I’ve just flashed the Cyanogen 9.0 RC1 to my Arc s phone, everything is great except that the camera is not working.
I’ve downloaded another app for the camera, unfortunately, same error (can’t connect to the camera).
any help please

Try flashing CM9.1 It works for my LT15i (I've tested camera in normal and panorama mode).

I've only been using this combination for a few days, but the idle time is brilliant, and the phone is quite responsive.
The most exciting thing about CM9.1 is the THEMES on the "play store".

it’s nice and smooth, almost same as CM9.1
graphically improved, but unfortunately the camera is not working so I’ve returned back to CM9.1

I have htc desire hd after soo many sleepless nights i was able to root it and tried few roms (android revolution cm11 cm10.1 soo on) finally oxygen rom suits me . I want to know details about this kernel thing.Am attaching screenshot of my phone .What exactly this kernel is and which will be the best kernel for my phone ???
Before rooting my phone battery back up was 3hours max with using wifi or mobile data but after flashing this rom am getting around 6 to7 hours backup .
help me out whats best for my phone

You can try svhd rom new android(4.0.4)new kernel,new sense 4.1 and is better for battery life.

SVHD rom was cool i tried but after few hours facing phone hang problem it stuck suddenly then i have to pull out the battery
am download blackout rom ..
if u know any other good rom let me know

I can tell you who is better becouse is custom rom.
I try meny roms but for me soul rom is better,you can try z74 is the last version improve battery and kernel and is in english.You have link up.

You need to full wipe an then flash new rom,do you have s-on?If you have you need to flash boot img.

dude i flash your soul rom n i loved it i made up my mind to have it then after few minutes its disconnecting from charging or usb ....when i switch off my phone then i can charge but when i charged when its open its discharging not able to connect to pc too any solution for that ?

i am using this roms. flashed it yesterday. its good.best thing is based on 3.4 kernel
still.........
rom lags some time...but its fully functional for daily use,
1. Camera working good full hd supported. but not better than original lg cam.
2. battery life is better than other cyanogenmod but not better than sphinx 4.1 or v30d roms
3. custom cpu seting.
4. root working
5. what u can do is replace camera with JB custom camera for cyanogenmod, its better.

i saw this post on some chinese site. and then used google translator and followed it for few days and got this rom link. its an excellent kit kit rom. best so far. thanks for all the work.
i am using this rom its 3rd day now. everything working great. it is the KITKAT rom we all been waiting for.

i was using it on dalvik myself, and dalvik is default setup, has switched to ART to try this feature. Its working great, will assess it and post about it after some use in 1 or 2 days.
ART is running smooth, don't use xposed framework because even in dalvik or ART, device become laggy

after using ART some softwares become incompatible. like my titanium backup is not running now and Lg JB camera moded for cyanogenmod is not running/ cant install it again.

hv u installed the lollipop look like rom
my wifi also stopped wrking man.... i tried every rom even stock... it stopped wrking... but it is only wrking on lollipop look like rom ... which i think made it stopped for other rom

I Installed The AOSP Rom/ CODE AURORA(find on dhacker29's thread on Original A.D) and works normal, and CM11........

it is sure that it is not a hardware problem...
but why it is only wrking on lollipop .... aosp dhcker's and cm11 .... why not on stock and semi aosp....

i am getting "google play services stopped working" errors repeatedly.
i tried installing gapps from mi store. and also flashed micro gapps in recovery. but still facing those errors.
is there any fix for this?

already installed the rom and Google play store without any problems try install this apk and open it will install Google apps after finishing open play store and continue by your account but you will facing fc just ignore it and continue after that play store will work normal leave him for 15 minutes to update Google firmware you will see have new design now you can download app what you want
1. Battery life so bad
2. Bluetooth audio quality very very bad when you connected to headphone or mini speakers
3. Camera sometimes not working unless i restart the phone
4. Google Play Services and framework Has stopped
if there is any solutions just tell me please, the most important to me battery life and bluetooth audio quality

i tried to reflash again and again from the same twrp, after couple of retry it worked..
but after a week or two my device in which i was using miui it restart and got stuck in bootloop .. thts why i had to switch to stock again
over all it was a great experience owesome work bro .. everyone should give it a try
DONT USE GOOGLE INSTALLER OR OPEN GAPPS (i got play services fc n then contacts never sync)
USE A-GAPPS N IT WILL WORK 100%

nope everything was running fab .. except sometimes camera stop working says "cant find camera " but after doing restart it starts to work again.. at that day same thing happens..when i restart my device but that time it stuck in bootloop.. and keep on restarting after Galaxy s4 boot screen..

Strange , saw bootloop issue only when I Uninstalled any bloatware
