about it that much.
Try flashing a newer version of the Google apps

In settings > app manager, find Google Services Framework and clear cache and data.
If that doesn't work boot recovery and wipe dalvik.

First off, try going to Settings/Data Usage and unchecking Mobile Data. Restart your device and then go back to Settings/Data Usage and checking the Mobile Data option to turn it back on. Screenshot below will show you what it looks like.
If this does not work, PM me or send me a message on Gtalk. [email protected]

What do you mean, you connect but you only get 2G speed but your 4G icon is showing? Or are you completely not getting data?
